Extremely sad. My first thought was to urge for a reopening of the case. But if the police reopens all unsolved murder cases, how would it deal with new ones?

Why is the information at the public domain, and why are they asking PDP for suggestion on how to fix the problems, I think they won election promising magical changes and now are asking for advise.

Are you too ashamed of yourself to modify your garbage? Or are you waiting till Christ's second coming to do that? Tomorrow, you'll open your odoriferous orifice wide to call others illiterates. Do you now see that you are the illiterate here?

My advice to you: quit all that pseudo-intellectualism of yours (same advice to that crayon fellow); then recall what we were all taught in Primary School (assuming you attended a good one): Read a passage thoroughly and understand it, before attempting to analyze or answer questions based on it. The advice is free

This is a massive statement of intent. Baba, the actualization of these laudable objectives requires will and support. Your strong will to succeed is not in doubt. However, you need to assemble some of the best brains in Nigeria to help you fix this country. May Allah guide you and your team as you set about this onerous task, ameen.

PS: Public declaration of your assets by you and your political appointees is very much welcome and germane to the anti-corruption fight. However, you may wish to go a step further, by sending a bill to the national assembly for the amendment of the Code of Conduct Bureau Act, to make it MANDATORY for all political office holders to PUBLICLY declare their assets prior to taking up office. That way, it becomes legally binding.

Congratulations Nigerians!

Surely, our democracy is deepening; gradually we shall continue to purge ourselves of primordial sentiments and vote candidates in or out based strictly on performance. After 16 years of PDP misrule, it sure feels like i have been liberated.

I may be a staunch GMB supporter, but i'll be one of the first to vote him/his party out in 2019 should he fail to deliver. That is how our politics should be played henceforth.

i was annoyed wheni i first read the headline but then reading the text it is clear that what he said has been taken out of context and im inclined to believe that the person who did so did it intentionally. That's politics for you and politicians ought to be careful what they say but the truth of what Mr Sambo was trying to say is that the electorate should not vote on the basis of religion, being swayed by the fact that the oppostion party is led by a moslem. He merely used his own religion and that of others in his party (ruling party) as examples to prove the non- partisan nature of his party. the text is reposted below with relevant sections highlighted:

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/top-stories/46121-pdp-more-muslim-than-apc-says-vp-sambo

the truth of the matter is that by picking Pastor Osinbanjo, APC has already played the religion card so if you ask me this is a case of pot calling kettle black.

Quit trying desperately to defend the indefensible! Or can you claim not to have seen the video of PDP's campaign rally in Dutse, Jigawa State, where the moronic VP urged Nigerians not to vote for Buhari because his running mate is a pastor who owns 5000 churches. The man is a disgrace, and a more intelligent President should by now have distanced himself from his equally clueless Vice.

joeyekembele:

[s] The call for arrest made by TY Danjuma was hypocritical as it was one sidedly biased, and self centred. I support this submission with the following points
1. In 2010, similar and more dangerous calls were made by Buhari and his allies when he said, he would make the nation ungovernable for Jonathan should he loose, and also said, the baboons and the dogs would be soaked with blood. The aftermath of those statements are what the North East experience today. Where was Danjuma?
2. TY Danjuma is one of the many corrupt Northerners who own oil bloc/oil wells in the country. When Buhari made similar threat, he felt unconcerned because he knew Buhari Boko Haram fighters would not get to his investment in the south. But with this similar threat from Asari, Tompolo etc, His investment is a stake hence the clarion call for their arrest.
3. Recently, APC party through her spoke person openly said, APC would not hesitate to run a parallel government should the coming election be manipulated. Where was Danjuma when the statement was made?
4. TY danjuma as a retired general has great input to talk the Hausa/muslim Northerners into pacifying their boys christened Boko Haram to lay off arms and give peace a chance. But he has never made such an appeal but instead cone out and ran hin mouth here.
However while we condemn his myopic and biased utterances, we enjoin Asari, Tompolo, and the rest to sheath their sword to allow peace reign more so that God almighty has chosen Jonathan to lead this country till 2019 unstoppable.

what is happening now is almost the same with what happened between the Jews and Germans during the time of Adolf Hitler. when the Germans started executing the Jews, Germans saw nothing wrong with it untill they started world war 2. When Boko-Haramist started bombing and killing Christians fellow Muslims saw nothing wrong with it. I must tell you that this is a tip of the ice berg. If care is not taken....................

It is amazing how people hold onto and circulate fallacies so as to keep on justifying their prejudices. Please if you have donated any amount for this cause previously, do not shut the door. Always have the intention of doing more as access to more resources open up for you. Insha Allah, your efforts will not be in vain.

DJDOLA's travails have further reinforced the belief that we are all vulnerable despite our protestations to the contrary.

I was wondering when this thread would spring up. A nutritionist I know said premature greying is genetic but substances containing quinine, cola could be some predispositing factors. I find it funny. Am also in the young side of 30 but my hair is almost all white on both side. I fear they may get white even b4 I get into late 30s. I find it funny though and tell people it's evidence of too much knowledge. Funny enof when the initially started springing up, wifey used to enjoy plucking them out till they started growing faster than she could pluck em.

MEN! grin As for me, wifey just finds it intensely intriguing, calling me "young old man". It's good to know that we are many in this boat.

THIS HAPPENS WHEN AN OLD WITCH OR WIZARD IS EXCHANGING THEIR OLD AGE WITH THAT OF A YOUNG PERSON . ITS MOST LIKELY ONE OR BOTH OF THE YOUNG MAN'S PARENTS STEALING THE YOUNG MAN'S YOUTH . THE YOUNG MAN STARTS LOOKING OLDER THAN HIS AGE AND STARTS GREYING. I KNOW THE WAYS THIS CAN BE DONE

Thank you for your kind words. I used to think ladies have a problem with young men with greys. Probably because I currently am 'babeless'. Your mention has given me a different perspective.

@topic

I started going grey quite early. My first strand of grey appeared in my teens but then it wasn't obvious. It became obvious in my late twenties, primarily because of the stress of work. Pretty soon I should have an all grey beared.

At first I used to be bothered about it, considering that my immediate elder brother is yet to have a strand of grey hair but as time went by I got used to it and now I try to make the most of it by making it look a bit stylish.

Though my mum advised that I shave not to scare ladies away but I believe in being with someone who would accept me irrespective of my appearance. If a lady can't accept me when I am grey then I don't want her if I have no greys.

@ 1st bolded: mine started much later, at 28

The inspiration for this thread comes from Lizzymomma's thread on bearded ladies and their travails.

It seems as though more and more young men (myself inclusive) are greying up prematurely. I am on the right side of 30 at the moment but judging by the frenetic rate at which my black hair's being displaced, i could be all grey by the time i cross to the "other side" shocked

Initially, i used to be bothered about all the snide remarks about being an old man, being accused of age falsification and all that, and i was even tempted at a point to start dyeing my hair. However, i now take all the unpleasant remarks on the chin as i can't quarrel with nature abeg grin

So, greying young men, how do you cope?

Ladies, would you consider marrying a young man who has the hair of a 60 year old?
