I'm a Niger-Deltan but I don't support that FG should give them money, instead the federal govt should start cleaning up the mess the region has becoming since the discovery of oil;clean it up and develop the place. That is where they make the money they used to make Lagos and abuja what they are today, but Niger-Delta has nothing to show for it;its like using and dumping someone after getting what you wanted from that person.
Clean it up with which money? Did u not hear nigeria is broke and the little funds we are trying to gather these monsters are reducing it more. And even if fg wanted to clean, these people are bent on destroying their own communities even more

U too funny wella
Make buahri no dialogue with dem. Dey will make him regret. NDA. Are fighting for there right
Abeg visit any of the creeks in ogoni, bugunma, southern ijaw, brass, warri, okirika. U will see pple suffering and Alhaji buhari and his hausa associates have all d oil wells. Until d petroleum industry bill will b passed where host communities get 20% of revenue generated by dis oil well. Wahala go still dey
The oil well they are now destroying?? So when they have successfully driven all the oil companies away, what nexthuh Who will do the cleanup? And with which funds??

Be rational. The NDA bombings has nothing to do with development of nigerdelta. If nigeria becomes like somalia, even u that is opening teeth will suffer too. But more importantly nigerdelta will suffer the most

how much damage is it to land as to economy. You think the oil companies affected won't have shut down production by now and the source of fire put to stop.

Think right... Think smart. Even your almighty Buhari has taken the dialogue option, what you should know is the real Naija is the Niger Delta all other regions are the rians.
Economy will only be temporary and everybody will suffer for it. Worst come to worst be go back to our groundnut pyramids, that one even good sef. But who will clean up the nigerdelta after all the bombings? Who will give them food when they can no longer fish? Jobs nko? Who will give their kids scholarship to go to school when they have driven all the multinationals away?? So what do u have for nd: poverty, hunger and mass illiteracy.

Whew...Oturugbeke.

This is economy crippling mission number 1. Boko Haram were killing and taking lives... We were feel remorseful these ones are blowing pipelines and it seems to be affecting every Nigerian and the economy.

ND Avengers I beg you in the name of Baba God... Make una accept dialogue with FG.

Buhari please give these guys more money, opportunities and jobs like GEJ and Yar A'dua did.
Give them more money to buy mor weapons, blow up more pipelines and slowly but surely become another bokoharam?? Its still the same u that will be begging fg to fight and eliminate them that time

If the army knows where the militants are, they should go after them and no one will blink!! Attack innocent civilians and live to regret it
What u dont know is that shld the govt fail to eliminate NDA, its only a matter of time before NDA start attacking nigerdeltans, blowing up communities and kidnapping people. This is exactly how boko haram started. The people were hailing them as champions until they turned on the villagers themselves.

U shld be praying that fg will crush these people now, not making empty threats. Live to regret what??

AustineE1:
Honestly, dont you see that people seems to have sympathy for the Avengers and this is so because of the way the present regime is running the country. The problem with we Nigerians is that we only say the truth when it favours us. Can any reasonable leader come out and tell the world that a section of his country is classified as five percent and do not deserve equal treatment as the choosen 95 percent and you waive it aside and expect things to go normally, na wa!!!
You make appointment at the federal level and 80 percent goes to the choosen section and you think that you are nt alienating others more and more, thereby creating more sympathy and foot soldiers for the militants.
A particular choosen ethnic group moves around with AK47,carrying out ethnic cleansing and they are treated with kid glove and after they would have the temerity to occupy the land of their victims and you think others are not taking note.
You throw people in jail indiscriminately and pass judgement on national TV before the court hears such case and blatantly disobey court rulings.
You rode to power on intergrity, you are applauded by we Nigerians for fighting corruptn but turns a blind eye once the accused is from your party, lets stop pretending,we all know the truth.
You wldnt want to continue with amnesty but you are indirectly giving amnesty to murderous boko haram members who surrendered.
The truth is that no true Nigerian will like the way our national heritage is been blown up by the militants, just simply to pass a message across but the president must stop being confrontational, overly nepotic, must listen to Nigerians and lead by example.
A national conference was held last year on how best to restructure the country but guess what, some people prefer things to remain lopsided,'monkey the work babboon the chop'. If you claim to have intergrity then you shld be willing to do the right thing.
.....'if you bury lies it dies,if you bury truth,it sprouts over and over again'.
Ok u raised many issues, some of which are legitimate and others subjective to your political or tribal bias.

First of all, u talk about arresting people unlawfully. Pls can u name just one person that was arrested without due process or is being held unlawfully? I understand that many are not used to seeing criminals brought to justice, we are used to the inauguration of kangaroo presidential committees to quash and corruption allegations. All the people being held in custody were ordered by the court. Of cos know that only recently nnamdi kanu's appeal to be released was thrown out by the appellate court.

With regards to national conference. Let me ask u this. U inaugurate a conference loaded with you political allies and pay each member N12million, and u expect them to come out with unbiased resolutions? Of course u know that even the final document that came out of that conference is under contention. There are various versions of it, so how do u expect a new administration to base its policies on a flawed inconsistent document? How do u expect the apc to trust a conference organised by pdp where members were paid millions? Pls be realistic. If the tables were turned would pdp enforce apc's conference?

It is true that the president may have made some mistakes with some utterances but nobody is perfect. Jonathan did worse. And even obama, george bush sometimes make mistakes. But the main issue is the original intent.

When u talk about appointments, pls can u point to any part of the country that is not represented in this administration? I am even surprised when nigerians fight for appointments because all the people thy appointed from ur village, what have they done for u. If appointments were a criteria for development then nigeria should have been like paris and london by now.

Pls lets not be moved by bias or trivialities. This administration is still finding its footing, its true. But every objective honest person can see that they have good intentions

The army is already weakened!! You can see the militants are having it too easy
That they are not bombing or opening fire on a large scale doesnt mean they are weak. The army has to contend with amnesty international, human rights lawyers and the international community, while NDA doesnt have to. But we are gradually getting to that point

Rochas?? That is is the biggest fool ever
We need to hold our leaders reposible

Northern built the three refineries in the south south., LNG, (even awarded two extra LNG, which Jonathan couldn't even complete), the petrochemical company, yer our son was there for 6 years what can we show for that??

North has had more leaders are they more developed??
It doesn't matter were the leaders are from, I believe if we speak with one voice and tell government what we want we will get it

I believe in a true federalism, yes but is it not the same leaders that will still manage the resources??
You are right

The smarter thing would be to beg them, not scare or threaten them. And also, the people are not NDA.
Reallyhuh That would be the dumbest thing. FG to beg militants. Really?? Where in the world does government beg terrorists? That will just be the end of the country. Everywhere will erupt in flames. All manner of groups will start carrying out their own

Government shld never be weaker than its citizens otherwise it loses control and falls into chaos. The best thing is to start looking elsewhere for revenue and mount an unprecedented assault on the militants. Nigerian army must never be seen to be weak otherwise we are finished!

Nigerdelta brace yourselves for another boko haram. Those supporting the NDA will soon know what suicide bombing, stray bullets, abductions and child rape really means.

The same people supporting NDA will be the ones to beg FG to come to their rescue. Cos its the same pattern. When the power of violence gets into the head of the militants, theres to restraint to their attrocities

Thank you so much for ur humble explanation.
Borrowed fund: I mean are they not going to borrow the money again? Did the bank or chinese government disapoint or decline to borrow them the mone?
You see all the reasons u stated above except the blown up of pipeline are never problem for now. Oil is $50 now meanwhile the budget was base at $20~$35, it means there is still hope. I just believe that the government are still confuse and they need orientation on how to govern, yes they have the good of the nation in mind. Thats my humble submision sir.

Pump Price? Yes it will cos ND will refine crude themselves as seen from the local refineries in the creeks.

Employment? Yes cos the
East will focus on production of goods and commerce.

The North will focus on crop farming and cattle rearing...

South will focus on Cocoa farming and rendering professional services...

The ND will focus on drilling and refining its Crude...

We will do better this way.
Yea but following what u said. If u withold ur oil, why shld I keep giving u my onions, yam and meathuh
And more importantly, those illegal refineries in nd contribute zilch to national quota. They are simply siphoned abroad to enrich private pockets. If the militants are truly fighting for nd cause, then pls show me one school or hospital they have built with all the money they siphoned from govt. Dont be naive. Blowing pipeline has nothing to do with nd development

Sir plz explain better to me about the bolded, the money borrowed and the stollen ones the said they have already recovered.
What money borrowed? From whom??
As for the stolen funds, I believe some of them are still subject of litigation and cant be spent. For others, I wld argue its at the discretion of the federal govt.

Projected funds means funds u hope to get. At the point of making and signing the budget, that money is not yet gotten. Anything can happen, civil war can erupt in china and the decline the loan, or international relatns can deteriorate. Oil dollars can completely dry up etc. Projected fund is based on prediction. Its not a certainty

Opposition is necessary to sustain real democracy. PATRIOTISM does not mean being conspicuously uninvolved and uninterested in what is going on around you. Since we know for a fact that APC and PDP are kint and kin it means you support evil whichever way you choose to look at it. Its wisdom to know just when to admit defeat and seek for help. And BTW if you've been praying for your dear country all these while, why are things getting worse rather than good? Abi prayer no dey work again?
Are u mocking prayers?? Be careful. The fact that u are even able to type this with internet and not languishing in a disgusting refugee camp is testament to prayers of Nigerians. They said our country will burn in 2015, but here we are in 2016 is alive and struggling.
