Was it the Northerners that were killing twins in Opobo?
We all had our ethnic specialties right?
Of course they were the most peaceful then, despite the sectarian unrests in their regions. . . just like they still are in present day Nigeria.
Yet you Igbos still live and work there to this day right?
Yes, there are unrests here and there once in a while. . . like you have your armed bandits, kidnappers and ritualists all over the Southern parts of Nigeria.
Why do these same Northerners not cause the same problems in the Southern parts of Nigeria huh?

At least the Northerners did not commit any form of treason on the whole of Nigeria like the Igbos who showed them the way. . . Nigeria has never been the same. Then came coup after coup after coup till now.

There were riots against both westerners and easterners in the north as far back as the 50s and possibly even before that.Check your history. Anyway, like i said,

"Look no civilians are to blame for the wars. The blame should be but on no one but the governmental body which included Nigerian army and officials(which included biafrans) before the war broke out plus Britain. It is solely their fault. Accept it and leave it alone."
So, riots in the North as far back as in the 50's caused the Nigerian civil war? undecided
We still have the riots till today not so?
What has changed?

Of course no civilians were to blame for the war. . .but what did you expect?
The Igbos within the Nigerian army started all that BS.
Why did you not include the Northerners if your intentions were noble huh?

Sorry dude. I don't care about your riots in the North. . .which were purely as a result of the total breakdown of law and order in the overall Nigerian psyche.

What we are talking about here is the treason orchestrated and perpetrated by the Igbos against the integrity of Nigeria on account of their own selfish desires. At least the Northerners carried out their mayhem in their own territories. . . why did you not retaliate on the Northerners in your on Western and Eastern territories? Instead of plunging the whole Nigerian state into confusion with your rettarded haphazard plans?
PoliticsRe: Why Blame The North And West For Biafra by Blazay(m): 9:09pm On Dec 17, 2010
Please, be truthful.
Igbos and Biafra SOLELY set the tone of distrust and acrimony in Nigerian history by preempting the first civil war in Nigerian history.
Subsequently, their oafish arrogance cannot let other Nigerians forget the insult.

Prior to the Nigerian civil war, the Northerners were peaceful creatures till the Igbos reared their greedy, ugly yam-like heads.
Till today, all they go about doing is beating their retarded chests to be this and that.
Useless, cold blooded killers.
Now we have a place like Abia state with Aba as the headquarters of Kidnapping ventures according to your own Igbo sister Dr. Okonjo-Iwaela.
After shedding all that useless Biafra blood as rejected Osu sacrifices on behalf of Nigeria.

They should not blame anyone but themselves for the innocent Igbos that were killed on behalf of their stoopid actions that all started in 1966.

If they were so noble in their intentions, why did they not let the Northerners in, if indeed they wanted to cleanse Nigeria of corruption?
PoliticsRe: ( I’m Ready For Arrest, Says Former Vp)president: Atiku’s Statement Treasonable by Blazay(m): 9:01pm On Dec 17, 2010
Atiku recalled that a serving federal minister in the present administration once threatened that Nigeria could face dire consequences if President Jonathan was forced out of the presidential race.

He wondered how a president that “tore the PDP apart and caused so much bitterness within his own ruling party because of his ill-advised ambition could turn round and accuse anyone else of causing tension”.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aburi_Accord

Aburi Accord was reached 1967 at a meeting attended by delegates of both the Federal Government of Nigeria (The supreme Military Council) and the Eastern delegates, led by the soon-to-become-rebel leader Colonel Ojukwu. The meeting was billed to be the last chance of preventing out-and-out war[1]. It was held between 4 and 5 January 1967.

Aburi as venue
Aburi, Accra Ghana was chosen as a venue because the eastern delegates led by the Governor of Eastern State Colonel Ojukwu's safety could not be guaranteed anywhere within in the western or northern part of the country[2].

Forget it. Heaven will not fall. I see you are desperately trying to intimidate people here.

wrong. the Yorubas are not irrelevant in the coming "selection". In fact we are bringing our true representatives this time around

OBJ was not the architect  of the mess we are currently in. It is your pay masters. OBJ is just paying you back in your own coin.
Since, Nigerian politics is all about 'paying back in coins' and not the affairs of the people. . . get ready to receive your own payback. cheesy

How can someone who was snatched from jail to replace Abiola be talking of paying back in whatever coin? undecided Please, OBJ and Yoruba peeps have nothing to complain about and be thankful he did not end up like Yaradua Sr. What the heck are you yapping about? Recognize your Yoruba tout whom you are sooooo ashamed to associate with is a failure to Nigeria and that GEJ is the unproductive residue from the OBJ-Yaradua army arrangement. Yes, the Yorubas are grossly irrelevant in this coming future of the next Nigerian president or dictator. You had 8 year under OBJ. . .and with all your gbese billionaires. . . Yoruba land remains the wild-wild west. . . See what Buhari did in the North with all the road network in so short a time. Sorry, you only stand for one thing. . . lack of progress and the utmost selfishness. You will even kill your own brothers like Bola Ige and you claim to be better than the Northerners.

OBJ is the so-called first civilian president of the Nigerian nascent democracy. . . you still want us to go back to the military era of which he was an active part too? No, without re-writing history. . .we are talking of democratic Nigeria of which OBJ wasted a good 8 years with his lack of progressive intelligence. The only legacy he left behind was political chaos to protect himself. A disgrace to the so-called Nigerian democracy. But with a fetish and cursed soul as his, what would anyone else question?

Olaolufred:
Case is becoming more clear as cogent points are converging into the focal point.

Atiku needed to die.

If Martin preached peacefull disobedient and died in the 60s,

Atiku, who preached violence should die. I think faster.

Because he is not fit to lead. He Isn't a leader, but a ruler like his greatest ally and foe, OBJ.

These men(OBJ,IBB,ATK) deserved being buried alife for their atrocities against humanity.
Stop displaying the usual level of illiteracy displayed by a typical Southern propagandist. Atiku did not preach violence. He only said violence was inevitable because the real Nigerians(not you over-fed, randy, jobless, Face Book/cyber romanticists and idle loafers) were being pushed to the brink with all the political crimes against humanity perpertrated the OBJ cabal in Nigeria. If he needed to die, why don't you gerrof the net and do him the honors? IBB is swaggering all over Nigeria looking younger than yourself and you are here making making semantic fumbles.

If Atiku is not fit to lead, pray tell me what indications your GEJ has shown so far to warrant such confidence in him? Knowing all too well he is just a puppet behind the strings. I have bad news for you. GEJ is not his own man and definitely is under OBJ's thumb. The whole world knows that GEJ represents OBJ and as a result could definitely not hold a candle up to Atiku who is clearly his own person. What did you expect him to do under OBJ as the sitting duck VP of Nigeria? He tried to expose OBJ who tried to get rid of him because of his presidential ambition. . .as the old goat tried his luck for yet a third term.

OBJ/IBB/ATK and all the others from your state ALL need to be buried alive. Including your ALL ministers and governors from your home state. Why choose just OBJ/IBB/ATK?

For ATK standing up to OBJ. . . he is my pick anyday and a fit leader who recognizes that it is time to do something. I am willing to pick him over Jonathan the circus clown.

Of course, I don't expect you to understand these things. . .you have a whole lot to lose if GEJ loses.

Why we invited US experts to train ex-Niger Delta militants –FG
By UCHE USIM

Monday, June 28, 2010
Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Timi Alaibe has said the government opted to use experts from the United States Centre for Non-Violence and Peace Studies to help rehabilitate the once restive Niger Delta youths because America has one of the best hands in such field.

MEND

Alaibe listed the benefits of the post-amnesty programmes to include renewed peace in the region, a better perception and improved investment climate in the Niger Delta region and erasing the negative image of the country, which portrays it as haven of kidnapping and killing of expatriates.
Speaking at the weekend in Lagos, Alaibe stated that the US experts numbering about 24 would help train about 20,000 militants in Obubra, Cross River State starting from today in line with the post-amnesty programme of the government.
“We are going to take the ex- militants in batches of 2,000, starting from today. The programme, non-violence transformation, will last for two weeks. Within the period, we will document them properly, there will be biometric wellness test, guidance and counselling, peace and conflict resolution classes and reintegration classification. This is not the end, rather the beginning of a long journey.
If you are an ex- combatant, used to drugs, used to firing guns, and all of a sudden, you find yourself in a class of no-violence, it will take a whole lot of reorganization,” he stated. The ex-combatants, he said, would be reintroduced into the society once their training was completed to help deliver socio-economic dividends to the region and the nation as a whole.
Alaibe also said that peace in the region would guarantee increase in the level of crude oil production from the current 2.3 million barrels daily to about four or five million barrels per day. This, he explained, would have direct positive impact in foreign exchange earnings for the country as well as fast track developments in the area.
“The first phase is to clean up for the purpose of reintegrating the hitherto violent psyche, behaviour, activities, and is now converted to civil behaviour. The programme has been restructured, the strategy has changed, priorities have been reordered; this is why we have the team form the United States of America.
“Those are key in this programme. It has ensured that today, there is tranquility in the Niger Delta region; can you still hear of breaking of pipelines, blowing up of oil installations. Have you forgotten that the oil production of 700,000 barrels per day, when we concluded the amnesty granting, it came up to 2.3 millions per day.
“This country is looking forward to four to five million barrels per, after all the training processes for ex- militants are concluded. This is just the software aspect of the post-amnesty programme, meaning the individuals who form the core of the system.
The hardware aspect or component of the post-amnesty programme is that concomitant projects and programmes will be happening in the region; as people say, the machines will continue to work. The grandiose project that the Federal Government is implementing will start happening.”
Also speaking, the United States-based Centre for Non-Violence and Peace Studies Consultant, Bernand Lafayette, said: “This is not simply taking people through some exercises. What we are talking about is keying into non-violence. “This exercise is different, because we are talking about transformation not sharing a little more information, and the difference is that we have to first understand why people resort to violence. Studies have shown that the transformation of ex-militants has accelerated the socio- economic fortunes of other countries of the world.”

Leave Ekiti out of this.

Is Ekiti the only state you know in Yorubaland?
Ekiti is the worst state in Nigeria. Even worse than Zamfara state. Look at the representatives on NL for example. Highly M0r0nic. I blame malnutrition and other environmental challenges and insults on your collective psyche.
