So i have have 150k which i got from a cooperative I'm participating in at work. I've being trying to come up with different business ideas i can invest the money into, I'm scared as a man if i let the money stay too long in my account i might end up spending it on any situation that warrant monetary solution.
I actually thought about investing it into crypto currency..since i don't need the money now i can just buy and keep like an investor but the problem i have is, i don't really know much about crypto currency, i don't even know how to open a wallet account, moreover I'm scared of diving into a business i know pretty much nothing about, with this economy situation, lossing 150k isn't the best idea it's even dangerous to ones health.

Please read my write up again, my hands are full. This is an empowerment project. I believe there are people with great ideas but lack that little capital and push. I said I just used 10k as a yardstick I'm not doing agreement with the person that you must make 10k daily. I understand business well, "not everyday is Christmas" when it comes to business turnover. I'm looking for out of the box small scale idea from someone who already has what it takes. The aim is "empowerment". It might be a small idea that people neglect that can make you that amount. Moreover, this days you don't need a store or office space to run great ideas. Your home is a great business location to do your stuffs while you deliver your product or services to your clients home or office. Office and shop spaces are no longer in vogue for certain type of small scale business.

As regards your write up that it's an empowerment programme,I like to give u a break down of a business idea I am working on right now which only involves capital to start up.

Like I mentioned in my previous post that money will always b in circulation irrespective of economy or inflation.

So the idea is a pos business,there's a location on ground which is suitable for it due to the fact that bank is far from there.
The pos will b in an existing shop which means no need for rent,POS machine are sold for 30k with the banner for advert and 70k can start the business transaction at least.

With this,we are looking at making an average of 1k per day on d average meaning it could b more.

1k per day gives us a total of 5k for that week which is 20k per month,this will b paid to your account for the next 5 months with whatever interest u wish to add to it.

there are 5 businesses in this our present country that are daily needs, irrespective of the inflation in Nigeria it can never affect it cos u sell what u buy.Personally I won't advice people into all these online trading investment cos a single decision by an influencer can set u back alot,a typical example is the Ronaldo case with coca cola

These are the 5 businesses
(1)money trading (POS) - no matter how bad the economy is people will always need money for daily needs and banks can never b everywhere,so it's always a lucrative business once u get a nice location for it then u will start making your money steady m with that capital of yours u can have different outlet n all u need to do is supervision and monitoring.

(2) Transport business- we should understand that it's not everyone that will buy a car and it's everyone that will move from place to place irrespective of the economy.u can approach this in different ways,u can always get like 4 car buses n go into interstate transport or better still go into Keke napep business,buy like 4 and give it out to people who will deliver daily.

(3)Food-u can start buying bags of rice in large scale,palm oil in kegs in large scale n other food stuffs

(4) Cooking gas business- with that your capital u can rent a space in a busy location and build a small outlet where u will do gas sales n selling of other stuffs like cylinders, burners,fire extinguishers etc in large scale n u can also buy a small car or bike for home delivery too where u will charge them for delivery fee

(5) Agriculture - this is a big money spinner in different ways,it could b in poultry or aquaculture.
In terms of poultry farming,u can always decide to raise birds for 6 weeks n sell it out to eateries, restaurants n co.it cost a total of around 1300 to raise a bird for 6 weeks and u can always sell around 1500-1600 depending on clients.n since u will b doing it in large scale with a minimum of 2000 birds u can make cool cash

As regards aquaculture,it's also lucrative too

Nothing is impossible, I'm looking for someone who can think out of the box or is already thinking out of the box but has little financial push. There are loads of small scale business that with passion you can make that. I just used 10k as a yardstick. Definitely that may not be achievable everyday. I'm a business analyst so if I see the idea, I can tell. I don't want to give clue on small scale business that can achieve close to that, cos this is more of an empowerment project. So I'm looking for someone who already has what it takes. Once the business becomes profitable, I will pull out and invest in another person.

I understand your point quite alright but in business nothing is sure cos there are some things u have to put into consideration coupled with the fact that the economy is crippled already.

There are 3 major business that economic hardship don't affect irrespective of how bad it is

(1)money-pos (because money is needed in all stratas of life irrespective of social class)

(2)food business-no matter the hardship people must eat no matter the situation so it's a win win situation for food sellers

(3) transport business-we all know everyone can't have a car n we must move from place to place everyday

Now considering the capital on ground which is 200k,it can do POS business
