Depending on "title type", milage (I assumed 96kmi), both NADA and KBB thinks you stole the car for $6k. That's a deal.

Here's one on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-Mitsubishi-Endeavor-4DR-LS-/160554390948?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2561c995a4#ht_4373wt_1167 for $8k
The above Car you listed is in Canada - Maybe the difference is the location

Check out this one it is going for $6500  -

Thank God - one does not revert to this thread to get balanced news

Libyan NTC fighters breach Gaddafi city Sirte from east

Anti-Gaddafi fighters have breached the former Libya leader's hometown of Sirte from the east for the first time, as their three-day long assault continues.

Soldiers traded rocket fire with Gaddafi loyalists as they edged from the eastern suburbs into the city.

The advance comes two days after the soldiers, loyal to the National Transitional Council, attacked from the west before retreating again.

Sirte is one of the last remaining strongholds of Gaddafi loyalists.

The BBC's Alastair Leithead, in Sirte, says civilians have been streaming out of the city - some of them were not aware that Tripoli had fallen.

Many of them were terrified, he says, having been told that rebel fighters would slit their throats if they ventured out of the city.

Our correspondent says the remaining civilians are in increasing danger, caught in the middle of intensifying fighting.

Gaddafi loyalists have been fiercely protecting the city from NTC advances in recent weeks.

Have u thought of where to get good mechanics for the Mitsubuishi Endeavor and spare parts? All these i know are not readibly available in Nigeria.
A research done a while back confirms that the parts are readily available we have some specialist mechanics in Nigeria - Although it will cost slightly more - Worst case scenario - if the parts are not available ( i will get it from abroad). I am praying that the CAR should last at least 4 years - before we get another one.

Just to update you guys.  I decided to chance it and go for 2004 Mistibushi Endeavor LS

On friday/Saturday just past, my guy in Orlando Florida bought me this attached suv for just roughly 6k dollars Inc taxes and already dropped off at sea port being prepared to be shipped probably tomorrow Monday 26/09.

Mother is already excited as the other suv was causing her too much mechanical issues.

I agree with the writer of this article. Mr Ghadaffi will soon return to his position, the one he resigned from in 1979, and rule for another 42 years. Then his seven sons will hold the position for 42 years each. Great write-up!

@ OP

I use a Mitsubishi Endeavor
Been using it for 1 year, 4 months now.
Only been to the lube bay for my oil and oil filter changes
Changed brake pads once

and changed the door handle when my security man climbed on it to wash the roof (felt like roasting his legs cheesy grin)

Guess what, it's a 3.6litre V6 engine.  Strong and very perfect for Nigerian roads because of it's ground clearance
Less people use it in Naija.  So expect heads to turn when you pass
You will perfectly enjoy it

Leave the story about parts.  Even if you cant buy parts in Naija, the world is a global village that u can get original parts from the US in a week

My Suggestion:
Mitsubishi Endeavor is a good buy.  I am enjoying mine!
Ok

Your comment has been noted - If cant find an alternative will stick to the Endeavor.  Looking again at the Endeavor - it definitely looks rugged and prepareD to tackle the Lagos roads.  Nowadays with all the flooding  - A low car is NO NO
