thank u mama. that is the hospital we have been using since 2013. the challenge there was that she has 7 miscarragies(this happens whenever she is in her 3months) and we have tried to use some of the best private hospitals around. even uith. my wife was the first patient to go on sarclage after 9weeks in Uith but the baby stopped breathing after 13weeks. All these while she usually go on evacuation after the loss of the pregnancy. Now she is pregnant. I just wants to be more careful on this 8 one.

All I want to say now is she will carry this baby to term, please you guys should find the root cause of the miscarriages so you can guide against it then work with your doctor, above all pray pray and pray. This baby is sure here to stay. Cheers.

Depending on your area, if you are around Tanke and you want s private hospital anchor med is very good. Other Ilorin mamas will suggest more. Happy and healthy bumping to her.

Welcome to my world of no light for over a month now because the want us to pay an outstanding bill of #256000 that we know nothing about o. Just like you myself and hubby are not always around to use any gadget yet we pay 5k every month.

They disconnected it July and we paid 25k to reconnect only for the to disconnect last month so we just ignored them as hubby don go shomolu tire. We came back today to discover they have packed the wire and I said to hell with them and stupid wire jare.

Good Evening mamas....Please who has taken this injection PRIMOLUT DEPOT I was place on it yesterday when I started having brownish discharge but it wasn't much.
Hope there isn't side effect

I took it when I was spotting around 11weeks also, I don't think it has any side at least not that I know of. I took it twice a week till 14 weeks.

Is 18 weeks not too late...Cerclage is usually done between 12-14 weeks. There are risks but they rarely occur like premature contraction, membrane rupture, cervical infection, cervical laceration and cervical dystocia. For twins, it is always recommended due to the pressure of having double weight on your pelvic can cause incompetence cervix. But my fear is the 18 week - I am thinking is late though but you can try and seek another advice of a good gynecologist before embarking on that.

My first Gynecologist recommended that for me at 12 week because of my previous evacuations though MC has always been first trimester loss ...I researched comprehensively on that and went and seek second opinion from the Gyneo higher Boss and he told me is not needed since i can minimize stress. I am 25 weeks now and they keep checking and my cervix has always been closed.

Seek another opinion and if it is already late, just follow your gyno advice and minimize stress, dont carry heavy loads, take enough rest and you will be fine. You can confide in your line manager that you are pregnant and doctor advised you minimized stress so they can support you. My elder sister birthed twins and carried it full term with no cerclage. My colleague in my workplace is currently 34 weeks with Triplet. DOnt worry if it is late, you can do it

I was not ask to come back for any follow up appointment so apart from no sex thing what other dos or donts do I have pls. Thank you.

I have a cousin who had twins and equally did a cerclage and she was fine. I don't think its anything to worry about. She was only advised to avoid sex, standing for long and carrying heavy items.

The babies stayed till full term. She said its a simple procedure. Pls follow ur doctor's advice

I know I haven't been active in the thread but I must say that I have learnt quite a lot by coming here and I have grown quite addicted to the chats and banters amongst mamas. It calms my mind .
I envy the preggy mamas here with the way they carry their bumps with so much fun and excitement .
I really wish to do that too but fear is silently killing me cos of past experience of loosing twin babies at birth.
Please my fellow mamas, I apologies if my post puts anybody off but kindly remember me in your prayers that afflictions shall not arise again in my life and at the end of this journey God gives me beauty for past ashes.
I feel comfortable sharing this with fellow mamas here and I hope i am more welcome once again.

Yes I did experience this for about 5 weeks till like week 9 when it stopped. I still experience it occasionally now too, I don't think it's anything serious except it's accompanied with other worrying symptoms.
Like other mamas advised me too take enough water and rest well. Happy bumping sis.

Sorry dear. I had both lower abdominal pain and back pain too in pregnancy. You just need to really really rest. If it becomes unbearable, please see your doctor but if your doctor is like mine, he/ she won't give you any drug I tell you. Wish you an hitch free pregnancy dearie.

We are 14weeks today and the lower abdomen and back ache no be here, initially I was scared but Google says it's normal for multiple pregnancy just that I'm not feeling myself at all.

Dosunmu. In my sojourn last week, I discovered somewhere in the market where they sell US baby things in wholesale price. Their prices are sometimes #500 below what is obtainable in other wholesale shops. The good thing about this place is that the guy is truthful and if you don't find what you are looking for in their shop, you can buy from other shops around there.
I first went to their shop but didn't buy anything from them because they've packed their goods already, I bought from one Alhaja around there. Let me know if you are interested so I'll give you their number and address.

I need yout opinions please!

I was invited for a repeat scan today by the doc just to make sure everything is in good condition after the bleeding episode 2 weeks back. Everything looks fine except that cervix length has shortened from 39mm to 34mm which doesn't sound pleasant to me.

Now the doc told us that we have option of stitching the cervix or repeating the scan again in two weeks to watch the progress. He said he suggesting this cos it's a multiple pregnancy.

Now I'm worried cos this is our first pregnancy, is it advisable to get a cerclage done or what do you think is best to do. Above all I know God is involved and I'll carry them to term by his grace.
