Awake9ja: omo cyberG,
do you see why we all blv dat only yorubas hate ibos gravely in nigeria. can u read wat u just write above and told me if its not wicked and evil. no group can speak such if not yoruba. your opinion above is held by many yorubas both elites and common.

wit such minds set many yorubas i meet has spoken ill of the ibos, but y i dont know. they cant even make a point of that hatred.

we all may not like ibos but i bet you its clearly to me that there is no reason for that hatread. in my home state we dislike yorubas and ibos but we hate hausa fulanis.

on the case of yorubas its bcus of their tribalism mentality and occupation of most of federal government companies etc in my state. ie: ones a yoruba is made GM of phcn in our state wat you will see after 3months is massive employments of yorubas. we hate that we have graduates too.

on d side of ibos no body has ever givin me reason,i wil be glad to hav one. i accept disliking ibos till now.

on the side of hausa fula they are animals and having them among u is backward to your state and future disaster.
unlike the ibos who pay for everything they obtain but not so to yorubas hausas and fulanis.

You call Yorubas tribalists, yet you reek of putrefying tribalism; you call Hausa/Fulanis animals, but you should know that only an intellectually lazy slowpoke paints an entire ethnic group black. You really need to disinfect your views before posting them here, however anonymous this forum might be.

An Imam incites young Muslims to pick up arms and fight, he is called scholar and revered as a true prophet of Allah.. A muslim posts dirty messages on his facebook page, the niggar gets an a`ss whooping!! The priorities in Islam is highly fhucked up!

No wonder.. In the Islam section of Nairaland, A christians posts on a thread about Muslims killing innocent people, he gets banned for 6 months.. A muslims posts 'Allahu Akbar' on the exact same thread... He is hailed..

Ojeilevbare: I kw d bible said he who kills by d sword shall die by it, but it also gives room for redemption. - tink d policeman should be kept in assylum and nt his lyf taken in exchange for his crime, dis will enable him feel d magnitude of his crime and subsequently ask for forgiveness from d family and God.

Again, why should taxpayers' money be used to sustain the lives of murderers?
Crime / Re: Policeman Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Killing A Little Girl by BlueMurder(m): 8:47am On Sep 28, 2012
str8_talk: I'm not against d sentence, but no police officer shld b protected by d force if he or she has committed extra-judicial murder whether, whether hausa, yoruba or igbo. Because, dis case has bn decided summarily because d officer involved is from d SE. What abt d APO 6,Tipper garage/Mpape shooting of a woman near a bank ? We r watching.

Why do you allow tribalism to colour your sense of reasoning? A crime is a crime irrespective of the tribe of the criminal!

item1: Death by hanging?? Mhhh I don't support but that police man needs to be removed from existence simply by giving him LIFE IMPRISONMENT with no option of release by any cause. Let him live and pay for his action until his God takes away his life. Such people don't need to be walking the streets free after taking away an innocent life.
That's my take

Life Imprisonment at whose expense? Do you know how much taxpayers' money is spent on prisoners daily? Why waste money to keep killers alive?

I hope some people will not burst veins on the personae of SLS. The man is not a saint and is not perfect-no one is. He has his shortcomings. So has everyone else. But let's not forget that he rescued the banking industry and the economy from the hands of a privileged, unscrupulous few who were doing unimaginable things with depositors' money with impunity. And we really should learn to de-emphasize personalities and concentrate on institutions.

Thank God for a safe trip. Will have to book a flight when am done with what I came to do here.

You should pray for normal air services to resume soon, otherwise you have a longer sojourn in Abuja staring you in the face. I passed through the flood at Lokoja on Friday, on my way to Benin City from Zaria. The experience is not something one would wish for anyone. Indeed, i was forced to spend the night in Lokoja and resume the journey on Saturday, only to run into another gridlock between Auchi and Ekpoma caused by multiple accidents involving tankers and articulated trucks!

Politics / Re: Oil Discovered In Sokoto State by BlueMurder(m): 4:11pm On Aug 23, 2012
wescoboy: Anything can happen anywhere. Most Arab Nations have oil yet in the desert. Lets thank God for the North. Atleast the parasitic nature in the Northerners will gradually become a thing of the past. Truly, there is no region in Nigeria that does not have something God deposited with them. But the Northerners became lazy at the discovery of Oil. And can you blame them? No. While our fore fathers were busy travelling to study abroad, the Northern fathers were busy training their sons in the Army at home. And the result is what we have today. And talking about regional Government, it will never work. Infact there will be more trouble at the grass root level than ever. Brothers will turn against Brothers. Could you imagine what "ordinary land - i mean farm land" does in the Eastern part of the Country? Communal clashes every now & then in the East because of land. Most of us that were born after the civil war may not be able to reason very well when it comes to Regional Government.Atleast, everyone must have heard about "Wild! Wild! West" or "Akintola Taku". Could u imagine if there was oil then?. The West would not have been in existence today at all. Most of us young people talk about break-up. I pray none of us will live to see war. Being a refugee in Benin, Niger or Ghana or Cotonou is not something to imagine. Let us keep praying for our Nation. The major problem we have is neither the North nor the South nor the East nor the West.Human beings are just the same anywhere. Corruption is everywhere. Greed is everywhere. These evils are in Man's nature. And when you now have a system that institutionalize these evils, the result is better imagined. No one that has any opportunity that will not take care of himself and that of his generations after. Why? The system that Babangida era introduced enthroned greed, self-centredness, corruption. That is the only problem we have. The system is it! The system that cares for nobody. The system that regards no intellectualism! The system that does not encourage hard work and contentment. The system that enthrones sycophancy, laziness, greed, discontent and what have you. The system does not care for the citizenry. So everybody looks out for opportunity to take care of himself and those around him. Let us correct the system and everyone will see that Nigerians are wonderful people. Let us have a system where everyone gets what he deserves, A system where thinking or intellectualism is encouraged and hard work is celebrated, A system that the Central Government takes care of the jobless without been a burden to anyone. It is only then we can have peace and desired progress. God bless our Nation. Amen!

ceejay80s: Una dey put fear for my body

Well, it is a reality of life which we cannot hide away from.

@ Topic, kudos to the OP for bringing this up. I had the intention of doing so too. Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases ravaging the world right now. The painful thing is that most victims only become aware of it when it has become terminal. From then on, you can only watch helplessly in intense agony as the disease lays you to waste. I lost my father in 2007 to mandibulo-nasal cancer. Up to the last moment, the doctors (at a teaching hospital)kept conducting series of tests and assuring us that the huge swelling on his face could be removed surgically. But when i stole a look into his case file one day (it was jealously guarded by the doctors), and saw and saw the words "TERMINAL", i knew it was all over.

As much as is possible, we must all try and submit ourselves for thorough medical examinations at least annually.

Mekusnwa: This is a season of probes. It's healthy for our democracy. Those who are criticizing the composition of this new committee do not have a sense of propriety. The new committee may even unearthen more fraud. The more, the merrier. When Farouk did his controversial own, they could not discover the illegal JP Morgan account. Its the ongoing Senate probe that discovered that one. Left for me, I will say let there be probes everywhere. Even if nothing happens afterwards, we would have succeeded in exposing the criminals in our midst and there would be a measure of restraint on future theft.

If you were a taxpayer, you wouldn't be happy seeing your government waste a lot of money in setting up countless committees with the same mandate.
