Negative. It is written by the Trump Administration who was "The Government" at that time. Check out WhiteHouse.gov. That is Biden's page. In the US, we don't have a "Whitehouse Press" as that would be state news. We do have a Whitehouse Press corps which includes members of the press (CNN, Fox etc). They did not write this site.

It was archived by the National archives, which archives all public records, which that website is. The National Archives do not judge the veracity of the site or any documents they archive.

What you see on that site is what Trump wants to put out to the world. No-one is going to check the veracity on what he puts on that site. And honestly, you read that site and it sounded to you like it was written by a neutral press organization?

Or are those sites lying? I'm not asking you to believe me, CNN or Trump. Do your own research, look at the data/charts and believe yourself. And I guarantee you CNN will come closer to the Truth than anything Trump says.

Ex. I did this with this "US was energy independent under Trump because of his Policies" narrative. Wanted to understand what it was about because it was suspicious because oil companies take a while to produce more oil and so I was doubtful his polices had any real effect. So I went to the government bureau's site that is responsible for monitoring the data (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=pet&s=mcrfpus2&f=m) and checked out the numbers. And as I suspected the narrative was suspect. 1.) Oil production has been increasing before Trump took office. 2.) Oil production dipped during the Pandemic because no was driving. 3.) Oil production was close to the same rate it was in the Biden Admin as it was under the Trump administration and will probably be a record in 2023. 4.) And so the "energy independence" was largely because we were producing more than we used because the US was in a Pandemic. 5.) The reason gas prices were higher is because Trump negotiated a deal with OPEC+ to reduce oil production, because gas prices had gotten too low during the pandemic (people were in Lockdown) and the US oil sector couldn't survive with those prices. Imagine President Trump complaining about increased gas prices when it's something he negotiated. But that's the genius of Trump. His lie is quick and easy, but to the explain the truth is too long to fit in a quick sound byte. And too complex for "liberal media" to really explain.
