OkpaNsukkaisBae:I just don't understand how anybody can try to defend that or attempt to downplay such serious crime. |
Ellexy:Sahara is reporting that he has aborted the earlier planned trip to the US. They are saying he's now considering attending G20 meeting which will be holding in South Africa on November 20. So, he will be meeting with Trump face-to-face on during the G-20 event. |
TemporaryHansel:Are u willing to have ur own blood shed for Nigeria to be divided ? PS: This is a polar question that requires "Yes" or "No" as answer. |
TemporaryHansel:The Truth is both Southern and Northern elites will fight tooth and nail for Nigeria to remain "united" instead of divided. Why? They have so much to lose than gain if Nigeria gets divided into different nations. People like Dangote, Otedola, Elumelu, Wale Tinubu, Rabiu Abdulsamad, etc will fight use all their resources to continue to push for Nigeria to maintain status quo. They are what they are today because of the way Nigeria is currently structured; their wealth stretched far and beyond the various parts of this country. I don't think any of them will fancy the idea of starting again in a young smaller nation. Trust me, except majority of them are on board I don't think a bloodless division of this country will ever be possible. |
izzou:That's even more reason why bandits will continue to need his services. Imagine him having intel on the military's offensive moves against the bandits long before the attacks are carried out. |
izzou:Normal! Na Country Senior Consultant for Banditry affairs him be na . ![]() |
TemporaryHansel:Here is why. People like Gumi who are opinion leaders believe they are freedom fighters and warriors of his clan.
|
Ellexy:One needs to wonder why these guys are this much alarmed with Trump's utterances. For a minute let us all agree Boko Haram, ISWAP, Fulani Herdsmen and Bandits have been killing more Christians like they want us to believe. Shebi they should be happy if Trump says he wants to lend helping hand to neutralize those killers which should also make them happy since they claimed the killers attack both Christians and Muslims? ![]() When you look at someone like this Gumi that has always claimed Bandits and terrorists are their freedom fighters it just gives u a glimpse into the mindset of some of these guys. The fact that Gumi with his extremist views raised a son who recently graduated from NDA and absorbed into Nigerian Military should disturb anyone sha. |
Ellexy:No be Juju be that ? |
Amoto94:Grand master, please tell us the origin of initial attack that made Fulani kill 80 villagers and attempted to kill 262 more. Since you have an idea of the complex root cause to these targeted killings, tell us what triggered the Jihadists sack 102 communities in Plateau state and displaced the original occupants. What grave sin did they commit against the Fulani Jihadists that made them attack defenseless villagers in the dead of the night setting their houses ablaze and slaughtering anyone on sight. In December 2024, Christians who were holding a Christmas procession in Gombe state were killed after a truck rammed into them leaving 8 people dead and 22 injured. In same vein during the 2025 Easter celebrations another driver deliberately rammed into a procession of Christians in same Gombe state. In fact, there is a pattern to this in Gombe state because similar thing happened in 2019. Pray tell what original sin these people committed that led to the so called "reprisal attacks" theory you are propounding here now. |
KingTom:Big brother fold when he see bigger brother show face for him matter. 😂 Now big brother Don quickly book appointment to go appease bigger brother for Obodo Oyinbo |
Theflint1:U expect Trump to meet with president of the country he just referred to as "disgraced country"? 😭 |
Tinubu to meet America's VP in the US on Tuesday https://www.nairaland.com/8553201/president-tinubu-visit-us-tuesday Let's hope is meeting will lead to reprieve for minority Christians in the core north and majority Christians in the middle belt. Let's hope this will lead to serious efforts being implemented to deal with the marauding Jihadists |
If we talk now, monerozi and Amoto will say because we live down south we cannot speak on the happenings in the north better than those of them resident in the north. This is a list of 102 communities that were completely sacked, annexed and renamed by the Fulani Jihadist militia. If you ask them to provide similar list showing the Fulani Jihadists being targeted for extinction like this, na that time dem go remember silence is golden.

To think Tinubu wanted to invade Niger ( a sovereign nation) when he was barely 3 months in office simply beavuse there was regime change in the country. The people talking about sovereignty today supported that move back then and were arguing Nigeria has a role to play as the African big brother and Balablu being ECOWAS chairman. Today America is saying fix the incessant killings of christians by Fulani Jihadists in your country or we come do it for you and suddenly they all remember Nigeria is a sovereign nation which America has no right to poke nose into it's internal affairs. The hypocrisy stinks! 🤮

Sportsweb:Can you imagine? One can make some really interesting deductions just from this Buhari's tweets alone. 1. Apparently there are Christians and Muslims in this Yelwa Gindi Akwati village. At least for the village to have an imam and a mosque, then it's apparent there is a considerable number of Muslims in the village. 2. The Fulani Jihadist went about killing Christians in the village in 2018 and that particular attack led to death of 80 Christians. 3. The Imam the reduced the number of christians that could have been killed in that attack by 262. He had to plead with the Jihadist to spare the 262 Christians he shielded by offering to exchange his own life for theirs. 4. For some reasons the assailants the retreated and the Imam was able to save 262 Christians that could've ended up like the other 80 that were slained in that June 2018 attacks. 5. The fact that the humanitarian efforts of the Imam drew both national and international recognition did in fact confirm the accusations of Christian genocide in Nigeria ( The northern part of the country precisely ). Or how would anyone describe a situation that had 80 Christians killed and 262 more saved by sheer bravery of an 83 year old Imam who was willing to lay down his life for them to live? There are no contradictions here. There are Muslims in that same town and the Jihadists never went for their lives but rather the Christians whom they targeted for wiping out. We may not support America's proposed military intervention, but don't let anybody gaslight you that there's no genocide in Nigeria. The people who are parroting that narrative have clearly sold their heart long time ago or either dtached from the reality of others since they don't have any relative that has been a victim yet.

TemporaryHansel:Elder, no be everything be politics na! Haba! If Atiku and Obi put mouth and FG comes for them, matters will escalate and the US probably comes in gun-a-blazing like Trump is suggesting; it is the same APC supporters and fellow Nigerians that will place all blame on them. Let Tinubu and his APC goons sort themselves with the Americans abeg. The opposition have done their jobs by calling out the incessant killings and insecurity challenges under Tinubu out ( Although your principal was cowardly enough to repent of himself after initially speaking against Deborah's murder). This is not the time to play any yeye opposition politics of miliking any yeye situation dry. Doing that is not what will make Tinubu lose reelection abeg. |
This was about 3 years ago in the run up to the 2023 presidential elections. 👀

A picture that depicts the level of confidence an average Nigerian has in the current government's competence in keeping them safe.
|
swiz123:Agreed 100%. However, someone like DJ chicken should've had his drivers license suspended a long time ago and anytime he's caught driving law enforcement should arrest him. The number of times DJ chicken has hit other people's vehicle or bike men ehn.... I think he probably drives under influence most times sef. |
Emaprince:It's disturbing when you see tweets of ex soldiers alleging they were punished too many Boko Haram terrorists. Then just last Sahara reporters was breaking the news that some soldiers are actually not happy working with ex boko haram members drafted into the army. Nigerian goveenment needs to undo some of these things and give the impression the state is not in bed with these terrorists. Tinubu just needs to wake up and do away with some of the unreasonable legacies of the Buhari's government he has been letting slide for the past 2 years. They should also do away with the narrative of downplaying terrorism as mere "farmer-herders clash". Like how can they continue to claim.it is farmer-herders clash and you see assault rifles and RPGs with only the herders. We've never seen any picture or video of farmers going about with such sophisticated weapons. |
LordAdam16:I agree with you that something needs to give. Could you imagine that rehabilitation of Boko Haram is the 7th most expensive capital project in the Borno state government's budget? How does a state continue to live like that? It just looks as if their governors are elected to enable boko haram keeps getting access to state budget. Then we have the shiiit show going on in the places Like Zamfara, Sokoto, etc where so called bandits come to town with RPGs for "peace talks", weddings and collection of levies & taxes. The kids gloves being used to handle the matter just needs to stop and arewa just need to allow things done the proper way instead of being sentimentally attached to those terrorists as their "brothers".

Na this guy go later kpai Reno, He just dey give am body hitting dey go. ![]()

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Make dem calm down small. Tinubu and his people will start taking actions. The threat of stopping aids is enough to make them sit right. |
liveLongNprospa:APC actually need to call their data boys to order. Some of them have been moving mad since Trump's designation post yesterday. Their principal should call them to order ; saying " f*ck Peter Obi" or "F*ck Atiku" is not the same thing as "F*ck Donald Trump" or " To hell with a trump and his America " Son of those guys are unhinged, I even saw one that listed Trump,FBI, CIA, etc and said 4ck u to all of them.

Ellexy:Department of war keh? 🤷♂️ |
afrodoc2:They carefully chose a charge that would be easy to leave them off the hook. They probably didn't want to prosecute them at all going by the body language of Tambuwal the governor and the sultan. Person wey carry matches face camera where they set ablaze a fellow student, Nigeria police charge am with criminal conspiracy and inciting public disturbance. The attention is in in the details. Like a lot of people didn't pay attetion to the full details of that Deborah's murder. They charged the murders for a flimsy bailable crime, then police refused to present evidence in court to prosecute the accused murderers. How does one boldly say the state is not complicit in some of these incidents? |
izzou:The fact that she didn't even commit the blasphemy they accused her of is even annoying. In fact, most of the people they've murdered for the phantom blasphemy crime didng actually commit any crime. And then we had senior Muslim lawyers going to stand for the accused in court. We have the police prosecutor shying away from court sittings to present evidence and the state government nit mounting pressure on the police to have justice served. They all made it seem like those guys didn't actually commit any crime snuffing life out of her because to them indeed she deserves to kpai. Then we have a national figure like Atiku condemning and deleting his condemnation tweet about the incident. Omo! |
With the way Federal government is reacting to t Trump's position on this genocide matter, I won't be surprised if FG goes all out to enforce censorship of media reportings of insecurity issues going forward. They may soon forbid media houses from dwelling much on religion/ethnicity of victims and ethnicity of perpetrators of these terror attacks going forward. I won't put it past them that they will rather be furious with people reporting these incidents than putting boots on the ground to actually go after the perpetrators of terror attacks and bring them to book. The only way to actually have majority of Nigerians on your side is to really show results. Show you are doing enough to deal with the terrorists. Nobody will see you absorbing "repentant terrorists" into the army and take you serious.(these are terrorists who have been bombing churches and sacking entire communities as far back as 2013) Nobody will see that the killers of Deborah have not been convicted 3 years after and take you serious. In fact, the FG (Nigeria police) literally allowed the suspects arrested for Deborah's murder to walk free because they refused to appear in court on various occasion forcing the magistrate to throw out the case. How will your own citizens know this and you expect them to side with you?

TemporaryHansel:Nothing concern me with all these ones jare. Na people wey dey watch their video all the nonsense he's talking really concern. |
