Education › Re: What Are The 7 Wonders Of The Ancient World? by blessedchild234(m): 10:27pm On Jun 14, 2020 |
prof2007: 1. GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA, EGYPT The Great Pyramid, located at Giza on the west bank of the Nile River north of Cairo in Egypt, is the only wonder of the ancient world that has survived to the present day. It is part of a group of three pyramids–Khufu (Cheops), Khafra (Chephren) and Menkaura (Mycerimus)–that were built between 2700 B.C. and 2500 B.C. as royal tombs.
The largest and most impressive is Khufu, known as “The Great Pyramid,” which covers 13 acres and is believed to contain more than 2 million stone blocks that weigh from two to 30 tons each. For more than 4,000 years, Khufu reigned as the tallest building in the world. In fact, it took modern man until the 19th century to build a taller structure.
Amazingly, the nearly symmetrical Egyptian pyramids were built without the aid of modern tools or surveying equipment. So, how did Egyptians build the pyramids? Scientists believe that the Egyptians used log rollers and sledges to move the stones into place. The sloped walls, which were intended to mimic the rays of Ra, the sun god, were originally built as steps, and then filled in with limestone.
The interior of the pyramids included narrow corridors and hidden chambers in an unsuccessful attempt to foil grave robbers. Although modern archeologists have found some great treasures among the ruins, they believe most of what the pyramids once contained was looted within 250 years of their completion. reminds me of Gods of Egypt |

NGpatriot: So, they are kept for projects, but the same money sat in the back redundant, unproductive, and didn't construct 1 inch of gutter, but you are still convinced that they are kept for projects that never materialized?
Do you not see how ridiculous and absurd you sound?
SMH.. you find it difficult to comprehend my point so ama bring it down to your level of understanding youve got a project worth 400 naira you have 90naira in your account are you going to force the person to do the project or you wait till you've got complete money?? By the way if you read the article well you'll find out the money increased stating that the money is working somewhere somehow. Banks don't keep your money you know. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Dollar Investment As Anambra Governor Now Worth N95bn - Alex Otti by blessedchild234(m): 7:23pm On Jun 14, 2020 |
NGpatriot: So, instead of investing or building infrastructures to develop, to create jobs and give his people a better quality of life, the clueless man let the money redundant and unproductive in a bank instead of putting the money to good use to serve the people.
What is wrong with you people in that part of the country? these monies are kept for projects, I'm sure they'll begin to work with it as soon as the required capital for utilization of the funds is reached. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Dollar Investment As Anambra Governor Now Worth N95bn - Alex Otti by blessedchild234(m): 7:06pm On Jun 14, 2020 |
techmo:

Isnt it absolute stupidity for a state with so much unemployment, zero power supply, and absolutely no infrastructure, to ware house 75 billion in a cormercial bank like diamond bank.. while bankers wont even borrow the money out to Anambra indegene but to the likes of Dangote and Rabiu of Biu groups
75billion would construct a gas pipeline from Imo gas flaring fields, build a 1000 Megawatt Thermal/gas turbine power station and give Anambra 24/7 electricity with enough to sell to other state while their industries drastically develop
a Bank Boss Start hailing you, then they don chop you mugus, alex otti is just thanking you customer dada who would save money rather than develop and make more money
. Invest so that it would have been looted abi?? I see your financial prudence here, More so these monies is still the states own whether you like it or not it was a good step , now imagine that 95billion after the whole covid 19 lockdown and see. |
