For those that have, sure.

But you said you work 20 days a month, and you're on standby the rest of the time. Is there a different schedule for married pilots?

When you have to do really long flights like dxb to jfk for example, do you get to sleep or you have to stay up the whole time? What happens if you doze off?

Can you call in sick when you're already booked to fly? Or you have to go to work regardless ?

Dear Vo,

My sister wants to renew her F1 visa using the dropbox renewal service.

Does she need to submit my dad's bank statement with her application? Also, can she use an unofficial transcript ( downloaded from webadvisor).

Thank you.

Good morning ma'am. Sorry about the late response. The fees are actually less than 75k as the one quoted above contains some outstanding from last term. I've discussd with her if she intends to keep the children there considering the costs. She's hoping and praying that her business improves by September when a new term starts, If not she may have to consider cheaper options (she's quite reluctant to move them as they've been going there since kindergarten). When next I see her, I'll ask her for the exact costs of each child per term. You have no idea how much joy you're about to bring in the lives of these children and their mum. God will always give you a reason to smile and rejoice.

Thank you for the feedback. Please e-mail me with details theladyengineer123@gmail.com I'll reply you with my personal e-mail. Please let me know when you send me one, so I know its you.

Thank you.

God bless you ma'am. She lives in Agric area of Ikorodu (sorry I can only divulge more via pm).

Here are the break down of what she needs to get by as well as the TeHN account can pay into.

Thanks and once again God bless

I initially thought the tuition for third term had been paid... Mistook the tuition bill for a receipt. I have to edit my post now so as not discourage others from donating to the cause.

Thank you.

You're absolutely correct, the children are very brilliant. The first and third were best overall in their respective classes last term while the second was best in maths, basic science and a couple of other subjects I can't recollect. Even before their dad took off the woman was the one handling the bulk of the school fees and living expenses. The cooperative loan she took was on behalf of the both of them and he had mapped out how he was going to assist in offsetting it, only for him to take off leaving his wife with the loan, rent, fees and four mouths to feed. She was able to offset the loan but at the expense of her business. Now they're struggling to get by. Last time I saw her, she said even though she only eats once or twice a day, the children have never missed their three square meals and that makes her glad. I'm very positive that she'll be able to overcome this setback if she has sufficient funds to re-invest. I'm appealing to Nairalanders to assist with the little way they can. May we never lack.

This brought tears to my eyes. How much is the tuition for all three of them per term please? And when is the next one due? What part of Lagos do the live too?

Mr. Toks never disappoints in brandishing his misogynistic views. Dude, a woman doesn't have to stay in a relationship that's not working just so she doesn't appear to have many exes. If it's not working, she move on. Likewise the guys.

You talked about women being 'ransacked' but never spare a thought for men who are also being ransacked. Why must your opinion be laced with male chauvinism, female belittling and condescending to the women folk. You can do better mate. We already know you're a chauvinist but easy with flaunting it on our faces.

I guess I don't see what the problem is, if you both are religious, it's still god after all and if you both are reasonable, you'd find a way to co-exist.

It would have been very hard if one of you was atheistic.

If all you said is really true, I think you might be missing a chance on something that might surprise you.

but when both our families would have none of that... my parents are flexible with tribe, but not religion.

I agree - im missing out on an amazing relationship with him

Theres a guy that does the total opposite of this with me, and he's not my boyfriend.

Friends for 8 years now. We'd have the best relationship ever if he were a christian, and not a few months younger than I am. The age is not even a big deal because I dont look my age.

With him I realised love is a decision and you can choose who/who not to fall for.

sorry for the tmi

This reminds me of the ex that is/was trying to get back that I blocked all forms of communication with since 2014.

He's no longer active on ANY social media platform. Yes I still stalk him on social media, I still like him. But he hurt me too much, I'm not going back there.

Maybe I should swallow my pride and call him...

This just shows no idea is unique. My sister has been talking about opening same in Nigeria when she graduates, since 2012.

But then in the UK for example there's poundland, 99p shop etc and they're doing very well regardless of the competition. So it's not totally a dead end IMO, Nigeria is a fertile ground. 180million people... Payporte can't serve them all.

You can try Brazil. All you need to do to get a permanent residency status is to give birth to a baby who will automatically become a Brazilian citizen. Irrespective of your visa status or nationality if you plan on staying as a permanent resident, you can just switch from a tourist visa to a permanent visa based on a Brazilian child and you don’t even have to leave the country to apply. you can also gain citizenship status in about a year. However while all this is backed by the law, Brazil is a very bureaucratic country and you need to do your research well as the process can become very overwhelming. Also be aware that the language in Brazil is Portuguese.

I wish you the best.

But zika virus.

What does it profit a man to naturalize and get a deformed baby in return.

That's quite high....then again people tell me I'm thrifty.

My rent is less than 300k, approx 2% of my annual, no car, no wife ... Public transport and Vaseline are both fine for now. Man don suffer....lol

How can you earn 15m and not have a car. The house, well if that's all you need ATM, I don't see the point in living in a huge house just because you can afford it. More bills, more cleaning, bigger gen etc.

What I don't get is why you choose to use public transport over getting a car?

Wonders.

I'm not saying painting her nails is right at that age... But I don't think it's all that bad. Growing up, my mum had like 4 sisters (teens and twenties) that i used to spend a lo o time with. so I used to paint my nails from as early as age 8. Though my mun would clean it off as soon as we got back home, dad was indifferent. I knew I couldn't take it to school. She stopped freakin out about it when I turned 11, and I'm 24 now, the last time I did my nails was probably for a wedding 6 years ago. Like when I got to uni, and all my friends were crazy about painting nails an what not. I didn't see the big deal.

Op at this point what you should be concerned about is her boyfriend an not nail polish. Tell her why it's important to stay chaste. She's 14, it is not too late. Talk about sex with her, give her stories about your friends that had sex early an how the relationship wen sour because of that.(form it if you have to) Talk to her about your own escapades , before you know it she's telling you about her boyfriend and what they do together.

My sis had her first boyfriend d at 13, this was he method I used for her. I'd tell her about my boyfriend and She would tell my everything, and even show me his text . messages. She's almost 20 an still a virgin. Now I'm not worried about her, because she's a principled young woman.

I can beat my chest, i've never asked any guy for money and all my friends are the same.

One time in uni, a guy came to my hostel and saw me at the shawarma place and decided to pay for my meal. I simply said thank you.. we were not so close so i knew where he was going to. the next day he was asking me to come to his bq. i told him to come and collect his 1k back plus another 1k for his fuel. lmao i was petty as hell but i don't care.
