Politics › Re: Nigeria Is Now Ranked 33rd Biggest Economy Among Nations by blacksta(m): 8:21am On Mar 17, 2010 |
The World standard of measurement must be really be bad and low for a Nation like Nigeria with serious lack of infrastructure, high level of unemployment, poverty and corrupt government to be rated 33rd economy of the world. I am interested to know the parameters of this measurement. On a positive side it can also mean if we can generate adequate electricity then we truly can be number one - according to the measurement standards |

Big B1: Contesting for a presidential position in any nation in Africa is very simple. Once you have the following advantages on your side, sky is the limit. Nairalander can cry till the moon shines it will not matter.
And these are the avantages: 1. The complete support of the current adminstration/ president. 2. The full support of the USA.
. The priceless support of the UK 4. The 1000 percent support of Big B1.
Please make sure your vote count. What a dumb a ss - i never knew Americans and the English voted in Nigerian elections - Your day of reckoning is fast approaching |

kidonig: The Bomb squad chose to escourt the Governors rather than securing the area. The AIT presenter who is still interviewing people in site even picked up some of the remains of one of the shattered cars and no one stopped him.
My question is, why will they hold the meeting with the elders of the Niger Delta without involving the youths? The so called bomb squad would rather escort their daily bread than secure any location - Abeg this bomb squad which equipment them get sef |

Yes! an act of Government delinquency towards the provision of Basic infrastructure for the Nigeria people. The Presence of street lights in our highways would have averted and debared the allopatry of this lamentable event, This ploratus event, an event that has put the Nigeria people in a state of discombobulation.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AS MESSIAH. WHEN PEOPLE HAVE ENOUGH OF SUFFERING AND THERE IS NO WAY OUT, THEY WILL EVENTUALLY WORK OUT HOW TO SORT THINGS OUT. DESPERATE SITUATION CALLS FOR A DESPERATE SOLUTION AND NOT A MESSIAH.

I think you are jumping the gun - I am sure many here are fully aware of your anti religion stance . I suspect the poster was to referring to a leadership figure someone in the context of "Martin luther king " or " Ghandi " who will effectively mobilise the masses. Nigeria at the moment is dying for that kind of figure. |

BAC: Chei, This £ issue is become a real problem. I have promised myself not to short the market this year now I have been forced to do just that to leverage the movement of £££.
Is anyone there in the same position as me. This is one of the reason it is not good to have too much liquid. Big lesson, I should have shipped all the money to naija on my last visit and just buy land. Relax bro - btw 2008 October to Jan 2009 the pound was trading for N175 to a pound ( just wished i had plenty naira then ) according to Moneygram and it eventually recovered back to N247 Just hold on after the u.k elections things should be back to normal |
