Many bales you buy are rebaled. A pure cream bale is very expensive you need to be sure if your customer's will be able to afford it. I have grown my customer base since 2012 so easy for me to buy and sell.
A cream cotton skirt bale might cost N1000 to 1500 to sell
Most customer's will price skirts from average bales for N300.

You can see the difference. Even those customers, after wearing my stock, they come back to buy, because they know the difference. Most tell me they get more compliments each time they were my stock.

I had to increase my the quality of my stock by buying myself directly so that I am sure of what I am buying. I learn with each supplies I receive.
Over here, no one knows the content. They just keep screaming Wilcox which might be rebaled in voting and labeled.

I had lost so much over the years to horrible goods, fraudulent suppliers who make away with your money without sending you goods.

This biz is not easy but if you want to remain in it. You look for a strategy that works for you by studying your supply, goods and customer's. Hopes this helps

Wat is the difference between cream and grade A bale?

Most Cream bale comes with tags. Some do not come with rags and show no or little signs of use. You buy in weights. 1 kg can cost £5 £8 £10 or more depending how you want it. You cannot count how many in a kilo.
Grade A can contains unsorted raw items which are a mix of clothes some depending on the company

You can buy them yourself from London factories or buy from the ones already cleared here. I got tired of fighting all these bales sellers here and their rags so I found away out.

Let me drop the quotes of last ones I got.

1. It is contraband.
2. Some companies offer container loads as minimum buys (mostly china. You must buy 13000kg plus or 40 feet container)
3. Those in the UK sell to you in smaller quantities in Kg. Then you select how many kg you need. The weight and items you buy depends on how neat the items you want. There are raw assorted, some labeled, some are mixed. Shipping in pallets. Or buy 5 to 10 bags to minimize Shipping cost from company to seaport.
4. We have assorted items in stock cleared by us.
One bag has ladies tops, three quaters trousers, shorts, ladies skirts and gowns mixed together. No rags and no smell
