seankay: so between Nigeria and Brazil, who has d larger population? We can be as good as brazil but the problem is poor scouting, developing young talents, poor standard of our football league
Brazil has a bigger population than Nigeria. The poor scouting, developing young talents and standard of leagues you mentioned is just the same as the point I raised. I used the term "monkey post" to collectively describe all these substandards in our football.

yoji: South Americans learn under similar conditions but are still dominant so whats your point?
Apart from brazil which other South American team has been doing well over the years? Besides, Brazil has a huge population to pull talents from.
Sports / Is "Monkey Post" The Reason Why African Teams Perform Bad In World Cups? by Blackteeth(m): 11:47pm On Jun 30, 2014
I just keep wondering why African teams can't compete and beat most of these European teams. For God's sake this is football and not some high-tech stuff. If it is something that involves the use of advanced technology then we would understand that the reason is because African countries don't posses all the technological capabilities compared with the European nations. But football only involves skilfully kicking a round ball around, so what a hell is the reason why African teams can never do this better than these European teams?

Anyway, after some few minutes of thinking, the conclusion I arrived at points to the fact that these European players play with better facilities right from the early beginning. While they were starting up as kids they play in more standard football fields and they wear boots too. But down here in a place like Nigeria, our young footballers start with playing "monkey posts" in funny places that are not close to resembling a football field, and they play in bare legs without boots. They only time they start playing in better fields with boots is when they get into Enyimba, kano pillars and co. And soon they get drawn into the super eagles team. Meanwhile our European counterparts have long mastered the standard fields and boots as kids.

Thats my opinion.

Romance / Re: Why Sex Should Wait Until Marriage by Blackteeth(m): 4:56pm On Dec 21, 2013
If actually you are SERIOUS about marrying the person I don't support sex waiting till marriage because sex is a very important part in a marriage that if something goes wrong about it the whole marriage will definitely collapse. Its better you check things out to avoid eventual frustration.
Maybe you should specifically say sex should be avoided with someone you don't intend to marry. That's understandable.

Na wa o, I hate to think you are educated, including your fellow supporters.

Have you heard of Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockerfeller, J.P. Morgan? You definitely do not know them and probably never would, if I had....

I hate that I'm even dignifying you and this thread with a reply. Such miserable, poor, dull-headed fools on this forum.
noblezone:

If your assertion is true, then the whiteman would never had met any man in Biafra land.
Let me announce to you, we live a communal life style and we are going back to our ways of life before the mischief maker called Lord Luggard came to murder sleep from our eyes!

In fact let me put this way for you guys to understand.
The Nigerian system has already corrupted the minds of Igbos as well as other tribes in Nigeria. Assuming there was no colonization and forced marriage into Nigeria it would have been a different situation. Nigeria has impacted the mindset of igbos therefore when they depart from Nigeria they would carry the Nigerian "bad" traits along with them to Biafra land. The election drama, power tussles, incompetence and corruption will still crop up.
Igbos are already distinguishing themselves as ANAMBRA MAN, ENUGU MAN, ABIA MAN. Sometimes you even hear igbos saying Anambra men are wicked, Enugu men are selfish etc. This is an obvious sign of intra-ethnic battles awaiting Biafra. Same battles that igbos are engulfed in with the Hausas and Yorubas.
I hope you realize that there are no POWERFUL figures in Igbo land that igbos listen to. And this would make it very hard for igbos to agree on who leads them giving rise to serious divisions. Ojukwu was the only powerful figure that igbos were listening to, but he is gone. Even MASSOB already has different factions. Doesn't this show a sign?
Politics / Re: Please When Is Biafra Republic Going To Be Officially Declared ??? ;d by Blackteeth(m): 3:31pm On Dec 07, 2013
I firmly believe that if Biafra should become a reality it would not be as rosy as igbos are deceived to believe. Once their Hausa and Yoruba enemies are no more on their backs it would be time to turn against each other in bid to out- smart each other to gain that wealth they crave so much.
Igbos should thank Yorubas and Hausas for diverting their attention and keeping them united.

Way after that, open your mind and read.

Colonisation in Africa?

Manifest destiny?

The Ku Klux Klan?

The Nazis? Hello, those are just a few there are so many others bro

Were these really carried out against Muslims? I don't think so. We are talking about violence between Islam and christians. isn't it?

Fulaman198:

Then hold Christians accountable for the same thing and please don't be hypocritical.

The last time Christians adopted the violent approach was during the crusades. Christians have long dropped that approach many centuries ago. The bad feeling that Christians have towards Muslims today is caused by the fact that "some" Muslims are still using the violent approach to push the religion. Can you tell me a single place on earth where Christians attacked the Moslems without first being attacked by Muslims? Tell me please. If your extremist brothers were not killing in the name of Allah I bet no christian would be hating Islam today.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Is Islam The Most Discriminated Religion In The World? by Blackteeth(m): 6:09pm On Nov 29, 2013
Fulaman198:

Don't say that please, that's completely untrue. There have been many Muslims who speak out against evil acts created by terrorist groups, either their voice goes unheard or bigots like you are in denial that they don't speak out. You know, you could do a simple Google search to absolve your question
Islamic extremism is fueled by what is written in the Koran suggesting Muslims to conquer and islamize the world in addition to the violent messages given by some imams. Why can't you "2 billion good Muslims" edit those violet jihad terms in the koran that fuels extremism?

But let me ask this: what are the so called good Muslims doing about their extremist brothers who kill "in the name of Allah"? Definitely nothing! They just relax and allow them destroy people and even sympathize with them. Good Muslims should get rid of their extremist brothers and the discrimination will be over. As long as this doesn't happen I will continue to hate Islam.

Please you guys should use your brains for once for Christ's sake. Most of you do not know how the search engine does its job. Take for instance the search phrase: "when will I die?" This is not actually what someone searched for, Rather it is a title of certain article on the internet. If you click on the search phrase Google will take you straight to the article. Google does not show you what others are searching for. It shows you titles and phrases of articles and questions asked on websites.
