His Enyimba side's 2-1 loss away at Plateau Utd yesterday was his 17th league loss since he took Enyimba job. AN overrated coach that has been found out I was one of those that thought this guy was really something. But I was wrong Chai |

Mujtahida: The point is this: is there a culture of age cheating in England? No. So practically how that plays out is that even if you see a 30 year old looking player in England say he's 19, You will believe him because the record is captured at birth and the opportunity for alteration is almost zero.
But what is our situation? It is an endemic national culture for people to engage in falsifying their age. And in football the incentive is greater because of financial rewards that come with the game.
So the default position of doubting player's ages in Nigeria is justified. Don't blame the doubters, blame the culture. God bless you for thi take SIr I personally know many age cheats that made it to Europe on the bac of lie Know one old papa at 28 yrs that claimed 17 to get into shakhtar Donestk u-17 that time People here will think we want to bring our own down. Some of us know agents and players and are quite close to the scheme of things So yes, I will disbelieve most Naija players age until strong evidence proves otherwise |

komekn: You know some statistics are an exercise in irrelevant nonsense , they tell you nothing and indicate nothing.
Haaland has scored 21 goals and he is not on the list and Arnautovich who is next to V.O. in Seria A goals table is not on the list. Salah is on the list but has only scored 7 this season, meanwhile Mitrovic is not on the list and he has scored 12 in the EPL.
If anything it could be seen in the negative as poor marksmanship Salah 120 shots 7 goals.
Statistics are indicative and far from being conclusive depending on the variable. You have a point. I am partly in support of you but what I don't support is your statement about "statistics as an exercise in irrelevant nonsense" because to sell a player, stats are the first thing to look out for |

His attributes are hard work, more hard work and keep working hard and he will do that for 90+ minutes non stop in addition he had a good amount of game intelligence and anticipation.
He is what the French call a water carrier, however he is in the engine room and enables the more technically gifted players to play better. Bro komekn, Henderson just works hard but not smart He runs around without a predetermined direction. That's what I mean |

Windscribe: The just concluded Qatar world cup was considered has the most interesting in recent editions, filled with buzz, excitement and all, the Cyber space was light, what about the bragging right for being a participant? The super eagles failed to qualify. However, failure to qualify might not be a big deal as Nigeria was not the only absentee, but I think failure to qualify should bring an end to these hypes our average players enjoy on this thread. In our first leg game against Ghana, we all saw how your 250m rated striker was strolling round the pitch like and external invigilator, no impact... Nothing. Ditto with the second leg, man missed lots of big chances.
Are you not jealous of Morocco's display? Tunisia's 4points in a group comprising France, Denmark and Aussie ( even beating France in a stellar display)
Cameroon 4 points even beating almighty Brazil.. The black cats were not exempted, making Ghanaians proud in a little way.
But here, the show of shame continues, the show which I would liken to group of kegites, show of ogogoro freaks.
A member few hours back called an unknown Olisa ndah "one of the best defenders in the world"
Both Vlahovic and Nunez are better than Osimhen. I agree with all you said except for the osimhen part Dude is good although not world class yet We need to stop hyping the rest because tbh, none of them apart from Jim are worth the hype |

charlesemeka85: Football fans see former Nigerian international Peter Rufai as a legend for his role in the Super Eagles’ 1994 Africa Cup of Nations victory.
Debo Thomas, a Nigerian businessman residing in Ibadan, Oyo State, claims that Peter Rufai, a former Super Eagles goalkeeper, defrauded him of one million naira.
According to a FIJ investigation, Peter Rufai was introduced to Debo Thomas by a friend in 2021 when he started making plans to establish a sports center in the nation.
According to reports, Rufai fell in love with the concept and made a pledge to give the outline of a task he finished in Belgium.
According to Thomas, Rufai initially resisted taking payment for the design template.
Rufai shared the UBA account where the money should be sent, but he agreed to be paid whatever sum Thomas thought appropriate for his input.
But after a million naira was deposited into Peter Rufai’s account, problems erupted as the former star of Deportivo La Coruna took exception at the meager sum and demanded more.
Thomas was irritated by Rufai’s inconsistent behavior and refusal to provide the template paper, so he requested a refund from the former shot-stopper and informed him that he was no longer interested in moving further with the project.
When it became apparent that Rufai had no intention of returning the million naira, Thomas subsequently brought the situation to court.
Rufai was required to reimburse the businessman when the court found in Thomas’ favor. But in response, Peter Rufai had Debo Thomas taken into custody.
The former international has refused to comment on the accusations, stating that the case is still pending in court, despite FIJ’s best efforts to contact him.
Fraud’s previous relationship with Peter Rufai
Peter Rufai will become involved in another case of financial misadventure after this one.
In 2013, the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations champion was accused of stealing a grant worth 200,000 euros intended for a football project in Belgium’s Nigerian community.
It was claimed that the former Lokeren goaltender stole the cash and vowed never to return. According to reports, Rufai threatened to face jail time if he ever set foot on Belgian soil once more.
Rufai, however, refuted the accusations, claiming he had never received money from the Belgian government.
Peter Rufai, who is frequently cited as one of Nigeria’s all-time best goalkeepers, played for a number of clubs in the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Belgium.
But Rufai’s career’s most memorable events occurred while he was playing with the Super Eagles.
Rufai was Nigeria’s first-choice goalkeeper at the FIFA World Cups in 1994 and 1998, and he has represented Nigeria at multiple Africa Cup of Nations competitions.
He assisted Nigeria in winning the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, the nation’s second continental crown. See them same sith siasia criminals, the whole lot of them |

Odunayaw: And we'd be here dreaming of Tiki-taka and AFCON trophy and WC semi final
De play, jus de play Hence the reason for my rejoinder about how we can go around it. I remember tagging you I am sure if the Executive arm invites infantino for a talk about this and he comes, and then we proceed to show him precedents of how our coaches are being owed salaries for months, he will agree to make an exception for Nigeria because it's obvious that NFF need strong hands. It seems they are accountable to no one For Nigerian football, it seems that EFCC and ICPC needs to interfere regularly. The reason these football administrators brazenly do this is because of FIFA's law. Let us start to make a scapegoat of one person |
