Politics / Re: Defection: PDP Gives Saraki, Dogara, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso, Others 2wk Deadline by Bluemalam: 7:31am On Jul 22, 2018
PDP is desperate, and desperation often leads to mistakes.

With the way they're begging rAPC, Tambuwal, Saraki & Co. will demand an arm and leg before they join them, and PDP is already playing from a position of weakness.

On the flip side, they will seize the PDP back from Secondus' & Wike's grip, saving it from becoming a regional party.

Politics / Re: Atiku Declares Presidential Bid, Pledges To Restore Economy by Bluemalam: 7:24am On Jul 22, 2018
Hasn't this topic graced front page before? This one that Atiku has already started sharing money on NL...hmm...

Atiku has nothing new to offer. He was VP and head of the economic team, yet he did not rescue our economy then.

Is it now that we are recovering after a recession due to poor leadership during oil boom PDP years that he wants to perform magic?

Marvel, have mercy on people naw Biko. You want BP to come and go and kill people abi?

As the interval between notification and reporting for duty is usually 3 weeks (same as recent ND recruits), and the APL's already issued indicate August 13th as date of assumption of duty, logically this week starting from July the 23rd is the last week DPR has to notify ALL successful applicants.

Logically speaking o, because Nigerian affairs sometimes defy logic.

Fingers crossed and good luck to all of us smiley.

She caused the quarrel with her insecurity, lack of trust, insulting your parents. That last one is a NO NO. You have the right to be angry.

However, when it comes to that property, it is hers. You used your own share of the money to take care of your father which is very good. You also used part to complete your parent's house. Then contributed the rest to finish the house. What you used your own share of the money for are commendable. Very commendable. I will advise you to forget that property. You are wrong in demanding that she give up that property.
If she has apologized and you still love her, take her back but don't live in that house. As a man, you need to live in a house where you have control. Wish you the best

Most sensible advice by miles.

I think it is random. Only one person from South East has testified?

Kenex4ever testified to have seen several names of successful applicants from the S/East + the names were categorised by department on the physical list, hence the assumption that calls are taking the same pattern. Patience is key.

please house do we have any GT(HR) that has been called?

It doesn't seem so. It appears focus today was on Engineers/Technical Personnel.

Also strongly doubt people are being called in alphabetical order, it'd be too strenuous and repetitive. Most likely by dept/state.

Na so shaa... grin

Seriously, the salary difference between these MDA'S and some other federal workers is almost criminal in nature. How can someone be grossing up to 3 to 5 times of the salary of another person in the same level and under the same employer. Absurd.

Not that absurd when you consider the fact that one is a revenue generator while the other is a revenue consumer.

Get your point though.

Continuity shows leadership with a vision.

Just like he completed the Abuja-Kaduna Rail, this is how PMB will complete the 2nd Niger Bridge and Lagos-Ibadan Expressway soon.

All hail the Completer-General of the Federation.

@allhopefuls, pls take note @bolded

Interesting.

I would imagine that it'd be difficult for a chemical or petroleum engineer, or even an environmentalist to break into management @ DPR due to their technical background; but don't you think someone with a degree and MSc in management and starts a career in the corporate services department has a better chance of rising and breaking into management eventually?

Or are the obstacles the same across board? Kindly clarify.

Today is Wednesday, the 4th of July, 2018 - the day after the final speculated date for the APL's to drop in this speculation series as offered by the now defunct Marvel64.

It is also the day I unfollow this thread, until the elusive APL's eventually drop.

Good Morning Folks. Good luck smiley

Good morning hopefuls.
It's very interesting reading all the comments on this thread. The end of this recruitment is here already. However, this is what I know for now.

- The letters are actually at the Dpr zonal offices. If you have good link, you'll have known this since last week. Marvel is right. Anyway, I am not forcing anyone to believe, but this recruitment will end this week.

Wishing everyone the best of luck, including my humble self.

Correct!

Politics / Re: The 9 Candidates Running For Presidency 2019 by Bluemalam: 5:16pm On Jul 01, 2018
Correction, the so-called 'middle belt' or North Central is not limited to Plateau and Benue States.

Infact historically, apart from those 2 states, the remaining 4 NC states (Niger, Kogi, Kwara, Nassarawa - 70% of 'middle belt') are and have always been Pro-Buhari. I urge you to check and confirm.

PMB's Nassarawa visit remains the biggest and most spectacular in recent time. Be guided.

namet:
Yes, but the North of 1959 is not the North of today. The North of 1959 included the Middle Belt. Today, the Middle Belt is wiser, especially with all the killings that Buhari's fulani is promising them. So, without the Middle Belt the North is nothing, politically.

However, what I'll agree with you is that the South have always been politically immature and idiotic. Ofcourse, the ethnic/tribal superiority fight between the Yorubas and the Igbos, which guarantee a divided southern bloc, will more than likely tilt the election outcome. To what direction? That remains unclear, for now.

What is certain, notwithstanding, is the huge opportunity that this political dislocation provides the Nigerian youth; the opening for them to "snatch power" from the clueless oldmen. But sadly, those we call the youth don't have time.

The youth are busy showing nake.d pictures online; they're showing off their used cars; they're bragging about ritual killings for yahoo plus plus; they're arguing with Kenyans on Nairaland that Nigeria is better, even with no electricity, instead.... Sad to say, but the irresponsibility and dumbness of the youth in this country makes me weep for our future, because that future is bleak!

The time is now for ALL YOUTH GROUPS from ALL PARTS OF NIGERIA to meet and agree on one qualified candidate, who'd then contest for the Presidency in 2019.

It favors "Expats" the more.

I agree. If coming from the UK that's just £300 a month, which is almost ridiculous cos that would get you nothing more than a basic room in a shared student house if it was in their country.
