mancoconut: We already have a midfield generation of:- Alhassan Yusuf (effectively Ndidi's replacement) Raphael Onyedika Eberechi Eze Michael Olise Lesley Ugochukwu Chukwuemeka (though this one will be harder cause he's deep within the English youth system).
And then permanently retire deadweights like Etebo,Bonke etc from the team..keep only Iwobi and maybe Aribo, Ndidi is still quality but he's too injury prone and we can't rely on him everytime so he needs competition
And then we can try converting some of our wingers into attacking mids, players like Lookman, Chukwueze, Chuba Akpom and Nathan Tella have all played off the shoulders of main strikers upfront as support strikers/ false 9s, we can try such set up in the national team. loll, you guys are calling names of players that have not yet committed their future to the Super Eagles, dribbling us like ball I don't know when we will start to develop our football in Naija so that we won't become the second choice of some European born players If England declares even the slightest interest in some of them, even if it's to chop bench, they will jump at it without hesitation I am not eager to see any of them in the GWG. In my mind sef, I see them as England players |

Marjoribanks: If Chukweze is the one missing 1v1s like Vinicious Jr is doing right now, I am certain that he will definitely not start the next match. African players are expected to be 100% each game while Brazilians or Argentines often get a pass! Sad truth |

Danielnino00: I already mentioned all these sometimes ago with thesupernerd.... The team is struggling because the core members of the team are off form and aged... We need an overhaul...I however don't agree that we are in trouble or out of contention for top 4... 2021/222 season was like this.. but we eventually made top 4.. I believe we can still make it this season . Not this time bro and I will be kinda glad if we don't make top 4 The owners will never see reason to invest in a proper midfield if we somehow sneak into top 4 They would always expect those miracles to happen rather than do the actual work of investing and signing properly We had no reason bringing in Gakpo. THat Gakpo money should have been put into a combative midfielder Now, no top player would want to come to a team that didn't make top 4. FSG and Klopp have themselves o blame And please FSG needs to leave...they have reached their glass ceiling of football ownership. hey can' offer us more Seems also like the Qatari/Saudi consortium has backed ou and we are stuck with them |

Danielnino00: Emeka is capping... Man Utd fans were all over Twitter crying when the news of Gakpo joining Liverpool broke out .. even Ten Haag spoke out about it... And when Chelsea got Joao Felix, they cried more..
Gakpo is a good player.. same with Nunez... Liverpool are just on a poor run of form... nothing spoil... Lolll Poor run of form that has knocked us out of contention for top 4 Poor run of form that makes you loose to brighton twice Poor run of form where Salah has scacely cored in how many matches now? Baba, the team is in trouble Juve is on a poor run of form. Same with Madrid (in their respective leagues) WHat you have is not a poor run of form but the beginning of the end of an era. It was fun while it lasted Plus, we have owners that don't want to buy new midfielders but sell off all the bench players and replace them with academy boys Poor run of form? Hahahahahahahahaha |

charlesemeka85: Osimhen will be this years APOTY winner. Done and dusted 💯 NOpe They'll give it to mane if Bayern does well in UEFA I can bet you that if both Napoli and Bayern make it to semi final and both get knocked out, they'll still find a way to give Mane and they'll use FIFA ranking of country to justify it. It's like you don't know CAF Osimhen would have to perform so unreal to win it |

Innobee99: Am living well with my family bro. If not u would have seen my post begging for arms on Nairaland I didn't say you're not doing okay. We thank God for that But you'll agree with me that saying one needs to fix date and funds would start coming in "miraculously" is misleading A bachelor planning to marry should know how much is in his account and plan accordingly while ensuring he cuts his coat accoring to his cloth. This is just common sense. Believe in God doesn't remove common sense |
