I don't know if i am watching Sunday,Sunday or Old timers footballers in green or the Nigerian National team. I am finding it very difficult to believe that this is Nigerian National team.

Clement westerhof once said "I call professional players to the National team to tell them what to do to football and not to teach them, how to play football" (In response to why he played professional player that come to the National team two days before a match)

The present set of players (All national teams and the league players) lack THE SIMPLE understanding of the game called football. A player will pick up a ball, dribble one person and take a wild shoot at the goal, hoping that the keeper will look the other way. no creativity, no sustain pressure on the opponent nor working on the identified weakness of the opponent, nor do they make use of the wings or set piece. In modern football, if you don't make use of these areas in football, how in gods name, do you hope to win a game.

Presently,it is very difficult to find Nigerian player, leaving our local league to any top club in Europe. All we get this days are player going to Sudan, south Africa, Israel, Russia and even India to player football. There is a need to get a football consultant (preferable old and experience coaches) to under study the league teams and all national teams to identified, these problem areas and come out with an action plan for the development of our football or on the alternative, give the national teams coaches 3 year to address this problem.

I am not a consultant, but i believe, if the problem highlighted above is not address, we will be face the same problem (elimination for major competition) one a yearly bases. Also, we need to reduce the pressure on the national team coaches (e g under 17,20 and 23)the idea of calling  professional footballers from euro to play junior national team will Never help the development of our football.

RE BRAND OR DIE (SIMPLE)

The Nigeria club sides and the NFL are over grown babies that should be walking but still on the ground. How do you expect any meaningfull government/governor/Business  concern to be feeding a football team for over 15 year without any revenue coming to the team.

What our clubs league need is sponsor/ revenue from gate taking/merchandise sales etc. We watch Julius Barger club, Udoji unit, Abiola babes etc fold up due largely to over dependence on individual or organisation. More, will still go if the issue of generation of revenue is not address.

Gone are the days were people support a team just because of Name. Now it is what you have to offer in teams of performance , parkage.

4. A country were over $5 billion was spent in the construction of steel industry and four rolling mills with no steel to show for it.
5.A nation were over 7 bomb went off,  killing  over  100 persons and a single arrest or prosecution has not been made by the police till date.
6. A country were a group of militant held the nation to ransom and the government have to negotiate and pay them.
the list/example is endless.

if the federal government go ahead, with the crazy proposed nuclear plant, don't be supprise, millions will sleep and not weak up and the explanation will be that the man that have the key to the control was held up in a traffic and we will all laugh about it and move on as usual.

loosing a N5m and over $10,000 on winning bonus is not easy,somebody should please tell siasia, to please drop the case, polish his CV and get a job in any of the African country or league in Nigeria to prove himself and improve on his man management skill. I believe he still has a wonderful career ahead of him and should not kill it now.

Kashi under Amodu was sack form the super eagles and he went out , to prove to Nigerians and the world that he was a good coach.

When people talk about power improvement, I feel as if the people are NEPA/PHCN staff or are on Nepa payroll. My people, here in Lugbe (new site and CBN Quarter) along airport road Abuja, I have been on Generator for over 4 years now. When we see light, it comes at Night (1am -5am) only.

My people is not the technology to identify the individual that is the problem, the question is what does the Nigerian Evident Act say about the use of the information obtained using voice and video evidences. We need a Lawyer in the house to educate us more.
