Keep waiting for it to pass.
Others should die for you, so you can sit on NL, posting your rubbish while eating your home-made kuli kuli.
I hope you don't have to wait for ever.
Your messiah is on the way.
No need to pray.

Yes.
Southerners have a major problem and it is cowardice.
Please address it.

It is better to be respected than loved. Hate is ok if it yields the right results. Your fake WAZOBIA unions have not worked in Nigeria or for Nigerians.

Then get off the internet and contest the elections to bring about a change. Instead of grinning like an over-fed Sallah ram or Xmas goat.
Politics › Re: Atiku May Yet Emerge As Obasanjo's President Come 2011! by Blazay(m): 11:33pm On Nov 26, 2010
3. Obasanjo is ten times more corrupt than Atiku. We are all witnesses to OFN (Operation Fool Nigerians), the PDF scam, Siemens and Haliburton. Indeed, so many aides of Obasano are variously been indicted / standing trial for corruption - Femi Fanikayode, Adeyanju (Obasanjo's personal assistant who reportedly collected his principal's bribe on his behalf) etc, etc. So far, none of Atiku's aides or relations have been so indicted. Even Obasanjo's daughter, Iyabo Bello - Obasanjo, was also indicted in a N10M Health excess allocation refund scam! So what are we talking about?

In saner climes, Obasanjo should by now be in prison (again) for conducting the worst ever election in Africa, for which results are being overturned daily!
Allah be praised.
Hear ye,
Hear ye,

and GEJ is OBJ by extension.

The main reasons Ibori and Ibru are paying the prices now.
Alams faced the same fate. Poor Southerners. Any form of autonomy is met with instant punitive measures after managing to infiltrate the system.
How dare you grow some wings to attempt to fly?
Absolutely nothing to do with the fight against corruption.
They were to bankroll Atiku for this presidential gravy train.

Ibori was one of the ONLY governors who came out from the get go and challanged OBJ with Atiku against his second term agenda which was zoned to the North.
Atiku was to be the President and Ibori the VP. But over the dead body of OBJ(I dey kamkpe/I dey laugh). The one who can do not wrong. The all-knowing and all powerful. He who must be obeyed. The most sacred of all sacred cows.

If Nigerians were smart, they would understand that the only way to a bright future in Nigeria is through Atiku.

1. He would checkmate OBJ and his "fix it" people keeping Nigeria on the brink of annihilation politically. ALL would be probed, not selectively like the lean and hungry looking "Cassius" of a Ribadu. Damn that hound dog.

2. Ndi-Igbo will be free from the Westerners that keep sabotaging their political efforts and rail-roading thier economical might to nothingness.

3. It is no secret that the majority of crooks and financial criminals in Nigeria come from the Western part of Nigeria. Time to deal with them and ALL fairly once an for all.
After stealing money from Nigeria's oil wells, the bulk of it stays in the western part of Nigeria for the likes of OBJ to keep influencing Nigerian politics in his favour. From the kidnapping of Ngige and the breeding of the Uba political touts in Anambra State to the killing of Bola Ige, ALL financed by OBJ and his regime.

The only person who can do that is Atiku.
Not the messiah, but the best option right now.
He has absolutely NO loyalties to any part of Nigeria like ALL the other presidential candidates.

Jonathan Goodluck is the Worst of the Worst of choices. No autonomy whatsoever. Ribadu has proven himself as the corrupt police man/former EFCC boss who could not even look in Tinubu's drug dealing direction, nor could he look at Andy Uba's direction for assisting OBJ launder money on his presidential jet outside Nigeria to the US.

I pity Nigeria.

The ONLY reason I am ruling for Atiku is that he is the ONLY person who can bring OBJ and his 'fix-it' cabal down. With the backing of the North, the South and the East, The west can be cornered once and for all. The main cancer eating Nigeria. OBJ!

May Allah answereth my prayers.
Time to liberate Nigeria so the young shall truly grow.
Enough of OBJ and his political "puppet" theatrics.

Max Gbanite is one of his article insinuated that Ray Ekpu and Kayode Soyinka killed Dele Giwa. He said Gani Fawehinmi was accomplice to the killing. What else will expect from such a deranged propagandist.
It is obvious that your main problem is the basic lack of comprehension skills, causing a lot of apprehension to any discerning 'literate' reader.
Search yourself.
You are carrying many things that could kill you.

#1 is ignorance.

What makes you think Gani was not aware of what went down with Dele Giwa?

Politics › Re: Southeast Governors Have Mortgaged Ndiigbo Future—max Gbanite by Blazay(m): 10:44pm On Nov 26, 2010
Only a rational-thinking human being living outside Nigeria can write objectively and coherently too.

Gbanite, is from the Southeast, but said the zone’s silence or support for Jonathan will be the second in the history of Nigeria, when Ndiigbo’s future is mortgaged; the first being their inaction during the first military coup led by Major Kaduna Nzeogwu. That resurrection, he said was the first mojor disservice to the Igbo cause. Though generally seen as a pro- Igbo coup, Gbanite said it is the greatest anti- Igbo coup in Nigeria. Ndiigbo, he said, should call a spade a spade; reflect on what will happen to them in 2015 because bearing Ebele does not make Jonathan an Igbo man. He referred to Jonathan as the most flip-flop president Nigeria ever had based on his policy inconsistency, and that his era is worse than Abacha’s because of pervading insecurity in the polity.
Ozo-emena!
Salvation at last from the den of kidnappers.
May the scales keep falling from the eyes of Nigerians, so they can see clearly.
Jonathan will bring Nigeria to the final crucible of ruins.
He stands for nothing like his godfather OBJ.

I have always maintained that OBJ is worse than Abacha and IBB combined.
A Christian-Devil incarnate.
God's own masterpiece of ugliness unparalled.

I haven’t heard anybody saying that Obasanjo killed Bola Ige or that he killed Harry Marshall or killed Aminosoari

Dikibo or had a hand in Dipo Dina’s death or Funsho William’s death, but all these dastardly acts happened during his regime.
Oh-ho!

The southeast that you are talking about; now this is the second time in the history of Nigeria that the southeast, Ndiigbo, is going to make a decision that will affect the Igbo generations of today, tomorrow and those yet unborn and I must say that in making that decision, we must be very cautious. The first was in January 15, 1966 after that Nzeogwu’s coup; the nation waited to see if any prominent Igbo man would condemn the coup. The likes of Mbazulike Amaechi who was a parliamentarian and who has hurriedly endorsed Jonathan today, the likes of K.O. Mbadiwe were busy restructuring themselves for personal gains, forcing Nwafor Orizu to handover government to Aguiyi-Ironsi.
The main reason I cannot stand the Igbos.
Extremely greedy and flippant.

When you see an Igbo man align with an Hausa man, you know that the intentions on both sides are noble.
When you see a Yoruba man and an Hausa man, the Hausa man should watch his back.
When you see a Yoruba man and an Igbo man together, run for your dear life.

Where does Jonathan Goodluck stand in all these? He is the 'shadow' of the Yoruba as being sold by OBJ.

The only true loyalty one can garner from any part of Nigeria is from the North.

Never trust a Southerner in power.
Never.

The only way the Igbo can get that presidential seat is by aligning with the North. If the East continues to bet on the loyalties of the West or South, the only sure banker is a losing battle. To make matters worse, the availability of not-so-smart stooges like GEJ will only add insult to injury. For Ndi-Igbo aligning with GEJ means aligning with OBJ and the WEST.

Back to square one. Sabotage and more sabotage!

Peeps, IBB is/was never a threat.
OBJ is/was is the real threat.

IBB does not need to join any party to contest for the presidency.
Being a Northern king-maker should be good enough for him like OBJ is in the South.

I think he has found his calling.
Good for him. He needs to stick with the king-making mechanism of the North.
Time to checkmate OBJ.

What a noisy hornbill.
This man needs to just sharrrap and focus on what he has to offer Nigeria.

He also urged Nigerian youths to vote wisely in the 2011 elections and not sacrifice their rights for gratification. He decried the situation where the youths and other less-privileged Nigerians were suffering in the midst of plenty.
Sorry, dude.
The Nigerian youths or otherwise, do not get to vote-in their choices.

Politics in Nigeria is 'selection by back-door concensus'. Scratch my back, I scratch your nyansh.

Towards this, Alh Abubakar has raised a committee led by former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme and Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, to advise him on the choice of a South-East running mate. Leading politicians being considered for the Number Two job include former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Senator Ben Obi among others.
Not bad choices.
Preferably Ken Nnamani.
Politics › Re: Atiku Vs Jonathan: The Battle Of Two Ex-customs Officers by Blazay(m): 1:15pm On Nov 26, 2010
Presently, Atiku has the support of some North-West, North-East and North-Central governors and would-be delegates. Sources said he is push hard to get the South-East nod by picking his running mate from the region. He has promised to do a term and relinquish power to the South-East in 2015. Jonathan is yet to make a similar promise.
That's my man. cool
That is all you need.
I don't think Jonathan will love this, since it will be a while before that presidential seat touches the South-South again.
But then again, he was not supposed to be there.
The presidential seat was zoned to the North(East or West).

OBJ used up the slot for the South-South by occupying the office for 8 wasteful years.
Now he risks just being in the seat for just 2 years like Yaradua from the North.

Ouch!

This is going to be interesting.
Ndi Igbo will get a chance come 2015, if and only if OBj keeps his nostrils out of the making of the president.
Go Atiku!

VICE PRESIDENT ABUBAKAR ATIKU SHOULD TAKE THE HONOURABLE PATH NOW!

The Vice President was recently quoted as passing negative innuendos on the person of Mr president. Atiku was quoted as saying that "the problems of Nigeria is that of poor leadership and that when the head of the fish is rotten the rest of the body rots as well". Again this can only happen in Nigeria democracy. A Vice President who openly disparage his boss. Atiku is part of the government that he is berating. This would not have happened in the United States who operates the same system of government we have chosen to copy. In the United States a Vice-President is mostly seen and not heard. He is completely overshadowed by the President of the United States. If Abubakar Atiku thinks he can extricate himself from this "rotten head" he should think again. When the time comes to write the post mortem of the present Obasanjo's administration the name Abubakar Atiku will feature prominently. Atiku should ask Al Gore for advice; he paid for the sins of Bill Clinton.
Honorable path indeed. Not in Nigeria. For there are no honourable paths in Nigerian politics. Ribadu did not take it till he was driven out and I did not see any reason why Atiku should give up his VP position either.

Exactly.

If the head of the fish is rotten, don't blame the neck please. cool

marvix:
Let us start with how did Atiku and Obj implement the budget?

Did we even have emprical data on what they were doing with the budgets, it was yaradua who started asking that budgets should be assesed at the ministry levels, he even had to direct that all ministries submit reports on how they access their budgets and what they use it for, that was when it becam clear that the ministries just used budgets anyhow and since Yaradua was insisting on due process a lot of the ministries and agencies that were not used to doing this could not access their budgets.

My uncle is a top official with PHCN, in 2009 PHCN could not access more than 15% of their total budgets because they were unable to clear with due process on their funds, the ministry that had the highest budget accessibility was Ministry of Agriculture, they organised a seminar where they were adviced that NOBODY has to wait for the budget to be passed before starting and concluding bidding processes for jobs that need to be done that has been included in the budget, just go ahead and start doing all necessary paper work so that as soon as the budget is passed you are ready to acess your funds, the next step is now to analyse budget utilization, so if the MDAs can access 80% of their budgets in a year then the next analysis would be to check what was the utilization, this was what yaradua was working on, and Jonathan is still on course for this.

If Atiku and Obj had started this sort of reports in 2001 or 2005 by now we as ordinary and average Nigerians would clearly have an idea of what Ministry is actually utilizing their budgets.

Atiku was and is a failure because the administration he served in as Vice president is a collosal failure.
I hope you realize that Atiku had no say in OBJ's regime even as a mere figure-headed president?
Did Atiku have any autonomic powers to execute policies under OBJ's tenure?
Answer? No.

OBJ ruled Nigeria alone. We all recognize that.
Stop deceiving yourself besides others.

Throughout the 8 years as VP with OBJ, it was constant feuding. How can such a government be productive?
OBJ takes all the blame.
