Why is the thread unnecessarily quiet these days, February mamas we need to ginger ourselves and others so this place will not be dry in our special month.

Good evening mamas,

Good to see my teamies and porters dropping theirs babies safely.

We are 37 weeks today with no single sign of labour except for lower abdominal pains that makes me limp not even cramps o. To say I'm tired is understatement coupled with this heat o, I'm thinking of going to the hospital to tell them I'm in pains cos I'm tired.
Dr Google says multiple pregnancy should not be allowed above 37 weeks, how true is this?

His excellency, my darling son made his grand entrance at 3.45 pm on the 31st of January, at 38 weeks 5 days, weighing 3.6kg via vagina delivery with abundant tear.
Son doing great, Daddy rejoicing and mummy very sick having lost blood. i pray i recover soon.

I Pray the Almighty God makes it easy for the remaining waddling mamas.

My teamie welcome to our month of victorious delivery and celebrations, bag is packed but leave is not starting till 15th of this month but who cares shey if I born my own leave don start. The only thing left to be bought now is baby wardrobe.

Probably your doctor is suspecting the back pain is your body preparing for labour so it's safer to remove the cerclage now than when you are in full blown labour. I think by 36weeks you are already term for multiple.
Dont be scared ok. It's all for good.

Thanks ma'am, I removed it this evening and I feel ok now, never knew removal could be this painful I kept on crying and shouting.

At 36 weeks carrying multiples I believe your babies are ready to be born should labour start soon after the removal.

Mamas make una help me o, been having back ache so I decided to see my doc just to complain only for him to tell that cerclage will be removed today.

Now I'm so scared cos I don't know what this removal entails.

@bloomingbud that was me some 3 weeks ago. I got some relieve 3 days ago only to come up with nosebleeding and trembling. It is well sha.Please too much paracetamol is not good in pregnancy esp. for a boy. Instead take hot water bath. pls not very hot . That too will also pass. kpele.

Fellow mamas come to my aid o, I'm 35 weeks 5 days and the heaviness I feel is out of this world that I can't even walk straight my vjay aches like.

I don't even know what to do this children should do and come.

teamie this waddling is not easy. me that i was lepa brisk walker, i have turned to jaga jaga walker. At 35 weeks i am supper tired! Still going to work though, hopping i can keep it up till end of this month!

Waddling Na understatement o, turning from one side to the other on the bed self Na war but how we wan do now. We thank God for bringing us this far and I know he will see us to the very end, there shall be no loss what so ever by his grace.

God remembered me for good by transferring my female supervisor to another branch and giving me a male supervisor that does not stress me at all, I'm just so happy that wahala madam who keeps saying she too has carried Belle before has gone.

It is well with us jare.

Feb moms how are we? Waddling has not been easy at all, honestly I never knew I would get this far but God is ever faithful. 33 weeks 3days today and the contraction or Braxton Hicks no he here I feel so much pressure and can't walk long distance yet I still go to work.

I decided to go for uss scan on Wednesday to check on babies and both are weighing 2.1kg each, is it possible they weigh same thing or scan man scammed me?

In other words I know we are getting there, I've not finished shopping but I don't just have strength for market again at all. Safe delivery to us all

Please those who have had cervical cerclage done before, I'ld like to know the stage in your pregnancy you had it done, what the whole procedure was, hospital charges and how well the pregnancy advanced?

I have been scheduled for a cerclage tomorrow and am worried about the procedure.

Cervical cerclage is a brief procedure I have one on presently which was done at 18 weeks though it is advices to be done earlier like say 13-14 weeks, I was under general anaesthesia and the whole procedure didn't last up to 2 hours. For the charges I can't say cos my HMO covered it.

I hope I answered your question if not other mamas will put in more. Don't be worried, everything will go on fine.

Hello ladies ...... So I have ported again.

Had my baby girl on the 27th Dec. @ 33weeks. had to be put in an incubator. It's so heart breaking seeing her like that. can't hold or touch. Grateful she is alive.

I need a good breast pump. no idea how much it goes for
manual / electric.

My dear teamie booqie I now waddle like a whale and people are just asking me to go on leave when edd is still till February o. This contraction you are talking about I embraced it since 28 weeks since it has refused to go even after doctors tried to stop it to prevent preterm labour. But I'm here taking each day as it comes and praying my babies bake well before coming out.

But for real I'm anxious already, can't wait to become a mum in the real sense. But somehow I'm worried I feel my tummy should be bigger than it is now since it's a twin pregnancy but it's not looking big for 30 something's weeks, anyways doc is not complaining and babies are kicking so...

Looooool. It's his nature. Nothing fazes him. It was initially annoying but i eventually got used to his "it's normal in pregnancy" to my every complaint

Believe me when/if there's cause for concern he will let you know. I used 2 hospitals for antenatal and the friendly, gist gist doctor in the other hospital was always confused

Ask any questions you want to, i harassed him with questions when i had them and he answered. The session is fast because honestly if there are no complications, an antenatal visit is actually quick.

Sorry to bother you ma'am, is antenatal appointment with Dr S usually rush rush? Cos with every of my complain his response is 'it is not unexpected' hubby and I are so used to this response that I hardly have anything to complain about self even when I'm not fine.
I feel I'm not getting enough response.
