Since u were born in this country, have u seen anything that has ever gone up & come down?? Naira didn't start falling under this govt, check history since 1999, it has been on a steady decline. What is worrying is the rate at which it is falling under this govt, not that it won't fall, we don't have the economy capacity to support the naira to withstand usd without paying subsidy on it. You people actually think binance is responsible for naira fall😂😂 How much do u think Nigerians have on binance? Binance is only publishing what u people want to see. Only binance have these rates.

A country without power supply, high insecurity, all companies have left for Ghana due to high cost of production, high corruption, no export, high unemployment, high debt, u think it is one small boy with less than 50k usdt in binance doing P2P that is making the currency of such a nation to fall? This is what most people don't understand.
They don't know these companies have running expenses. Before the removal of subsidy & floating naira, was anyone increasing price of goods?

The inflation is no longer at par with the exchange rate. Prices of goods should no longer be increasing geometrically the way it is right now. Naira is starting to hold it's own against the dollar, suddenly a carton of indomie spiked from 8,500 to 10k, bag of rice went from 70k to 85k within the space of a couple of days. Exchange rate, subsidy removal or floating of the naira has nothing to do with this. The manufacturers and middlemen must be called to order

Subsidy removal has a lot to do with it.
It has already altered the market & will take some time for things to settle. Truth is, then most retailers were selling old stock at a slightly adjusted price to enable them restock due to price increase, now they are getting new stock and selling at the increased rate, reason for the new price increase. The price u bought before was old stock which they increased slightly to enable them restock. The naira is still fluctuating, let's wait for it to maintain a consistent price for at least one to two months. You need to put yourself in their shoes to understand.

The indomie I'm currently having was bought at around 6,500 per carton, now I'm hearing it's over 10k. Once I'm done with that carton, I'm not buying again. Blame your govt for making thoughtless policies that is ruining the economy. If the indomie manufacturer doesn't increase his price, how do u want him to restock & purchase rice & drugs that is going up? It's a ripple effect thingy. So long some products are being increased, every other will increase. The blames starts from the govt for carelessly removing subsidy & floating d naira without providing an enabling ground to cushion the negative effects, leaving manufacturers at the mercy of increase.

Nobody is wicked here, it will soon increase in your area. In my area they increased it to 600 naira per bag just this morning. They went on strike since last week & this morning they resumed & increased it to 600 naira.

My dad & mum are the only ones at home now. I think the only thing there is, I believe there is a fulfilment that comes with knowing u have children u can call on, even if they aren't there with u, than having no one to call at all.

Retailers are the ones exploiting people. They keep making calls up and down to set a new rate for prices of old stocks. That wine must have been produced over a year ago, so hiking the price is senseless.

I used to reason like this before, till i put my self in their shoes. If they don't increase their stock, where will they get money to restock at high price? If new price is selling for 5k & they are still selling 2500, where will they get the remaining 2500 to restock? You want them to start running at a loss? What about other things they get to survive that have increased? Pure water in my area is now 6h going to 1k per bag, u expect people not to add price to their goods?

Fuel ought to be around 1500 per liter if not for subsidy. Why do u think fuel remained below 700 when all other products are flying up? They realized Nigerians will revolt if fuel starts skyrocketing without control, so they started subsidizing it. Something they removed at 195, they started paying more at 700.

Osinbajo remained silent in the face of all the terrible things going on during the Buhari administration and he will be judged for that. History isn't interested in what Osinbajo could have done - it is interested in what he did. People knew Osinbanjo had no say in Buhari govt. The little time he was given to rule, when buhari travelled, everyone saw improvement in the nation. Anyways there is no point arguing, it is already in d past. But my point is, tinubu interest in presidency, hugely affected Osinbanjo chance. Having the support of key party members like tinubu would have won Osinbanjo the election. People started rooting for Obi when APC kicked Osinbanjo out.
