This is what I was saying few days ago. The idea of just hastily dismissing the Benue crisis as that of perennial farmer-herders crisis is wrong.

You can't just sit in Abuja or Lagos and claim with full authority that it is the age-long Farmers and herders attacking themselves all over again.

One then needs to wonder how to "reconcile" with such people as directed by President Emilokan. I actually don't see the fuss in him visiting Tinubu honestly. It is normal for the presidency to invite anybody they perceive to be doing well to come meet with the president .

It is the person's prerogative to decide whether he wishes to honor the invite or not. In this case Tunde honored it and If u ask me I don't think he did anything wrong .

As for the presidency posting pictures of his visit, that is not unexpected. The media guys working at the presidency definitely need to push out something to take the heat off their principal in light of public outrage that followed the Benue tragic incident.

What I don't get is why they are still dragging Tunde. They should just let the guy be; I'm sure he knows he could find himself in this situation from the moment he decided to honor Tinubu's invite. There are more important things that should trigger one's displeasure with the administration; this very one is a none issue to me.
