There's no loyalty in that and TBH, I am wary of such players |

Amedino99: maybe they are looking at his record. Tbh I think he is the coach with the best record since 1966. One wc semi final, one wc quarter finals and a euro final. I'm not sure there is any other manager with such records. his style may not be pleasing to the eyes but note that he has achieved more than the coach that handled the golden generation. ou are right Southgate is actually the best English coach in my lifetime Its not his fault Kane couldn't convert a second penalty |

TheSuperNerd: Ask them to list the achievements that makes Finidi a better choice than Amunike.
Ask them to also explain Finidi's playing philosophy and Amunike's and how his philosophy (if they know it) can help transform the Super Eagles plays.
This is where they will struggle for words. Bro, you ought to know the monicker that is behind the "finidi" agenda Even you yourself says it that he is a professional capper To boroow komekn's word, his opinion is based on emotive sentiments rather than tactical analysis and an understanding of the game That particular guy always spews diarrhoea from his mouth. Mujtahida: All I know is that victory or a loss alters analysis. You are the best when you win and awful when you are defeated. Brazil were the best until they lost and all of a sudden I read how Vinicius, how Neymar don't track back. Now Morocco is the best. Okay ooo
Again everybody (except the winner of the final) who is rejoicing now will cry at the semi and the final. Yes, that is life It is nothing to wail about. The best team is the winner and vice versa If Brazil were the best, why didn't they hold on to the lead they had? |

Barryseal: Not to scoff at the record but it wasn't as if Tanzania beat a heavyweight to qualify for the tournament. They were grouped with Cape Verde, Lesotho and Uganda. They only qualified because Cape Verde couldn't win their last game. At the Afcon proper, I don't think they scored a goal. I want Amuneke to succeed if made the Super Eagles handler but he needs a profound and convincing outing on the continent, not results based on luck. The same cape Verde beat us in Lagos or am I mistaken? |

komekn: Do you remember when Glen Hoddle was in consideration for the Eagle's job, a coach and Manager with world class pedigree.
This is a guy of unquestionable integrity without blemish and a very good management and player record.
He is not hungry he has substantial Wealth and is a born again Christian.
He accepted the position but declined when they asked him to share his salary with NFF officials, he quite rightly was abhorrent and refused in no uncertain terms.
Nigeria can attract the best Managers in the world but our reputation precedes us. And there are many here that will defend the NFF and say they are not corrupt.
I don't think anybody here would defend the corrupt NFF. The truth is sharing of coaches salary is a situation where the abnormal has become the norm. Just like other facets of Nigerian Society. It's a pity. And yes, it's good that Glen hoddle rejected that nonsense |

jihday: you are wrong, very very sef. They are professional footballers besides as the NT coach you are free to call any player that will suite your game plan, unless you are telling me there are no Nigerian footballers that can play the way he wants which will be very laughable. P.S I’m not sold on Amunike himself. Yes he is very wrong We played such a similar style at the just concluded AFCON So, I don't know why he said that |

TheSuperNerd: Thank you so much Sir GoodJoe.
Even elsewhere, after I mentioned Amunike and gave reasons why and even explained that he and the Current Morocco coach are kinda similar in playing style and tactical philosophy, they talked it down but I put them on the spot.
I said... okay, who then? Give me a feasible coaching solution not just anyone out of fantasy thoughts. It must be someone we can realistically go for.
Guess what... they just couldn't. Even the one named wasn't up to par.
I cited Amunike's current work in Zambia with Zanaco. None of them knew about it until I mentioned it first time. Only for some to do half baked research and still try to attack that point.
Most people will always oppose even without having a viable solution themselves. Hey man, don't forget my post about beer parlor owners on this thread When you remember that, smile and understand where they are coming from |

The super eagles doesn't have the clout to attract a proven winner. Enrique or Deschamps or even Steve Cooper will not come here. So you say proven winner, you are not being realistic.
We have to make the most of what we have. Based on qualifications and philosophy, Amunike stands out.
Unless you can suggest the proven winner you want instead of Amunike, you are not really opposing my point but making an imaginary suggestion. Thanks for this Maybe he is expecting Wenger or Sir Alex Ferguson Not even Joachim Loew or even Herve Renard would come here |
