You even though I agree with what you posted, you know just like having to profess my believe my belief in Allah before I can comment on this post, on a public forum, don't you think it's compulsion too, even though no one is forcing me to. But you know this is a public forum, except you want to keep your opinion to yourself, you wouldn't put up post like this, so you should expect people's comment. This same way it goes for this hijab scenario, you argued in your favor because of sentiments for your religion, same way a Christian will do. So you see, sometimes as human, if we are serious about making meaningful contribution to our development either as a nation or cultural group, we need to drop some outdated ethics Creeds that set us back several steps backwards as a nation, and get off our high moral standard. Else, we should rather accept and tolerate this bickering that go on for a long time, until we are tired to toe no more that path.

Religion / Re: Today Is World Atheist Day. NL Atheists How Did You Celebrate? by blessedlibra: 12:56am On Mar 26, 2020
Bacteriologist:
I don't have much to celebrate. Than to just be thankful that I was able to rise above all the indoctrination and brainwashing and to come to the valid conclusion, that religion is a lie after 20 solid years.

I want to specially celebrate the people who have fought for the freedom of people like me. Because a few years ago, when world politics was massively controlled by religion and theologians, I would have been dead/burnt at stake or at the very least, rejected from society simply for having this sort of skeptic mindset.

I own my freedom of speech to those great people who fought for the normalisation of secularism. I very much understand that there a lot of religious people who would want us to return back to the age where doubt is criminalized.

And I have made it my point of duty to fight for the rights of fellow atheists, both now and in the future, for their right to freedom of speech and to go about their normal lives regardless of their belief or lack of it.

To the commiseration of atheists who have lost their lives, in the hands of religious people, both completely and partially, I personally dedicate this day.

Thankful to whom?
Health / Re: Coronavirus: Larfage Cement Factory Quarantined As Ogun Begins Contact Tracing by blessedlibra: 2:05pm On Feb 28, 2020
Sheuns:
Nigeria is just cursed with bad people and leaders. This man came into the country on 25th from a region that is currently under the outbreak, our immigration officials should have known best to quarantine these people for at least 14 days, but no, they let them pass, cos they’re oyinbo and are first-class citizens in our own country.

Just imagine the man didn’t check into the hospital when he started feeling sick. And think of the possibility of some other persons that may have come in without proper checks. Now they’re saying they’ll fight it. Lagos is extremely dirty and stuffy. How do they plan to reach everyone this man had contact with both directly and indirectly.

A friend of mine went to pick up an item from an Italy returnee that was probably on the same flight as this man on 26th and now the man is said to be in Benin, what if that man was exposed? It means I may be exposed too cos I met my said friend yesterday and we discussed this issue on this virus getting in here, and how it’ll be managed, not knowing it’s been here already.

We really need to get serious in this country. Our government and leaders are just too bad and heartless.

Why are you these dumb bro, even thee developed countries still has the case of the virus even with all their quarantine measures. Maybe you should read more about how virus spread and stop throwing blames upandan as if you will fare better if you are in charge

I tire for emotional e-diot I share geographical space with, bagudu was a trusty in the cronies network, but he's greediness will get the better part of him soon enough, his saving grace however, is he is hiding under the guise of helping Nigeria but pursuing his own inordinate ambition and also he belongs to the ruling party, and the immunity he has a sitting governor means he won't be probed now

He should know power is transient

This class is FREE but is on selection basis only. I would handpick just 15 serious developers. Then we take it from there.

Quote me if you are interested and tell why learning this is important to you. Remember your why is important. The classes would hold offline and online. The location would be given to you if you are selected.

Offline classes is only for Lagosians.
If you don't reside in Lagos. You would participate in the online sessions.

Kudos.

The reason why this learning is very important to me is because, I want to learn a skill that will advance the basic IT skill I already have. And also being a FULLSTACK WEB developer will give me a edge in a competitive IT world, allowing me to explore and take advantages of being a frontend and back end developer.

Why do you choose to toe the path of stupidity this early Monday morning. did you see where any name was mentioned in the post. why do you choose to be vain in your thought. why do you choose to be bigot. must you reply hate for hate. why can't you be matured. it's not fair if we continue like this. this is even beyond this forum, as most people from these t ethnic groups has taken this up as a senseless cold war. when a white man do this kind to you, you throw up dust and shout rascim. but you enjoy doing it to your fellow brothers, bunch of bloody hypocrites. you Yoruba's and Ibo's are bloody hypocrite. where has your bragado gotten you, shouting up and down over supremacy. it shows you'll are weak within, for it's a sign of mental and psychological weakness. it expose your insecurities and you do these things by trying to cover it up. why can't you just grow out of hate. Just so you know, I am Yoruba, a liberal one that does not tolerate stupidity. I am a black man who wants the total emancipation of the black man body, soul and spirit. But I doubt if such ambition can be achieved if we still have lots like you amongst us in both ethnic group and in Africa. you are shame to the black man.

This is a Brazilian. He is an ifa priest and an ifa lecturer.

I know thousands of whitemen troop to the ooni's palace daily to learn ifa. I don't think they're foolish. They're there to seek knowledge.

But look at Africans laughing at their own spirituality. Their own divinity.

Africans are lost.

Not only lost, I think majority of Africans are beyond redemption. it's a pity I live in this generation of the lost lot.

most people commenting on this thread are not patient enough to dissect what the ooni was trying to say. ifa divination system is a complex binary system very much similar to the way google operates. the reason why you people are to hast to criticise ooni is because of your "westernization" that has led you to disregard your culture. it's a pity, the kind of generations i share my existence with, especially Africans. we have been taught to dread our culture as barbaric, no thanks to religion and western ideologies. This same western ideologies are inherently using our longstanding ideas to advance their designs and sell them back to us. But when people like us says these things, they label us conspiracy theorists.
