Nice and good response cool

If Soludo had presented his view without condemning any person and praising the disgraceful OBJ, he might have being called to help GEJ's government

Soludo and Oby Ekwesili are not wise political technocrats.

A wise political technocrat avoids taking side but present his views in an apolitical way in order to appear as a good tool in the hands of any politician whether ruling or opposition. cool

That the igbos ditched their own is not new and not a surprise, those that follows my posts will remember I said that one of the reason the igbos can never produce a president for this country is that it is in record that igbos does not support their own to fulfil a political ambition to a higher position, they prefers to be appointed into kitchen cabinet than to be at the fore front vying for a higher office. If another man from a different tribe vie for a governorship seat in any of the eastern states against other igbo indegene contestants that man will still win in that land. One thing with the igbos is that they don't trust the ability of their own to lead, they once followed Fulani and a Yoruba candidates and now an Ijaw man all at the expense of their own. I hail igbos, igbo kwenu.

ibos are supposed to be neutral, indifferent or on both sides. But by taking sides with someone who is promising you more than what the APC LASG has given you so far, you come around as ingrates, selfish and greedy.

See, I'm a full blooded Deltan and I'll gladly tell you that Jonathan has been using the North's mandate. Since you understand PDP so well, ask the ogas who bought you data to fight for them. Jonathan has been living on Umar Musa's Yar'Adua's mandate; one which made him sign a pact with PDP governors that he would ONLY run for just a term. We must be fair to all and above all, our lives and properties matter more than all other things. GEJ has been ineffective and it's obvious he has nothing else to offer. Way back in secondary school, when a class governor/captain is/becomes ineffective, a new one emerges without bad blood to take over from where the former left off. Let's all call a spade a spade and not an instrument for digging; the definition is longer and irrelevant.

I must commend Prof.Charles Soludo for such an exceptional epistle,i beg to differ in his submission on his overall assessment of the regime of Pres.GEJ,significant milestones were recorded in areas of agriculture,power and road construction and to say that the economic team is weak is quite degrading....The present economic team is and will remain the greatest convergence of great minds and achievers in various fields of endeavour.
What the professor did not tell us;
1) It was in the same regime he served that over 2 trillion Naira was spent on power without any considerable improvement
2) The Benin-Ore road was for close to a decade the worst nightmare for travellers
3) Millions of dollars were spent on TAM(Turn Around Maintenance) of Refineries without any justification for a satisfactory work done
4) Elections were manipulated and massive electoral fraud committed to favour the anointed candidate of the then president.
5) Huge funds were disbursed for the third term agenda which was truncated by our distinguished parliamentarians
