Congrats Maran and Agiboma. |
I know a branch where they had to fire the ATM IT person for fraud. He structured it in such a way that the ATM pays one or two notes short. Don't want to mention the bank but its a new generation bank. They were getting some complaints not a lot cos people don't always count their money. One day, a manager used that particular ATM and was 2 notes short. He insisted that they dig deep and they found out the scam. God knows how long it has been on for. |
I don't believe this story at all. Its d details that are not adding up. First, Raymond says he was given just 1 blackberry phone and N6,000. Then, Abdullahi says he bought 3 blackberry phones from Raymond. The total nos of blackberries stolen were 4 yet more than 4 blackberries r being distributed. There are other such inconsistencies. Don't have time to type them out. I just don't believe it. See the paltry sum of money thay are talking about. |
ayobarmy: Mummies pls can i give my 3months old baby boy, water? If yes what can i add to the water that will help him grow well and big. ThanksIf he is on exclusive, then no need for water. If he has started taking bottled milk, please give him water so that he does not have constipation. |
I had a good friend when we were in uni. The girl would read and read and read. She was very social and all that but after hours, she would hide herself away and read. She was very active in class, etc. etc. However, when results came out she would get C's and D's while I was getting A's and B's. One day, she broke down in tears and was asking what she was doing wrong? Even questions that were repeated and we had studied it and knew the answers; she would still get low scores. We finally discovered that it was the way she answered the questions. She knew the answers but the way she wrote them down would always hide her point (not talking about her grammar - she had a good grasp of it). Going forward, as part of her studying program, she would write out her answers to questions and we would discuss it to see how to better improve it. From there, she started getting good results. The point of this long story is that the reason you're not doing well could be something like that or maybe you just do not understand what you read though you think you do. Asking for help is not a bad thing. Meet someone who is doing well and u guys could try and find out what is happening. |
It comes with a manual so u can find out how to use it. But just a quick one; To connect: It has a pipe that you can connect to a source of water supply or u can just pour in water whenever you want to use. Washing is pretty straightforward. To use the rinser/dryer, u will need to set one plastic thingy that comes with it in the center of the clothes so that it can work well. Without it or not properly fixed, it will make a loud noise and shake so hard you will have to use it. The trick is in getting that plastic to be in the center. After a while, u get the hang of it. |
It depends on how your school calculates he CGPA. In my school, it was 25% for each year. In my school with your current GP, you will have to struggle to make a 2:1. A poster spoke about his school with 5%, 15%, 25% and 55%. With ur current GP, u can make it as 1st year is quite low. FInd out how your school calculates their own. My advice is to read hard and then read with people that have shown that they are doing well. Study with them, solve past questions, ask others in higher years what kind of question to expect. Do not be discouraged. Things can still happen. |
kennyGGG: Hello Blank: well mine is not UK pardon the fact I am in a UK forum. Truth is I have gotten answer to most of my questions here. The issue at hand presently is I don't have the luxury of time to make my submission. If I liquidate the fund into my account at maturity period, I will have just 3weeks left before submission deadline. Do you think leaving it for 3weeks is fair enough?I can only speak from experience and my experience is with UK student visa. |
I didn't have light in my area of Lekki for a month. They just restored it and it is never there during the day so I have to run my gen for my son. Maybe, they have taken my light and given to you. I |
@Jummy4real, can u ask your husband to also do tests? Cos it looks like you are fine. B4 u do any procedure from this doctor, can u get a second opinion? |
Take her to d hospital. This is the season for malaria, pneumonia and colds. She might need Amoxil (antibiotics) and a cough syrup. As for malaria, u can use lonart. But before self medicating, take her to the hospital so they can run tests. |
He should go to a dentist for scaling and polishing of his teeth. |
Also, u can use a topical antifungal cream. |
I use it. I also use it with my gen when I am really desperate. (Gen is 3.5kva I think). It is ok. Its not like the normal front loader that u can just push buttons and the clothes will wash, rinse and dry. My main problem with it is to get the plastic thingy inside to set properly before the clothes can rinse or dry. It takes patience to get it right. |
Congrats. I luv hearing such stories. |
Huggies giga is 7000naira for a carton and Johnson wipes is 400naira per packet. |
kennyGGG: Thanks blank, that is kind of you. Is there anything like mandatory period money liquidated into an account must remain there? I intend liquidating mine the week of printing out the statement because I have collected the interest on the deposit even before the tenor elapsed which is 3months and I rolled over for another 1month.You must submit it except the passport was stolen or lost, then you have to present proof to back up your claims. When i was applying, there was a minimum period of 3 months. Don't know the requirement now. You are welcome. |
lalaboi: Nne. . . you cant hack in the carling cup either. . Make we bet?No go find ya mate. In fact, u were the nos 1 sadist. ![]() |
Also wanted to add that you cannot leave it as a fixed deposit and present that cos it would mean that the money is not available for you to use. (That was the advice i got from PFL). |
kennyGGG: In a case I have money in FD like I do, what should I do to show that since all my bank gave me is an FD certificate. I thought I could move the cash to my regular account and use the cert as evidence. You can liquidate it and keep it for the mandatory period (don't know if the 3 months still apply abi na 1 month). I did exactly the same thing. I liquidated my fd into my savings account and kept it for 2 months plus before i applied and i got my visa. U can include the certificate (can't remember if i included mine). |
Thanks. Now we r in business. Make i see if i fit Last year was tough with all the sadists wey dey ground. |
Muki, It seems like i am in the FA cup. Please can you send the codes for the Carling cup let me delete myself sharp sharp from the FA cup. The FA cup is full of sadists. ![]() |
Its been a while i went clubbing but i think it is still essentially the same thing. Won't there be people smoking thus you and your baby will be inhaling second hand smoke? Also, wont the loud music make your baby uncomfortable? I am more interested in the second hand smoke. I don't think its very healthy. |
