Move on. I dont take rejection from guys or any rejection at all too well. Hehe |
Ess: Thanks, my other question refers; if asked what do you do? Can I tell them that I'm serving but have my permit.Yes you should tell them you are serving and you have taken permission to travel, or if your trip is like 4 months away or more you can say you will take permission from your lgi if you get the visa. If you are a teacher, make sure u plan to travel during the holidays. That's what my friend told me he did, can't be too sure. Phema has answered your second question perfectly. |
Ess: How can a person undergoing his NYSC present his/herself at the interview when asked ''what do you do?''Ask your employer and/or LGI. They may or may not give you. Plus the letter might not be checked. |
TeamclicksAir: hello ma, we didnt hear from you.Change of plans, I'm so sorry. |
skimmeh1: even at that, she can not fly with that passport which the visa was approved in. The Airlines also stick to these principle as part of flight condition. So advice your sister to go get her passport re-issued.She got another passport before travelling... This happened january. But I think the person who asked said next year 2015? That's like a year? |
Phema: tzetzefly is actually correct. Your sister's case might just be a lucky exception. Most people who tried applying with passports with less than 6 months validity were refused visas and told to go get another passport.Oh wow, she's really lucky then. I should have added this was early this year like January. |
tzetzefly: A passport must be valid for travel to the United States with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the United States. Not to be disrespectful to u tzetzefly in any way but my sister got a f1 visa with less than 6months validity on her passport. And she was given two years. The NIS people wouldn't even issue a passport that's not expiring in less than 6months Edit: i was wrong, my sister was just lucky. |
Hey amefrica did u get ur ticket from travel start? If yes; what payment method did you use, can't find master card there and did you get a confirmation immediately? Theyy have the best offer atm. Please reply ASAP. Thanks. |
Rachii: Yes Gt MasterCard and Diamond International VISA debit both work on UK machines.Thank you so much. Yes it's the international Visa card. I guess diamond is way cheaper than gtb then. |
Hi can u give me a quote for emirates one way to london(any) 1 adult 1 child. If u have a cheaper airline u can put it up so I can compare If possible the emirates should be with like 19hr stopover. (Not compulsory) Anytime between now and September 4th. Very flexible with the dates . Thanks. |
Oh forgot to add.. I've used Asantee papaya, it was just meh. Reduced my breakouts significantly but made my face ashy and dry at first but one hour after my face looks like a grease pan. Goat milk and tamarind sounds good. Might try it. I hope i find a shop that sells individual and not the pack of six just incase i dont like it. Can u recommend any shop please @greenfriend |
Greenfriend: demmyluv90, get Carotein lightening & fading gel cream. U can also get the Carotein serum (the original is scarce for now though I haven't contacted the distributor for some time) or White Express 5 days serum for faster effect. U need 2 be patientWeird thing is i was reading up on cod liver oil yesterday. Was considering taking it. But the vitamin a is it safe? Read mixed reports about it. But then again, i just started zinc 30mg, vitamin c 1000mg with rosehips and bioflavonoid time released and vitamin e 400iu. I intend to give 3 months. Hopefully it works. Thanks greenfriend. |
demmyluv90: Greenfriend, 3sha4lyf, buttergrey, all of u, I need ur help o, my face is 4 times darker than the rest of my body, my hand and laps are white, and it bothers me a lot, please, I need any mixture that can lighten me within at least one week, please help me. Thank you in advance. Here I was thinking i was d only one with the darker face problem. Looks like they just placed my face on my neck. Learning to live with it sha. It started after i used bp for my acne. But throw that one week thing out of the window, except you plan to use steriods. I dont think any natural and safe lightening cream will lighten you four shades in a week. U can try exfoliating with la lotion at 5%-8% i currently mix my amlactin with jergens on my face but the jergens is making me breakout like crazy!! But my face is a teeny bit brighter. So now I'm thinking of mixing the lactic acid with my body shop tea tree wash to use am&pm and try the carotein fade cream 3sha4lyf recommended. My only problem with carotein is that I might have to use it forever?? |
ocheejemb: I've never had any problem with my GT card anywhere, but the rate is the killer!Wow thanks. Their exchange rate is usually 6 or 7 naira higher i noticed. |
Does anyone here know if gtbank mastercard or diamond Visa card work on uk ATMs? Just want to be sure, someone told me sainsbury's only. And charges too. Thank you ! |
Vicjustice: It is not clear what you actually meant when you said "one of his names in his bc and passports had A wrong spelling", did you mean that both documents have same spelling howbeit wrong, or that both have different wrong spellings?Yes i do understand that, both documents have the same wrong spelling. He used to live with our grandparents and they were the ones who made the mistake on both bc and passport. When he went to get his passport renewed the told my grandmother they couldn't change the name, and she just accepted. I guess we'll just hope for the best at this point. Thank you vicjustice. |
Hello everyone, I filled an application online for my cousin. He's only 10. I just realised one of his names in his bc and passports had a wrong spelling. Say they put Robelt on the passports and BC instead of Robert. We filled the forms with the real spelling. But I'm thinking we should have put Robelt. Is there anything we can do to correct it? Like a sworn affidavit or something? Thank you for your help |
VisaOfficer: Nairalanders, help your VO out here... What does it mean when someone says he has a "school daughter"?It's a practice common in boarding schools. The school mommies and daddies are your seniors (like students in higher classes) while the school daughters or school sons are the juniors. They usually help you avoid getting punished when you get into trouble with other seniors. Basically making boarding school bearable. Also helping you eat your provisions LOL. I hope you get the picture. Couldn't find a better way to explain it. Lol. |
Yes I guess its because antibiotics are prescription only, and taking antibiotics for every illness like most nigerians do, does more harm than good. |
Please for your own good do not take those antibiotics along. I read on here about someone who was sent back because of antibiotics (cannot tell if its a lie or not). Take ur dose of anti malaria and antibiotics before you leave Nigeria. U cannot get malaria abroad, if you'll need antibiotics you can be prescribed one. |
Slimdel: How do one qualify for Dubai connect8 hours stopover or above provided there's no earlier connecting flight. |
zigi88: Stopover is 7 or 8 hrs, not very sure. Sure you can PM me wouldn't mind a travel buddy tho there is Internet service throughout the flight.Yup i know... The wifi thing Emirates wins ! Do u qualify for dubai connect? Pm'd u |
Looks like most colleges ( at least the ones I've checked) have changed their refund policy. I only just noticed niagara college will only refund (international fees/ domestic fees) x 500cad, and that's about 1100cad.. That's if you get your visa. And they don't transfer funds to other institutions. So guys if u plan to change schools when you get to canada, please read the refund policy to avoid stories that touch. ✌️ |
kinnkw: Good evening house.Hi i just wanted to tell you to check conestoga's refund policy very very well. Refund takes 4-6 weeks. So if u plan to transfer the tuition to another school, (sait) that might not work. |
awodiyat: Am once a student of oau and am an engineer even with going to d spot i know wel dt fire cannt burn in a room and enter another room. Does dt design d buildg r nt mad. Them no wat they r doing. So to me if u tel me a bunk burn ño wahala but a room nt to tak of two. Na plot*Wawuu* |
zigi88: How long is your stop over at dubai? I'm also using emirates to Toronto but I'm going 3rd week of August.Hey how long is ur stopover in dubai? Can i pm u? I'm looking for a travel buddy for 3rd week of august too emirates. That's if u dont mind. |
@Amefrica I'm sooo happy for you! Congratulations!!! |
Lovelydamsel have u done biometrics already? What if u fill another form and pay another visa fee altogether. ( waste of money i know). You don't want to be caught telling a lie on a visa application form, though i still feel they would have access to the information. And if you are called to ask why, you can tell that you noticed the mistake and thought to rectify it. I'm not sure it works that way tho. Like you won't attend the biometric appointment for the wrong application you already submitted. Not sure if this even makes sense since I've never submitted an application myself. Maybe people who've applied before can correct me if I'm wrong. |
