carefreewannabe: Some men are really scared of womenOf course men should be scared. If powerless women have destroying men right from Adam and Eve what do you think will happen when women become powerful? Strenght of a woman quadrupled. |
Mondisweets: a male with mondiSWEETS as a monikerCommon... Its 100% possible in a faceless forum like Nairaland! |
Mondisweets: Why not?I don't know what to reply you cos I can't figure out if you are male or female. ![]() |
If Nigerian ladies must given more opportunities then more men would definitely have to be denied opportunities to achieve that. But the question men should ask themselves is, should Nigerian women be trusted with much wealth and power at their disposal? This question should come up considering the fact that even when Nigerian ladies are less empowered and kept under men, they still have the guts challenge and insult men. So what would happen when Nigerian ladies are wielding too much power? Most women do not feel the impact of not given opportunities cos men are very generous. Some ladies are earning monthly salary just dating a guy. But when it comes to ladies, I personally believe ladies are stingy compared to men's generosity cos even when ladies have something they would hardly given men anything. Instead the make sure they take a man's last coin. This simply translates to more of guys going hungry. ![]() Guys can we trust ladies? |
Nonso23: If the person is already married then it's "for better, for worse"I didn't have marriage in mind. But when it comes to marriage, I don't believe in "for better for worse". Marriage should not be a trap if things are not going on well. Whats the point being in a marriage when things are in total shambles? Save yourself from unnecessary suffering whenever you can please. |
Love is really hard to find, so most of us end up attaching ourselves with anything to manage and keep company. At times some of us ask this: DOES LOVE TRULY EXIST? The answer is YES but it is very difficult to find. When something is difficult to find it appears like it doesn't exist at all. Since love is hard to find and our irresistible desires and loneliness keeps haunting us, are we gonna keep remaining single and searching for enternity without any guaranty that you will ever love in your lifetime? What if someone had searched for years, found no love and decides to manage what is available then eventually love showed up? Will you advice the person to remain faithful in the managed relationship or to purse his/her full happiness by going for the true love which may never appear again in his/her lifetime? What if your guy or girl tells you "I have found my true love. I am leaving you" ? What would you do? |
Definition of 'Private Sector' The part of the economy that is not state controlled, and is run by individuals and companies for profit. The private sector encompasses all for-profit businesses that are not owned or operated by the government. Companies and corporations that are government run are part of what is known as the public sector, while charities and other nonprofit organizations are part of the voluntary sector. Investopedia explains 'Private Sector' In most free-market economies, the private sector is the sector where most jobs are held. This differs from countries where the government exerts considerable power over the economy, like in the People's Republic of China. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/private-sector.asp ************************************* From the piece above, the question I want to ask is: since the private sector is made up of individuals, where would these individuals get the funds to run companies and create jobs since these individuals are unemployed? What if the government does the running since the government has all the resources far exceeding what the unemployed private sector has? |
i_laugh: that;s the job of the private sector. But what will happen if the government does it? |
This question may sound dumb cos I am not interested in politics or government affairs, so I have little knowledge on how government things work. The government is sitting on idle billions most times. So why can't these surplus billions be used in establishing some industries to absorb the massive numbers of unemployed folks out there? |
The truth is that even if BlackBerry decides not to make the bbm cross platform they would still lose market share cos bbm alone cannot stop people from leaving the BlackBerry device. So why not make everyone happy by making it cross platform? |
Seems like Nigeria is still better than some places. Our tribalism no reach this level abeg. |
Saying that white people should manage things for us is a clear admission that blacks are monkeys. So why get upset when you are called monkeys? what a shameful statement. |
What kind of topics are making front page these? |
I think it has to do with the browser. All browsers don't render pages the same way. @OP which version of Firefox are you browsing with? |
Dalu uzor: hello pals,Out of the numerous puzzles on earth this is what someone spent his time thinking about. That's how Nigeria would land a man on the moon. |
Its only in Nigeria where a guy MUST be older than a lady before the lady dates him. Its only in Nigeria where age is an issue in a relationship. That part of the world really sucks. |
A lot of guys do complain that most girls do not call them on phone in spite of the loads of airtime credit they beg and get from different sources. Most girls say they hate stingy guys, but after considering some of my experiences with them I must say most girls are really guilty of high-degree stinginess. Some years ago calls were expensive, but these days the call rates have crashed down to very affordable rates. In spite of the crashed call rates most girls find it very hard to call guys. On a given day a girl can recieve N3000 worth of airtime and still tell guys they don't have airtime to call. So what I want to find out here is, who do girls mostly call on phone with their loads of donated credit? Is it their parents, female friends or a certain super special guy? |
As a guy, you were chatting with a girl. The only replies she gives you is "K". She never asked you any questions or made a full sentence. Then finally she was able to make a full sentence for the first time, and here is the sentence: "Pls can you send me card?" To me this is the most annoying thing a girl am chatting with can do. I lose my respect for a girl when she asks that question. Even when she chats well and eventually brings up the question, I still get irritated cos I feel she has been chatting with a motive of getting a card from me. I have chatted with several girls and 90% of them are guilty of this. The funny thing is that due to the irritation I politely reject their demands, and after that the girls would refuse talking to me anymore. Are girls really chatting as a means to beg for card? Guys how do you react and handle it when girls you chat with online are requesting for cards? |
Pretending to be fighting for the people abi? |

Does this Guy's hair grow at all? |

Read wetin? When the length of the thing is very long they come carry high dose English put am on top. |
Abeg lets be sincere for once. Oyibo beggers and naija beggars no dey the same class. Oyibo beggers get swag, they are clean and dont even appear like beggars, therefore it would be easier associating with them. But naija beggars always look unkempt, dirty and repelling. Simple. |
Why is the OP revealing secrets na? If everyone knows the secret and joins the ship, it will get overloaded and eventually sink and you who revealed the secret may die. Everybody must not succeed. Your success is due to the fact that some other person has failed. |
So this is what girls hide with trousers eh? |
Let African culture die!! Is it not the culture that Africans are practising that made them underdeveloped with poverty, disease and hunger? |
Solution oooo |
Am not a big fan of rap music but I think I prefer rap performed in native languages like igbo or yoruba. They just sound sweet in my ears. I only understand igbo language and each time I listen to rap in igbo I just keep laughing even when the lines are not too funny. Do you enjoy Naija rap perfomed in english language more than igbo or yoruba rap or the other way round? |
Atheists believe that everything in existence emerged by chance, but there is a problem with this belief. There are over a thousand non man-made things in existence that are cleverly designed. So how would a thousand different cleverly and separately made things emerge my luck? This is same as saying you can throw a dice 1000 times and get a number 6 in all 1000 throws. So Atheists in the house, is it possible to throw a dice 1000 times and get a six in all 1000 throws? Does luck work this way? |
This is a welcome development. How does getting married affect the perfomance of a priest discharging his duties? If presidents who are very busy can live a married life then why cant priests? Priests are not even busy people in the real sense of the word. The decision by the catholic church to ban priests from getting married doesnt make any sense at all. |
