I read the minister of thugs in Abuja has his boys sent to Edo too. If PDP losses Edo state, it's due to internal problem and lack of management from within.

I don't think Obaseki is afraid at all, instead I think he wants a free-for-all where the biggest rigger and biggest violent party wins. He doesn't want the police to assist his opps while claiming they are neutral.

I am not conversant with Edo state politics and don't really know what they are dragging amongst themselves, but from the Obaseki video addressing Abdulsalam Abubakar ; he does have a point.

He mentioned how his party members were singled-out for arrests and shipped down to ABJ for preosecution instead of trying them in a law court in Edo state within the jurisdiction where the alleged crimes were committed.

He believes the IGP working in conivinace with FG wants to undermine his role as the CSO of the state and he doesn't trust the IGP controlled police force to ensure fair security of lives and properties during the election period. He insisted that things be done the right way in his personal conversation with the IGP, but the IGP has since aired him.


From where I stand it looks like the governor is calling out for the people to resort to self-help this election period (which is not ideal); but one cannot deny the fact that the actions and inactions of the IGP has led him to this point.

I think the governor deliberately wants to heat up the policy. It may be a strategy such that even if APC never had intentions of destabilizing the state, they would never think.of it since he's already accusing them falsely about it.

I just watched a video of Godwin Obaseki telling it to Abdulsalam Abubakar’s face that they are not signing any useless peace accord this coming Edo Elections.

He even called out the IGP and said they don’t have any confidence that the police will protect them.

Just look at this ur post now , look at the bolded part I highlight; You have just ended up making my point for me. Arteta did not do anything wrong in the match, it was Rice that made an error that turned a winnable match into a draw. Rice fumbled and Arteta did good like you admitted. I never said a coach is not paid to deliver on his job.

If you check my post you quoted again, I mentioned that there are instances when coaches do all the right thing by using the best 11 and adopting the best tactics yet some players fumble. It is similar to when a lecturer comes to class all through semester, teaches well in class and set exams based on what he taught in class; yet some students will not read and fail.

I never said coaches should not be blamed when they fumble like chnaging the winning formula for no justifiable reason or adopting a tactics that leads to a loss.

The first step to ever make this country work is to trash the 1999 constitution. The process of budget making needs to be well spelt out in the new constitution and let there be a very transparent process of budget review before the budget is signed. Without that, they will just keep stealing money with all these nonsense budget padding.

We will just keep seeing all these ridiculous budget figures, complain about it year-in year-out and nothing will change. In remember how we complained about Lagos state's budget and after something everything died down.

He's just catching cruise from what I've seen. He's actually not a bad person, he's just an APC lover to a fault. He has said it over a thousand times for those that care to listen that he hates anything related to PDP , its offshoot and any other party that stands as opposition to APC.

You should not expect much objectivity from him when APC is the at the center stage of any discussion. Like u rightly said, he will say anything to defend APC even in the face of glaring facts.
