Properties › Re: How Is Your Landlord Treating You by blank(f): 11:40am On Jun 02, 2012
yogun: House search made up end up in dis hse After paying the rent, landlord said he wasn't going to do any repair in the hse. We said fine & renovate from floor, kitchen floor and cabinet, toilet, rooms & bathroom.

One year & six mths after, landlord came & said he need some money, so he'll like to sell the place. We can afford buying it at the time. So he kept pestering us even when our rent was not due. 1yr & nine mth, we paid for anoda 2yrs rents just to stop him from disturbing us. He collected it gladly & some wks later he knocked on the door & thinking he was coming around as usual, not knowing he came along with another person & the next thing he said was "this is the property".
This Landlord is ɑ̈ pastor as he has claimed & from all indications he has sold the property to another fellow forgetting that we spent our hard-earned money to make that apartment habitable.
Fingers crossed but God will not fail to judge dis fellow
In thins kinda situation, I can be mean o. I won't move an inch until he pays my money back and then I will take everything I put in that house even if it is to throw it away and burn it. I will leave that house as close to the state I rented it initially.

Banker of the year? hmmm.
That was what they gave Bunmi Oni they year before the Cadbury fraud was discovered.
That was what they gave Cecilia Ibru before she was arrested for embezzlement.

Have you wondered why mid to top management are leaving in droves since he took over?

Do some research and find out.

Toyosi R: Hello all.

I av a question as a first-time to-be mom.
I have registered in a general hospital since march and visited the docs once without any issue/negative response. But my probs now is that

I will like to know if there is any-thing or any test or scan to do at this stage

since i cant visit the hospital as the doctors are on strike.

Please, I am just 23 weeks.

Thanks
At about 9 weeks, they should have done the first scan then at 20 weeks the 2nd scan. They shld av done blood tests, etc. Make sure u get ur tetanus shots and ur anti- malaria. No major tests till u put 2 bed.

(excluding roads and streets).

See the bolded ma!
Have we said different things?

Was he not having a private entertainment in his compound?
Anyways, they also made provision for merriment in public places in case he wants to claim that the compound is a public place.

aguiyi: welcome to Nigeria, the land of the suffering and smiling.Anyway, its the local govt source of revenue (talk of double taxation, thats another issue).
I have a demand notice on my table as i write this ,its from the Rivers state ministry of health. they need to test the water from our borehole to see if its clean enough for drinking.
the fee is 30k (a borehole we dug by ourselve without govt help or assistance huh huh) and its non negotiable except you are paying cash grin grin
If you don't pay, what is the worst they will do? Come and block your borehole?

In Lagos, I shop at Strictlybabes in Lekki 1 and MollyPlus in Ikota Shopping Complex. There is also House of Ella in Aguda, Surulere. They all have very nice and stylish things. Strictly babes has a website in which you can order online and delivery is N300 to wherever you are. MollyPlus and House of Ella both have facebook pages.

But i always wonder why maternity clothes are so expensive.

indigene: Your case seems to be what many women re told when they have many failed pregnancies, complete bed rest. don't stress this, don't stress that. That you cook, or do a little work in the house will not remove your pregnancy.
Your age will determine they likelihood of full pregnancy, staying with your mom ain't a guaranty.
Get out of your mom home and be useful, in yours.
I am a man , and i am speaking from experience, my wife underwent several miscarriges, i have to tell you that this situation is quite common
There are available information overt the net, trusted site like webmd, cnnhealth etc
There are situations in which the person has to have complete bedrest irrespective of her age e.g pre-eclampsia which i suspect is what the poster has. With that, she can't stress herself at all as she needs to manage her bp. Some hospitals even keep the person in the hospital till she delivers. Ur suggestion might just not be feasible.
