BreconHills: I completely agree. Nigerian children are now transforming their gender in the uk. I know at least one where a girl has completely transformed using drugs provided free by the state. True. The west is not turning non religious, rather they are turning religious to the doctrine and teachings of liberalism and satanism. Most ppl do not know, they have be conditioned to see christainity and religeon as an enemy to free will and liberty, not knowing that they are subtely lead to satanism and self worship, which is also a religion. Check this site out, lots of this stuffs are discussed there. https://www.henrymakow.com/archives.html |

Tinubu has no achievements to show for himself, as a result, his supporters drag in Fashola’s work into the mix and try to credit it to their drug lord.
Some will even say that Tinubu put him there. Is that a good thing to boast about?! That a single man decides who rules a state despite us living in a democracy?
Smh! So true You dey mind the foolish ppl? We are complaining of bad leadership, yet ppl are clamouring for a man that epitomises godfatherism, corruption, buying of elective office using money. |

mu2sa2: The law says he's innocent until proven guilty, even as he committed the offence in the presence of witnesses and he himself isn't denying culpability. Now, he will be charged to court and the lawyers will defend him vigorously. The case will go all the way from the High Court to the Court of Appeal and in about 8-10 years ends up in the Supreme Court. If you're thinking the culprit doesn't stand a chance of eventually getting an acquittal, there's no need to call you, I'm sorry, a mumu. He may even be admitted to bail while the trial lasts. Let's also not forget that even if convicted, if he can connect the dots getting a pardon in Nigeria isn't rocket science. Only God knows your motive, behind this writeup. |

Stupid ignorant fool. Name what religious people have done but hypocrisy. All the governors, ministers, people working in civil service are religious people. We are the most religious people, but see Nigeria today, filled with criminals and hypocrites. Stupid fool. You are beginning to change the goal post again. Myself am not an overtly religious person. But for one to say that the religeon, brought by the West, is holding Nigeria down and is equivalent to poverty, means the person is not intelligent and sound. To answer your question, my argument is not in support of everyday church goers, my argument is that those who profess one faith or the other own over 90% of all the successful businesses in Nigeria, meaning your intail claim is false. |

baretalk: Some religious people are good, but the religious institutions is based off a system of control and manipulation, man is not a religious being, we are rational, reasonable and spiritual, religion was forced into people by the colonials and Arabs, then by their parents, some of its morals are okay, but hypocrisy and deciet is too much. Religion makes a lot of Nigerians hate each other, bokoharam and Iswap have religious ideology, Christians too see others not like them as being on the wrong path, and religion makes Nigerians gullible, some smart men are ripping them off forming pastors and GO 's making them wait for blessings, instead of them going to invest those money and time. Its morally bad, they all knew it was bad but nobody had the guts and power to do anything. King George and Wilberforce could do much because they were king and politician, respectively. Slavery were stopped by christains based on christains beliefs and teachings. Morality outside religious grounds, becomes relative. Example is the issue of same sex marriage, abortion, and many more controversial issues. Humans lacks the capacity to understand our very nature or self , talkless of to form genuine morals. |

It even told slaves how to obey their masters. Nowhere did it castigate slavery As usual. Who stopped slavery and why ? |

iramure: Religion is a serback to Africa and Africans.. it's a calculated attempt to render us stupid. Religion is the evil affecting our develpoments in every facet of life. All Nigeria general overseers owning mega business centrrs need to be arrested and jaiked for life because they are the ones who are further promoting the scams in religion because of thier own selfish intrest. When you have the opportunity to travel to a saner environment, it is then you will realise that religion is a modern day slavery/,bondage. Africans walk into in foolishly and are made to believe they are in the right place. Do You clowns even reason at all? Did religeon stop Tony Elumelu from starting and owning UBA, did it stop Adenuga from owning Glo, Conoil, did it stop Jim Ovia from owning and starting Zenith bank or Dangote who is a Muslim? I can go on and on, the evidence shows that the most successful ppl and wealth creators in Nigeria are all religious ppl, they are not atheists. So if they are ppl who have failed Nigeria it is traditional religious ppl and atheists. |

The reason why Nigerians become less religious while living abroad is very simple...they have seen the light to know that their religious indoctrination in Nigeria is NOTHING but hogwash. BreconHills: Firstly no country in the world can guarantee full employment and freedom from economic hardship. Many people turn their personal experiences into wisdom for the world.
Secondly, I think the post says more about our form of Christianity or religion than anything else. In our version faith is largrly a means of getting stuff rather than bringing God's will into the earth.
Finally, the poster may well be single or have no children yet. As his family grows he will understand the need for prayer and faith when the state starts moulding his children into its secular humanist model.
Then he will pray and fast. So true Most ppl are ingnorant, they think the west just woke up and became less religious. War is been waged continuously on family values, and christains morals and norms in those countries, using Celebrities, sports,TV, entertainment, politics e.t.c. |
