The last time I checked, Obj is from the South West, and he dealt with your Northern Mafia. The North still need more years to recover from obj blows. grin

The only thing is that PDP should have left SW with Obj's exit. And we are enforcing that now.
The same Northern mafia who spared his stinking, jiggling, agidi-filled, chronic, jedi-jedi-infested behind from jail?
Atiku was right after all.

Who cares?

And what has South-west got to do with this? Abeg free us jor!

The west is presently not interested in Atiku, Jonathan or who becomes whoever's running mate in PDP.

Presently, what is going on the West is 'OPERATION KICK OUT PDP FROM THE WEST' Which by the grace of God and the strong will of the S.W people, will be concluded by May 2011 when we'll finally kick out the last 2 PDP Nuisances in Ogun and Oyo. And after May 2011 we bigging the campaign for a True Federalism.

Lol This is I gotta admit that many Northerners are more intelligent than Easterners. The North knows VP position is useless to them hence they keep insisting on having their run while we have Easterners having o.garsm @ the mere thought that one of their own might be a "powerless" VP to a northerner in hopes that Atiku a northerner will relinquish power to the Igbo man in 2015. Even Atiku picks my own father sef, I will and I repeat, WILL NOT vote for him coz I know VP position is useless. The core aint worried about being anyones VP so why is SE foolishly worryin about it? What did Ekwueme or Ebitu Ukiwe's VP position do for Ndi-Igbo? Nada.
Hahahahaha

While this is a possibility,  Ndi-Igbo do NOT have a choice but to take that risk.
The South-South and the North took that chance with OBJ and he pressed fora Third Term even after 2 terms.
Hopefully, the Ndi-Igbo VP would have infiltrated the system like Atiku did with OBJ, to get the power/political clout to upstage the efforts of Atiku if he decide to go back on his word and do the second term agenda(which I doubt, for the Northeners have more scruples than the Southerners).

Atiku was able to stop OBJ with the help of the other parts of Nigeria. I believe Ndi-Igbo can do that with the help of a seasoned politician. That man is Nnamani, not Soludo.
Soludo needs to be postioned in a key financial position in the Nigerian government enough to enrich the Ndi-Igbos sufficiently within the next four years to control the electorate. . .with their own "Jega" in place. A disadvantage to GEJ right now, since GEJ has no autonomy outside of OBJ. Only an Atiku-Nnamani ticket can deal with the GEJ/OBJ ticket for Nnamani can check Atiku effectively in Aso Rock. Soludo does not have that experience. He needs at least another 4 years.

Atiku has done his homework during the 8 years with OBJ.

Impossible. Due to the zoning agreement of the powers that be in Nigerian politics.

McKren:
That is a very simplistic way to choose a leader.

Nnamani may have held a political office while Soludo is yet to. But trust me Soludo is the better politician.
Do not judge mastery of politics on who wins and who does not. Ken Nnamani in Soludo's situation would not even would have been able to upstage the Uba brothers let alone running against Obi.
Soludo is an economist, not a politician. Big difference.
Ken Nnamani is a politician. A savvy one at that.
Ken Nnamani can pave the way for Soludo as the next president of Nigeria come 2015.

I would rather see Soludo as a President than a sitting duck VP.
Let him keep managing the economy in whatever capacity he can.
Nigeria needs him there more than with a redundant VP portfolio.

igbobuigbo:
I think ATIKU is formidable enough a politician to hold the political forte while Soludo handles the economy. It is redundant having Atiku and Nnamani.
Of what use is Soludo as a VP if you want someone to handle the economy? Is the job of the VP of any country to 'handle' the economy?
Then Soludo can function well as the Minister of finance. Not a redundant position as VP whose only function in government is to wait for the President to 'quench' before assuming any meaninful position in politics.

Ask Al Gore or manliness Chenny.

How can anyone think of putting a vibrant young man like Soludo as VP(a position of redundancy in any democratic government)?
If your aim is to groom him as the next "Ndi-Igbo" president, that is not the way to go.

Ken Nmamani fits that position perfectly. Let him sit there and do the 'siddon look' job. Not Soludo. That would be a waste of both time and space.

into a crowd of supporterskilling two persons and causing
severe injuries to more than 15

So, his motorcade killed his own supporters? shocked
What a blood-hungry ritualist. wink

Then this:

Atiku Abubakar was in Yola to

when a Toyota Prado SUV in his
16-campaign vehicle convoy

And this:
One of those killed identified as
Muji Mohammed was on a

Sai Turaki' when the driver of
the SUV lost control wink and rammed
into motorbike
and thereafter
triggered a multiple car crash

Why should Jonathan make this a battle?
Sounds like the hand of OBJ in this.
Instead of concentrating on the affairs of the Nation as it applies to the 'election' season, he is on a personal warpath with Atiku.

Atiku clearly realizes this and has few words for him concerning the Nigerian economy, while giving OBJ the lashing he deserves on the side lines.

Way to go Atiku.

Anywhere we have tension in Nigeria, OBJ has his hands and feet planted in it. Why should there be tension in the North?
Again, jealous of the Middle Belt who is not 'Northern enough'. If they were smart, they would be quiet and let the more educated part of Nigeria, the Middle Belt have a shot. Of course OBJ and Yaradua gave them a free hand in pillaging the Middle Belt with religious and sectarian unrests. I doubt Atiku will put up with all that himself.

Running scared?

You are going to see a lot of smear campaign in the weeks ahead. A can of worms may likely be opened when the battle starts.
