The highest court of authority the guy would face is a military court martial and it will be presided over by the very set of people who gave the guy his initial order. If they decide to throw the guy under the bus, they will end up killing morale of commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers in following orders in the military .

You are the one who should stop capping thinking the military will sack one of their own because he obeyed order while a civilian like Wike was trying to make him do otherwise.

The danger of settling community leaders while the majority of the community are left behind will be very dire. The community will most likely chop whatever settlement the company decides to pay, and the youth may rise up in arms to still disrupt operations of the company's facilities in that community.

This move of ridding them off free electricity will affect the means of livelihood of members of the community. People who are barbers, hairdressers, welders, tailors, etc that have never bought generator nor fuel to power their business because they enjoy uninterrupted free electricity will feel it really well. Some of them will just use the small inconvenience as an excuse to fold up their business and turn to crime.

Potential problem brewing in one of the host communities in Omoku, Rivers state.

Background story : Sometime last year OANDO bought Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC) from ENI.
Prior to this business deal, NAOC had been operating their oil and gas facilties in Omoku community. NAOC provided free electricity to the host community through their CSR and this has lasted for almost 50 years.

After OANDO completed full take over of NAOC assets and liabilities, they wrote to the host community ( as the new management) informing them that they would be discontinuing the maintenance of electricity facilities that has made the host community enjoy free stable electricity for years. They quoted a section of the PIA that backs their action meaning whatever decision they have taken has the backing of the law.

Now the issue is will the people who have been used to using free electricity to the extent of every home using electric cookers instead of gas cookers just accept OANDO's decision to return them to paid electricity?

Some people are already arguing that the free electricity they enjoyed from NAOC is not even enough compensation for the gas flaring and environmental degradation they've had to endure by virtue of their oil and gas facility in Omoku community.

In that video, what I see at best is the player having an object thrown at him which caused him the injury on his neck.

When driving, people have this attitude of " If u Don overtake me, u Don overtake me for life be that " when driving.

Most of the car bashings you see on the road are caused by this attitude. Although some motorists can really be annoying, but the need to always want to claim right dey cause most accidents involving plenty drama.

Around February this year I was inside Uber on the way to the airport. That was how Uber guy just foolishly tried to pass a T-junction at the same speed he was coming without slowing down. Unfortunately for him, one guy wanted to merge into the road with his Lexus RX 350.

Na so the Lexus guy ram into our vehicle by the driver's side and condemned the door right there. My Uber guy that refused refused to slow down at the junction now has his day messed up. The Lexus guy accepted liability to fix the Uber and asked him to follow him to his mechanic ; but my guy's day was already ruined.

I had to end the trip and order another Uber and was at the risk of being late for my flight. I left them there sorting themselves Sha.

My wife who was in the Uber with me was sympathetic with the Uber guy but I told her the Uber guy was the fooolish one. The Lexus guy apparently just bought the vehicle and isn't skilled at driving yet, but if our own Uber guy had just exercise little patience by slowing down he won't be spending the whole day having his car fixed.

Most times If you hit someone from rear while driving, it is automatically assumed you are at fault . You are expected to have functional braking system which you should apply before you hit the other vehicle from rear whether he's driving slow or not.

That being said, considering you mentioned the keke entered the express recklessly one can't but wonder how the car ended hitting the keke from rear and not the side. Perhaps the car driver was trying to do everything within his might to prevent the keke from merging into the lane (normal Lagos driver strong head) and it led to damage of his vehicle.

Las Las most keke riders no dey hold money like that and irrespective of who is judged the guilty party, the car owner may not recover much from the keke rider. He will end up fixing his car by himself. That's why it is always advisable to just let those people carry their wahala go because sooner or later people will judge u as using power for them when u decide to punish them for the damage.

There's a video I saw this morning which showed the player's throat wasn't slit as initially claimed. An Object was thrown at the player and it cut him on the side of his neck.

I'm guessing the reason they gave them chance to appeal the judgement is to bring any evidence that counters the initial claim of the player's throat being slit.

I am not in any way defending the animalistic behavior of the Katsina United fans o, but the whole incident needs to be investigated to come to a fair judgement for all parties involved

I think banishing them to Jos is a good punishment because it makes it difficult for their fans to ever try such again. I'm sure only few of their fans would be able to make the trip from Katsina to Jos every home game they have going forward. And those few fans would not be able to carry out such attacks against any opposing team's players because they won't have the numbers and mind to try that at a base far away from their home ground.

The 9 million fine is also a good punishment because I don't there is enough money in the league that would've been enough for them to afford more than 9 million as fine. In fact, that 9 million will cause them financial difficulties sef.
