Nobody wants war, it's common sense for Iran to stand down, stop being an existential threat to the middle east and the world in general, then the US would stop their sanctions, improve the Iranian economy by allowing Iranian oil flow through the crude oil market, connect Iran to the global trade market, allowing for increased peace and prosperity to the people....Look at Qatar, UAE, hell even Iraq. But when you being embarrassed in front of the whole world, the first thing in your head is revenge.So I guess Israel and US will just have to flatten Iran to the stone age at this point..

Don't u see how UAE & Qatar are making good use of their oil money, which has attracted tourists. But Iran is all about nuclear weapons, their economy is in complete shambles!

You can put all of your investment in one fund manager for MMF, but for equity it should be two because every fund manager don't have same stocks in their basket. This week maybe good for Cardinal stone, next week will be green for zedcrest. No fund manager can always have it green when it comes to equity.

US & Israel are targeting Iranian military sites & commanders. Iran on the other hand is targeting tourists in Dubai & civilian sites, how can such a country be trusted with Nuclear weapons? They will certainly abuse it. Their approach to war says a lot

Please u need to stop over flogging this issue. If not for the equity thread equity.m created recently one wouldn't have been getting any update. This thread wasn't like this few months ago. This argument of which mmf is supreme is making this place very toxic. Let everyone do their thing. Those that want to do high rate mmf should do so, those that want to continue with the likes of Stanbic should do so. No point overstretching this issue, it is making this thread very uninteresting.

They are no longer holding up if they lost their supreme leader like a fowl even before the war started. You can only be talking about holding up if they take out Israel prime minister in retaliation. Anything short of that is total waste of time. Even if Israel decide not to strike them again, they have already won this war by taking out their supreme leader.

By the time these neighboring countries start responding I will see what will be left of Iran. A country that can't even match only Israel, wants to face almost all the countries in middle east in addition to Israel & US. To think their economy is already in shambles. Iran is a country with bad leaders!

A country whose supreme leader was k!lled like a fowl is not a strong country. If they can't target Israeli prime minister in retaliation, then they should stop engaging in war. If your opponent is taking out key leaders in your country & all u do is to send missiles blindly to tourists in neighboring country, u shouldn't be fighting war. The last time this happened, Israel k!lled all the generals in Iran. Doesn't make sense anymore.

This was exactly the same time Russia attacked Ukraine in 2022 Feb/march & Bitcoinn pumped that same March. I still remember vividly. To me the Russia/Ukraine war was even a more serious war than this. Russia war was invasion, this one is regime change & moreover the leader has been k!lled & most Iranians are jubilating. I don't see this war disrupting the market.

Another alternative is NIDF; it pays around 24YTD per annum, but it's like a share—you have to buy it from the stockbrokers.

Hmm I won't advice the bold though, I feel 10 years is too much of a long time to remain on one rate. Except u can opt out at anytime. Government change can alter so many things. Before this government came into power I think mmf was doing around 9/10%, but today some are doing 19% & it still feels like nothing. Because of new govt policies that can drive inflation so badly. I will only advise anyone to lock funds for maximum of 3 years in an unstable economy like ours.

You don't need to lecture me about Iran or religion. Iran has been linked to a lot of terrorists group, this goes beyond sovereignty, but about world peace. Imagine a group like ISIS having access to nuclear weapons, do u know the damage it will cause to the world? Put sentiment & religion aside, Iran should not be allowed to have any nuclear weapons for now. Their level of religion extremism do not permit such level of tolerance.

America has been changing regimes in different nations since God knows when. A combination of US & Israeli forces make this a cake walk. This war won't even last 2 months before this regime will exit power. Alot of Iranians are not happy with the regime. We have seen this played out in Libya & Iraq before. Nothing new here.

Some of us have been with them long before mutual funds even became mainstream. And we’ve also had times we’ve praised them too. That’s exactly why we can say this without emotion: they’ve fallen off!….at the moment at least.

And the app? What exactly are we praising here? Graphics? Other platforms also execute the same core functions needed of any investor seamlessly, so of what use is aesthetics to me. Meanwhile, how many funds have you actually tried to reach this sweeping conclusion?

I don't think so, equity fund is mmf compared to cryptto. Equity is buying stocks through experts. Cryptto is the most riskiest asset class of investment. I have been in cryptto for the longest of time, doing equity seem like mmf to me.
