I swear charly boy got a point here......
He made not a single sense if u ask me. The issues raised by CB are quiet peripheral because looking closely those points r just for the moment.(Sperm and money)

What happens to being able to remain focused, sticking to daring ambition, goals, emotion, sustenance and critical planing.

These are daily routine that we encounter in our daily lives and when the chips are down the female sex fizzles out. Here they find other ways of satisfaction like engaging in electric and plastic toys even with the wealth acquired. Not just sperm but emotional safety.

If that's all women needs in men why do well to do rich societal women still want men by their side even at sixties knowing she don't wanna make babies anymore? Why do we have women yet want to be loved no matter what it looks like?

The truth is we all need each other for the circle to complete. Its symbiotic,no looser nor gainer.

PoliticsRe: Herdsmen Invaded Wole Soyinka’s Home by Bloggz74(m): 8:34pm On Apr 28, 2016
PapaBrowne:
How Herdsmen Invaded Wole Soyinka’s Home

Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka has disclosed that herdsmen invaded his home while he was abroad with the cows leaving a “motorable” path.

In an address to the National Conference on Culture and Tourism on April 27, Soyinka decried the ruthless manner with which the herdsmen have conducted their business of late.
He stressed that Nigeria’s tourism will never boom if it continues to tolerate such insecurity, noting that, culture and tourism are interdependent.

He also stated that the federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has not done enough to stop the onslaught of the herdsmen.

“Let me narrate a personal experience – just one among many – that was brought home to me, right against my doorstep. Before that specific happening, I had observed a change of quality in forest encounters with cattle herdsmen over the years. These changes had become sufficiently alarming for me to arrange meetings with a few governors and, later, with the late National Security Adviser General Azazi. At the time, we thought that they were Boko Haram, infiltrating into the south under the guise of cattle herding. That was then, and of course, that surmise has never been firmly proven or disproved,” he said in a press statement.

Narrating his experience, he said: “Recently, however, I returned from a trip outside the country about to find that my home ground had been invaded, and a brand-new “Appian way” sliced through my sanctuary. That ‘motorable’ path was made by the hoofed invaders. Both the improvised entry and exit are now blocked, but interested journalists are invited to visit.

“In over two decades of living in that ecological preserve, no such intrusion had ever occurred. I have no idea whether they were Fulani or Futa Jalon herdsmen but, they were cattle herders, and they had cut a crude swathe through my private grounds.

“I made enquiries and sent alerts around, including through the Baale of our neighborhood village. There has been no repeat, and hopefully, it will remain the first and last of such invasion. What it portends, however, is for all thinking citizens to reflect upon, and take concerted measures against.”

They will argue blocking in schools
Sexual harrasement they will say u lied
Lecturers selling scores theysay u lied
Lecturers delebrately not marking your sheet they say its not possible

These are the major reasons they are not good leaders in the society cos "they don't believe our stories"

Signs can be very misleading. Its better to be called a ''Jew'' or ''mugu'' than to betray someone's trust, or worse still, battle cases of sexual assault.
Even consent itself is not a guarantee, not to talk of going without it. A lady who has given you consent may turn round days, weeks or even years later and say she was forced.
Boss so which do we believe?

PoliticsRe: Deleting Priority Projects Of A Govt Is An Economic Crime - Wole Solanke by Bloggz74(m): 5:20pm On Apr 13, 2016
Inani:
I have read what the Honourable Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation said in justifying removing some items from the Appropriation Bill and including others and I must say there is a distinct lack of understanding in the National Assembly of their role regarding public finances.
Section 4 of the Constitution spells out the role of the Legislature while Sections 80-83 capture their role with regards to public finance. None of those provisions empowers them to write the Appropriation for the Executive.

To start with, the executive is the government. They are the ones who sell us their vision for governance through their manifesto. By voting them in, we empower them to achieve those aims, and one of the tools they use is the budget. They have an idea of their priority areas and economic direction. It's those priorities they capture in their bill.

The Constitution empowers the National Assembly to appropriate funds for those priority areas identified by the Executive in their Bill. If they disagree with an input, they have the right not to appropriate funds and send that item back to the Executive.

The Constitution does not say in what manner they can send it back, but by not appropriating funds, they can make their intentions very clear. In more advanced democracies, there will then be meetings and horse trading and some form of agreement will be reached.

But from what the honourable member tweeted in defence of the National Assembly, what they did was not just refuse appropriation, they went further to input projects and expenditure on the Executive. Let's be clear. They have no such right or power under the 1999 Constitution (as amended).

The mere act of 'passing' the Appropriation Bill sent by the Executive and requesting the President's signature, the legislature in effect wrote the bill, which is a position outside of the contemplation of the Constitution. The right thing to have done was to identify their areas of concern and forward same to the Executive.

Take for example the N50bn the honourable member said they set aside for the payment of local contractors. Question is which contractors, on which projects and how were they selected? All these are roles and answers for the executive and not the legislature who are lawmakers.

Deleting priority projects of a government is tantamount to sabotage and an economic crime against the people of the Federal Republic. I think because the Legislature have become accustomed to doing things this way in recent years, they have began to believe they actually have such powers and are wielding them accordingly.

I remember a concern that as a former military ruler, Buhari cannot play by democratic norms. It now appears it's our agbada wearing legislators who don't understand their role in a Constitutional democracy. I think the Attorney General of the Federation should approach the Supreme Court for an urgent interpretation so as to bury this recurring issue once and for all.

They are cool questions though... The prof was just trying to 'bully' his students with grammar...

Question 6 simply means 'Discuss' the following...

While question 4 was simply asking the students to explain why military rule seemed to have worked in The Philippines and seemed not to have worked in Burkina faso and Pakistan .....

Question 2 only sought to know whether the students understand the term 'Military-Industrial Complex'

And in question 1, they were asked to discuss James McClellan's paper on Liberty, Order, and Justice as it affects them in particular and the world at large.

Now that oil price is low are we not supposed to have a lower and available pump and fuel? Was that not what GEJ was doing?

Patriotism at its height!

Lets applaud the man to whom honour is due.

In 100 years from today, Ameachi`s 100 feet statue will stand so high in the city of Port-Harcourt and a replicate in Lagos which will stand tall in the middle of the Atlantic, and a generation would be told that "There was once a man" and history will continue from there.
