VEHINTOLAR:
I heard Mr Rinaldo is having a solo training in Madrid now, good for him ! When some people refuse to accept reality, that same reality has a way of dawning on them ! That is what will eventually become the case of Mr Ororo Ronaldo !

I tried to like Ronaldo for his skills on the football pitch and achievements in the game of football but I found it very difficult to tolerate his egoistic nature and penchants for craving all attentions all the time ! There is time for everyone and everything;time to shine and time to quit. Our chairman doesn't want to accept that;he wants to reign forever even when age is telling seriously on his performance !

I don't do all this Messi vs Ronaldo rivalry stuff; I consider it very childish. But truth be told,Messi appears a more likable person. He has this friendly demeanor on and off the pitch that makes me like him a lot. I'm rooting for Argentina solely because of Messi and I believe,by God's grace,he is winning this year world cup.
Amen.

Buhari one of the most fortunate citizens of Nigeria.
Fed by government from primary 1 to class 5 due to government policy of encouraging pupils and students in northern Nigeria to embrace western education.
Before he could finish his secondary joined Nigeria Army where government didn't just improve his feeding but started to send him to best of military schools all over the world.
Came back promoted to officer cadre of the Nigerian Army although not too long the civil war broke out which he participated as an officer with reduced risk of being at the warfront.
After the war became one of the key players of government changes and took lead in 1984.
Unfortunately for him it didn't take time before he was fed from the same spoon he had used to feed others by his collaborators.
He became embittered after then until luck shone on him again to lead democratically in 2015.
From 2015 till date it is life on cruise.
Very true.

Sometimes the most undeserving ppl are sometimes the most luck ppl.

you surely have a tremendous comprehension issue - when i told you the west embarks on selective justice - what do you understand i meant ? that is they choose who to prosecute and who to let go and that’s what you are agreeing to here - contradicting yourself

why must the US expose Congressman Jefferson of Louisiana who was in the mix of the Halliburton scandal - sent him to prison in that and Atiku Abubakar is allowed into the US not facing charges ? Just like you have Mexican Money Launderers who commit the same offense (although drug related) get hefty sentences - is crime not crime ? regardless of money laundering or drugs ?

You seem to focus on the symptoms of Nigerians not being able to prosecute corrupt leaders but you forget that those who incentivize their corruption by providing a safe haven for such loots are equally culpable… If western banks place right restrictions on money being deposited in their vaults by foreign politicians the way they restrict us here - corruption will reduce 90% overnight in Africa

I make bold to say your reasoning is very shallow, you see things at face value without employing the rudiments of deductive reasoning to know the root cause of issues

the law doesn’t view crime that way

that’s why actual criminals and conspirators or accessory to crimes are equally charged together and handed same sentences in most cases

for example, when i steal something and you buy it knowing it was stolen - the law will punish me and punish you too ipso facto — you are aiding and abetting crime

if you can’t get it , i guess IF your little brains has its limit of understanding complex arguments, then i won’t waste my time further

have a blessed day and merry christmas!
More crap as usual.

Is it US duty to prosecute your corrupt politicians for you?

Since they dealt with theirs what stopped Nigeria from dealing with theirs?

I have shown examples of how they try to reduce or deter corruption, but what has the Africans done on their own part to eliminate corruption?

You are only intrested in bashing the west, I guess you have not read that charity they say begins at home.

I am not finished bro, I am doing well as an business owner in Anaheim, CA - USA so do not think everyone commenting here is sitting idle at a bus stop at Ojuelegba doing nothing... I am looking beyond these visas- IF doctors are fleeing and the teachers leave (most likely maths and science teachers) then who will be left to groom the next generation ? Do you know currently Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world judging by the number of people living in poverty for any single nation on earth? And there is massive insecurity of lives and property so other nations whose citizens are taking advantage of the program may have a reason to return to their homelands because after a few years they may have conquered poverty and return to invest in their country of origin, but can that be said of Nigerians? Even if they make money, what country are they returning to? where they will be robbed, kidnapped, raped or killed?

When the UK and other world powers engage in selective justice of not exposing criminal politicians who hide stolen funds in their country - is that not a tacit approval for the underdevelopment of Nigeria? IBORI is a thief, but TINUBU who owns choice properties all over London is a Saint? how old were you in 1984 when Major General Muhammadu Buhari became Military Head of State? - I guess you were not even born then - when Alhaji Umaru Dikko, the Federal Minister of Transport under the President Shehu Shagari administration - stole N3 Billion - then almost $3.5 Billion (adjusted for inflation today should be in the region of today's $ 14 Billion) - and fled to Britain - do you know the British government shielded him from coming to Nigeria to face prosecution like his fellow politicians in the NPN then who robbed Nigeria dry?

Let's leave Nigeria for now - and let me ask you a simple question, have you studied African political history to discover how France and Belgium aided the likes of Mobutu Sese Seko of then Zaire, now DRC fleece the country of almost $30 Billion with all that money kept in European vaults? What of Obiang of Equatorial Guinea? Dos Santos of Angola, Paul Biya Mvodo of Cameroun? The Eyadema dynasty of Togo? Are western countries not allowing these rogues keep their loot in their countries? money meant to develop Africa? Even Abacha is still sending Nigeria money of millions of dollars from the grave after a quarter of century of his death... Is that not wonderful?

you talk like a kid... taking a look at insecurity, The western world have technology that can spot a frog on a sidewalk from space and there is nothing in Sambissa forest that is beyond drones and precision guided missiles - Why have they not helped Nigeria, Cameroun, Chad and Niger solve the insecurity challenges in the region? Why is there insecurity in northern Nigeria? you thing those hungry rag tag islamic fundamentalist have the power, money and connections to get the sophisticated arms they use if not aided by a foreign power ?

do you have sense at all or is your head paining you?
More crap and baseless points.

It's amazes me how you hypocrites claim to hate the whiteman but find comfort and security living in the midst of whites.

All this figures you are mentioning are factless and baseless.

Are you expecting US to arrest Tinupoo on behalf of Nigeria? and for what crime?

Do Americans and Europeans wait for us to help them arrest their corrupt politicians,

Blacks are always good at blaming others, when Ibori and late Alamesia former governor of bayelsea were both released by UK prisons for corruption and money laundering, and they both returned to Nigeria, what happened?
They were received and conferred with several chieftance titles by the very persons they looted their treasury.

Was it not the US SEC that exposed the KBR and Halliburton scandal over the awarding of NLNG contracts running into 100s of millions of $?

While EFCC and ICPC were busy chasing shadows.

There are several strategies the West use in stopping corruption in Africa, I remember few years ago it was impossible for Nigerians and Africans to send money abroad using PayPal, western union ,money gram e.t.c this and other measures were put in place to check mate money laundering by corrupt African politicians.

At the expense or loss of business revenue for this companies.

You think you understand world politics? I bet you you know nothing.

The only way someone can enslave you forever is to give you language, education, religion. They are like the immune system that protects a culture from intrusion and against distraction, destruction, disorientation, death.

Once you've accepted a foreign language, education, religion, it means that your culture has lost natural immunity to protect itself, therefore, you (yourself) would justify your enslavement as the right thing because you have nothing to protect yourself. And you die!! Because any illness can freely go in.

Over the past 7 years, I've warned Africans that there's no way the UK can survive outside the EU unless they re-colonize their former colonies. There's no way they can! As far as economy goes, all they have are international oil and banking cartels but with the rise of China and few other Asian countries coming to their senses and the shift to green energy, their control has waned and would continue to do so. The only way the UK can survive outside of the EU would be to re-colonize their former colonies and what you're seeing here is just the beginning. Quote me anyway.

Nairaland educated slave mods don't allow me to add links anymore for people to get additional information about what's being said. If you need more information, go to www.africason.com and read the article: it's time to abolish the common wealth of nations. The commonwealth was set up for cases like this. That's it's real purpose. Also read: Europe and Arabia have launched an economic warfare against Africa. There I've warned for the past 7 years that these are exactly the type of gimmicks the UK would resort to after exiting the European Union.

I've checked history and I can tell you for sure that these little things you see today would evolve into something completely unrecognizable in the next 50 to 100 years.

We are going to be re-enslaved in Africa. It would evolve, so we won't realize it until we get there stuck.

I can see it clearly coming.

Indians has one of the highest number of geniuses in the world

Many engineering and medical textbooks used in Nigerian unis are written by Indians

Yet India is not classified as a developed nation. It's almost as bad as nigeria

Iran has very brilliant minds in engineering yet they're still suffering.

An average us citizen is not more intelligent than an Iranian

When it comes to how developed a nation is/can be, politicians have more to do to it than scientists.

Nigerians are intelligent and the evidence is everywhere. Check the performances of nigerians in foreign unis

Nigerians are the most educated/successful sub group in the USA.

The problem with nigeria is that greed and corruption have created a hazardous environment where talents and intelligence are suffocated.

An environment that neglects honesty and integrity bit celebrates ill acquired wealth.

With proper governance nigeria will in no time be competing with the Western world.

Lack of intelligent minds has never been our problems.

The reason we are where we are is down to terrible leadership and culture
There are levels to this shit.

An Indian is several times more intelligent than your average Nigerian but less intelligent than an average European or American, same with Iran, and it is evident in there level of development.

You cannot runaway from race and intelligence

You understand that intelligent alone does not determine how far a nation developes right?.. especially if greed and corruption has created an unabling environment for talents to flourish.

Even intelligence can be used for the wrong reason as in those who use their brains to make sophisticated weapons of mass destruction. Or the ones engaging in sophisticated cyber crime

Intelligence can be used for right and wrong reasons

Nigerians are very intelligent only that most times the intelligence is used for wrong reasons or it's suffocated.

Just check the exploits of our graduates abroad and you'll understand what I'm talking about
You still don't get it.

If intelligence does not determine the success of a country what else determines a country's success?

Corruption and bad leadership are not isolated issues they are evidence of low intelligence.

It is said that no country can develop higher than the average IQ of the population of its ppl
There is a real correlation between a country's wealth and level of development to the average IQ of its citizens.

Which exploits did Nigerians do Abroad?

stop d hate! D Croatia that Argentina won is it ref? D Saudi Arabia that beat Argentina is it ref? It's normal to have your preferences but it's a shame to hate on someone. I'm a diehard United fan, but right from time I like Messi even though Ronaldo played for us n even broke the barrier of a player from EPL winning ballon d'or. He gave us fond memories; we love him, he left when he's in his peak going to Madrid to shatter records (no love lost) even though it hurts seeing him leave then.
As for Messi, it is a normal thing not to like him cos he had broken our hearts (TWO UCL finals). I always love and appreciated his contribution to football. Watching him is magical just like a work of art. The only thing I didn't like about him is that he's in Barcelona. Most united n Barca fans are not friends.
As fans of any club, We always want to see best, he has played his part.
One of the things that has made people like Argentina is not always about Messi, for years they always have a star-studded side even for Ps2grin
One thing to know n like about this present Messi is hardwork; He now marks, dive into tackles not waiting for people to do it for him. He leads by example as a captain.
As for Ronaldo, even though most united fans don't like how it ended recently, we love m appreciate his work for football n d world. We wish him all the best. If wishes were horses, we would have wanted him to face Messi in the finals.
All the same football is all about teamwork, Messi n Ronaldo can't do it alone, if they can they should play alone v11. It's a great thing to have witnessed both of them, the best for you may not be the best for me. As for me, I'll take Messi any day any time. He is my favourite player, the best in the world and the greatest of all time.
This Sunday regardless of who wins today, everybody deserves to win. In 2014,they played well in the tournament but unluckily lost in Extra time. They haven't played as explosive this time around but they always find a way. On Sunday, we hope and pray they win
