We know how it ends. Buhari has no moral right to investigate or prosecute anyone. The EFCC are simply wasting their time. They should start with Buhari’s campaign funds and then we will know they're serious.

In a country like this with strong tribal and regional recognition, what is the point of a federation without fair representation of all regions? When did u become such a detribalised Nigerian when loads of ur posts here show ur strong tribal affinity?

The issue of alleged forgery is strictly on legislative matters and should only be addressed by the legislators themselves. The congressman serving a jail term did not commit a legislative gaffe, his offence was outside of his congressional functions and office.

It is just like a Judge accused of being derelict in his duties or failing to give judgment within 90 days after closing arguments of parties, he is not subjected an open trial before a regular court, he is rather dealt with by the disciplinary committee of the NJC which .ay then recommend a suspension or dismissal of d erring judge.

That is how to protect the sanctity of independent institutions like the judiciary or legislature which guarantee our democracy. Otherwise a police officer accused of insubordination or even the army officers accused of mutiny ought to have been arraigned before a regular high court judge and not court martialled.

The power of d legislature to regulate its own proceedings is sacrosanct. I expect whichever judge that d matter is assigned to to decline jurisdiction.

The Roman senate and the Greek senate comes to mind where leonidas have to give concrete reasons why he should be given soldiers.
I dream of the day the senate will summon president and make him tremble,summon ministers,police,military personnels and security chieves and make them shiver before the people's representatives.
