From Lagos to Ogun State in the name of business. God please save your children. |
Eagleboney:Abi. Some self cannot even bark simple bark |
cuteboy2:Wow. How long has anyone entered here? Just imagining if I was a building contractor, where do i start with a project like this. I cant imagine the kind of cobwebs, snakes and stuff you find here. Looks scary. |
Psalme91:I am very sorry to say: this is pure wickedness. I can feel your situation. I have three girls too. My husbands family also use every opportunity to insult me and downgrade all my efforts. You don't have a child was the song they kept singing for me. All they kept saying was that i have borne house helps for them to help them with chores. I should give them out to them when they are old enough. I had to save my family from them by moving into another location. Guess what, i had a strange sickness last year which left me paralysed for sometime. My inlaws never for once, spoke on how to care for me and the children. They had meetings with my husband on how to split my own girls when i am not dead. My last girl was 6 months old at the time. Their explanation was that i will concentrate on being better. I cried to God and my miracle happened. I stood up and started walking. I now understood the kind of family i am married to. I have stood my ground and drew a line for all of them. I never had a mother to train me. I dont want any more children. I will use all i have to give my girls the best of what life has to offer. I am glad you have a job. Concentrate on yourself on how to save and train those children. I hate to tell you this: You need to be strong for them because your husband might end up disappointing you in the long run if he is easily influenced and pressurized by his family. Stop having kids. Continue to pray for your husband. Talk to God in front of your kids. Love them. Prayer works wonder. I have been there and i have friends who have suffered same fate. I have a neighbour. Her husband made her have 9 girls. He left her due to family pressure. He had 3 other women in Nigeria, they had 3, 4, and 2 girls respectively. He traveled out to Germany, married a white woman. He has 2 girls from her too. Clean your eyes this moment. Garbage in Garbage out we use to say those days. It is what he has deposited he is bringing forth. Don't be hard on yourself. It is not your fault. It is well if he refuses to understand. Focus on your job, your life, your kids and health. I wish you safe delivery in advance. |
otipoju:This is my story too. Its taking so long to recover. Tolerating Toxic people because of one future help is a scam. |
Mr Senou says he did not want to take the disease to Africa. Egypt has become the first country in Africa to confirm a case of the coronavirus. Health professionals warn that countries with weaker health systems may struggle to cope with a potential outbreak of the illness, which has led to more than 1,770 deaths and infected more than 72,000 people, mostly in China. "I don't want to go home before finishing studying. I think there is no need to return home because all hospital fees were taken care of by the Chinese government," says Mr Senou. To evacuate or not? Since late January governments around the world, led by the US, began evacuating their citizens out of Wuhan and neighbouring cities. More But thousands of African students, workers and families, remain in lockdown across the central Hubei province - the outbreak began in the provincial capital Wuhan - and some think their governments should do more to help them. "We are sons and daughters of Africa but Africa is not willing to come to our rescue when we need it the most," says Tisiliyani Salima, a medical student at Tongji Medical University and president of the Zambian Wuhan student association. |
When Kem Senou Pavel Daryl, a 21-year-old Cameroonian student living in the Chinese city of Jingzhou, contracted the coronavirus he had no intention of leaving China, even if that were possible. "No matter what happens I don't want to take the sickness back to Africa," he said from his university dormitory, where he is now under a 14-day quarantine. He was suffering from a fever, a dry cough, and flu-like symptoms. When he became ill he thought of his time as a child in Cameroon when he contracted malaria. He feared the worse. "When I was going to the hospital for the first time I was thinking about my death and how I thought it was going to happen," he said. For 13 days he remained in isolation in a local Chinese hospital. He was treated with antibiotics and drugs typically used to treat HIV patients. After two weeks of care he began to show signs of recovery. The CT scan showed no trace of the illness. He became the first African person known to be infected with the deadly coronavirus and the first to recover. His medical care was covered by the Chinese state. Blackeurop:Nah so. Lol |
Hisduchess:Which lies o. Life happens and shit happens. Mine is an example. My mom left my dad when i was 2 years and she was 3 months. He singlehandedly took care of us without remarrying. We are in our 30's now and both married with kids. He is still single. I dont joke with the old man. It was tough. My experience has taught me how to be a great mother and wife. At 18, i went looking for her. She is living her wayward life and not ready to be my mom. She doesnt want to get involved. She has 3 grandchildren. She still doesnt want to get involved. It is well. Many people think my mom is dead. My 3 kids dont know her. Each time i have babies, i always look for who to care for me and my babies in the first 3 weeks. I wonder how a woman will go through pregnancy for 9 months, pass through labour or delivery and post natal stress and you end up dumping the kids. Just because you want to live a free life of adultery and prostitution. . It beats me really. |
JosephXavier:This happened to most of the airlines for the past four days. All my flights were canceled. The planes couldnt land. Communication signals were lost. No one could hear them from the grounds |
Congrats. |
Originalsly:The reports indicate that the girls have been examined and evidence of defilement was found. |
careytommy37:Those are the lines they use on these innocent kids. |
mimimile93:Seems 2008 was their year. All of them pushed. One show to the order. |
Interesting topic. Sunny Ade Well, my aunt ran an event company like 10 years back. She needed close to 100 hostesses for the event. She was given a 24 hour notice to select the girls and sew our outfits. It was really crazy. So she had to call every girl she knew so as to meet up. On a good day she will pick ladies slim and tall 6 feet up. She didn't have a choice. So she picked all of us down to the venue after wearing our outfits. The events sponsors complained and complained and she just packed all of us who where not up to 6 feet at the back of the marquee tent. We were angry at first but we realized we were stationed at the foreigners section with the Sunny Ade band staged there. We enjoyed every bit of the experience. Helen Paul Chai. Chai. She can talk for Africa. We were in the same hostel in New hall, Unilag. You can hear her voice everywhere. I was addicted to her. She ran anchor for every beauty contest on campus. If she doesn't show up as the anchor. We would leave. She has many voices. Her most serious voice ehn. She is one talented person. She knows how to hold and entertain a crowd without anyone getting bored. AY His first show in Unilag. He cracked a joke about us taking anything on him. Point and take he called it. My friend stood up and asked for his designer watch. You need to see him crying but he gave it anyways. Derenle So there was this show on campus. He decided to come to my hostel. He told us, as we stood on our way to class that he once had a girlfriend there. Oops, our Dean caught him there. He gave us stories of his days in our faculty. How he cross dresses to class and how the lecturers thought he was mad. I have met Terry G, psquare, dr Sid and Dbanj, MI, Mocheda and many of them For me, meeting them gives me a new perspective to thinking. I try to learn a thing or two. The good, bad and the ugly. I love meeting people and going to new places. All for learning sake. I hate boredom. I never know how rude Beyonce was until i spoke to two people who have met her in person. So i ask myself why do i want to add rude as part of my names. So try to learn something people |
Finnese001:Lol. We cannot cough again o. |
alizma:My take too. |
KIDfurniture:Even if border is closed, what of those coming through the country through flights? I heard that the measure put in place even if someone is caught with the virus, is self quarantine. |
I am so sure they do not really understand the implications of this outbreak. Let me give you a fitting illustration. Have you ever been close to someone who has broncho-pneumonia or frequent asthmatic attacks? Imagine everyone around you having such attacks. From my experience caring for persons with respiratory disorders. It can be frustrating and painful. That's whats this outbreak is like. They should quarantine them for several weeks immediately they arrive. Or Use the British style outright ban on flights. Must we sacrifice humans before we start thinking. I remember the episode with ebola. I fell ill during that period. The doctor had to stay 2 meters away from me and asked me to check my temperature myself. Everyone treated me like i had the illness. At that time i know how many Chinese people left their businesses to their countries. Its of recent they started coming back. We are not ready for this kind of frustration. FOR ONCE, the authorities should the right thing for the sake of national health and security. I have read so much about this subject. The part that got to me is that people more than 65 cant get over it once infected. |
