imurboss: Thanks diamondloVe,Doc called me yesterday and told me that today will make it 10days after my EDD that I should report myself to be induced,but myself n hubby have agreed not to go till say tomorrow or next cos I believe my labour will come naturally,besides I was given different EDD don't even know which to follow,last scan I did gave 14jul+-.I believe only God has the final say about my situation.You are taking unneccessary risks. The reason why doctors induce is for the safety of the child. There is a first poo called mecunioum that babies poo. Usually, it is after the baby is born. If the pregnancy stays longer, the possibility of the baby pooing it in the womb increases. If this happens, the baby will die (if he should ingest it). Your doctor is being safe. If anything happens to the baby (God forbid), you will blame yourself. I always prefer for the baby to come out before EDD than take the risks you are taking. You can google meconium aspiration syndrome. |

I eat only indomie but my son loves that honeywell advert. He can barely talk but he says bam ba la la very well and even tries to get their dance. However, the advert drives my husband crazy! lol. |

Where i am from, the man provides the money, while the bride's family uses it to do the party/reception. Sometimes, the bride's family is nice and takes up more responsibilities but its not compulsory. 2 Likes |

You deposit money monthly for a specified period of time and then at the end, they return your money with a stated interest amount. If the holder shld die or become incapacitated during that period, the insurance company pays a stated amount or percentage to his next of kin as well as the amount plus interest. |

Relax. When people say school, it is actually creche or playgroup. Most schools admit children into reception or pre-nursery from 3 years of age. Any other one is just playgroup where they eat, play, dance, listen to music and sleep to their heart's content. Have you ever heard of "ota akara"? Its just a way of saying that you are sending your kid to school to eat akara! i.e creche. 13 Likes |

Being smart has nothing to do with reading books. Definition of smart: a) having or showing quick intelligence or ready mental capability: a smart student. b) shrewd or sharp, as a person in dealing with others or as in business dealings: a smart businessman. c) clever, witty, or readily effective, as a speaker, speech, rejoinder, etc. Your question was how to get rich and not how to get money. Lottery usually asks for small money. |

We are made to work long hours and it is expected that you close late. No one cares that you are pregnant, nursing a baby, newly married, etc. In fact, they wanted to officially increase the time nursing mothers close. Thank God that proposal was shot down. You have to beg to go on leave. Leave that will expire after year end o, they will say that you can only take one week off and the rest will lapse. Sometimes, you do not go on leave at all. |

Please, it is good to counteract wrong teachings. I was also told that was the best way to get babies to eat. My mum was not in support but i heard from so many people that i felt it was okay. The day he almost choked to death was an eye opener for me. I cried and cried and cried. The very next day, i read this story that u put up in the link and just gave thanks to God for His mercies. It is a very dangerous practice. Do not try to force feed. Like i learnt, they will eventually eat cos they won't want to starve themselves. My son was exclusive for 6 months and i breastfed him for a year. Initially, it was a struggle for him to eat solids, now he eats every single thing and will fight you for your plate of food. He only eats golden morn in the mornings. 2 Likes |
