Dont mind the PDP bandits. Superimposition is what they best at. Like how they move train cabins around for commissioning. The other day they showcased an estate in the Lekki area as another PDP project in a northern region. Crooks! mumu9gerian: |
Effort in futility. Its gat to get into full action before it can be fully appreciated, as in the the real value of a cuisine lies in its taste and not its aroma. When it comes to show time, YAWA GO GAS! End off! |

We have come to another critical turn in the history of Nigeria. Elections loom and are starring us in the face. If not for such providential twist, the country wouldve been locked down in the last twenty four hours in what could inarguably have been the hottest contested electoral battle since Nigeria gained independence. So much tension heralded the run up to the botched final week (...today), until it was undone by series of events which are still being debated both inland and beyond. However, not much will change in the run-up to the next election dates in six weeks time when it will eventually hold. And the build up so far has thrown up so much forest dances, hues, rants and odium from the players and followers alike, drawing us to the compelling need to educate and also forewarn all the actors but more importantly the electorate about significance of the fair play esprit and also the need for greater circumspection. Now this thread is never an attempt at scare-mongering but a total reality check for us as a people, but specifically for those who continue to rattle their sabre, simmering both on the flanks and centre, singing, beating and banging the beats of war. We truly need to pinch ourselves and remind us that the politicians dont really mean well for us and they dont deserve our blood, same as the tears and sorrow of our loved ones when the curtain finally goes down. For we know even their own loved ones have been shipped out long before now and they really do not give a flying toss about us. I have brought some images here, to remind and instil in both our subconscious and present, the perils and landmines we might be confronted with if we refuse to heed wise counsel and not take this contest the way they expect us to, tear, club and feast on each other while they sit on the sidelines to either cheer or sneer at us, only to continue with their parochial, self-serving pervert ways. Please some of these pictures, you may find disturbing but again, thats the reality of things that may likely occur if we refuse to heed the call of wisdom. #God Bless....

You are very correct. Majority of yorubas are disappointed in this govt. I kno for sure people in my area are generally voting apc, not because of tinubu or fashola but following on the tradition and beliefs of bein governed well. Our cyber and political space has been inundated with so much debates, counter-debates and unbriddled propaganda, as to why General Buhari is fit and not fit to rule/ lead the country. They've gone to such great lengths calling him different names from the asinine to the most disgusting and to even wish him dead. Now one begins to wonder what exactly the desperation is as to why they are fighting so hard to keep this man from ascending the top spot. I dare to say with his unblemished past and integrity status on zero tolerance for corruption, these people in government and their acolytes are scared stiff. We rise up each day and week to perils that we can scarcely imagine from this government, with scandalous amounts of monies missing or frittered away. It is no brainer that thats what they are terribly scared of, a Buhari government will open some damning CANS OF WORMS! |
Oga Ade has come again. Prolly, for the 13th time within four years of stewardship, he's been wiping BH out with word of mouth. Here.... President Goodluck Jonathan has called on the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) not to politicise the issue of security, saying government was doing everything necessary to tackle insecurity in the country. Jonathan made the appeal in Abuja on Monday while declaring open the 11th Delegates Conference of the NLC. The theme of the conference is “The Working Class and the Challenges of National Security, Unity and Democratic Development.” Jonathan, who was represented by Sen. Ayim Pius-Ayim, the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), said that the issue of insurgency would soon become history. “We are working on the issue of insurgency and we are putting resources together from public and private sectors to ensure that the issue of insurgency becomes the thing of the past.” The President said government would continue to collaborate and partner with the NLC to support their course. Jonathan further stated that NLC should encourage youths to be creators of jobs and not job seekers by setting up their own businesses rather than waiting for government jobs. He, however, promised that the 2015 general elections shall be better than the 2011 elections. The President urged the Congress to ensure that its election was peaceful, free and fair. Alhaji Tanimu Turaki, the Supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity, said Nigerian workers must remain in the struggle for the unity and peace of the country. He said the administration of President Jonathan was working so hard to curtail the issue of security in the country. |
They said he is not electable. Now that it's time to put their claim to test, they are running pillar to post trying to stop the only test that will prove them right or wrong. They said Nigerians love Jonathan. Now that it's time for Nigerians to show how much they love him, they are afraid to subject him to public test. They said Nigerians want continuity not change. Now that it's time for Nigerians to speak in favor of continuity or change, they wouldn't let Nigerians make their choice. They said he's a military despot while they are democrats yet, he want elections and they hate elections. They said their reason for the shift is to secure Nigeria from Boko Haram. How could they make Nigeria secure enough for elections in few weeks when they couldn't secure it in 5 years? They said he is dishonest and they are honest yet, he always keep his words while they always break their promises. We said they are clueless and they said they are prepared yet, it took them a week to elections to realize Nigeria is in security mess that needs the concentration of the armed forces to clean up at the expense of a promising general election. They said Nigeria is safe yet, "unsafe" Afghanistan, Iraq and Sudan conducted credible elections while a "safe" Nigeria failed. Be it February or March, a bad government will remain a bad government that must be sacked. No matter how long you delay the burial of a corpse, the dead never returns. KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE! [qoute]Without ever knowing or meeting me, Buhari gave me a chance. As I now write, I have never met him one-on-one. We have never spoken to each other. It is an extraordinary experience of an unusual man. I was sitting on my desk in the Ministry of External Affairs, 40 Marina Lagos in 1984, when I received a letter appointing me Ambassador to the United States of America. https://www.nairaland.com/2136370/buhari-personal-experience-ignatius-c-olisemeka |
