afrodoc2:You are right doc, If anybody loose guard that guy will most likely carry any money he sees in sight. |
izzou:Until all business close down before prosperity come ![]() While I was cutting my hair over the weekend, my barber narrated the discussion he had with one of his customers on Friday. The man is keke rider, he got the keke on hire purchase. The actual cost of the keke is N3m but it was given to him on hire purchase for N4.2m. ( I was shocked that keke now sells for N3m The man usually delivers weekly to the owner. Due to the hike in price of fuel the man has not been able to gather enough for his weekly deliver and on top of that, he was unfortunate that police men stopped him and towed the keke to Area command. Now he's looking for money to deliver to the owner as well as money to bail the keke parked inside police area command. He said the man kept on hissing while he was cutting his hair and that was what prompted him to ask what exactly his problem is. If that man commits suicide out of frustration a lot of people won't know it is the economic hardship under this government that pushed him to the brink. |
Pastor Joe Igbokwe “ Prays” that the master planner reviews the renewed agenda because the 20k prepaid meter top-up he bought only lasted one day. Just few months ago he was huffing and puffing . 😒

Leyqute:If u watch the AriseTV analysis , u will hear the guy mentioning it that Mikel was the go-between for the Osimhen-Chelsea deal. Initially Chelsea owners being American capitalists wanted to take advantage of the Osimhen situation at Napoli, they discussed with Napoli and not Osimehn himself initially and when they did, they offeried him wages below his expectations. Mikel is here saying both parties eventually had to shift position. These things are not hard for one to figure out if you don't have anything against Osimehn. I've stopped discussing the Osimehn saga until he decided to give me a mention again like he's discovered gold on the matter. |
iamoyindamola:lol. ![]() I'm sure u delibrately skipped the part where Mikel mentioned "Chelsea also compromised" . If you didn't then maybe you don't understand what compromise means. Right from the onset I had mentioned that when push comes to shove, Osimehn will stay on the bench till January and he will eventually move to a club that agrees with his wage demands with Napoli being on the losing end. They will pay his salary for over 4 months without him kicking the ball and he will go at a lesser fee. Nothing Mikel has said has invalidated the AriseTV sports analyst position on the whole transfer saga. Mikel has only confirmed that Osimehn is willing to move to Chelsea with both parties arriving at a compromise/middle ground |
[quote author=iamoyindamola post=131920445]So osihmeh really wanted to move to Chelsea, but one nobody came to arise TV to yarn rubbish about disrespect and people like blueraydick carry it for head throwing words around Who's the hypocrite here,Mikel is saying if he's still available in January Chelsea will still come for him I hope for he didn't agree the 65k net sha was directly speaking to u when he said : "People don't know a lot of inside-out of what happened". He was also talking directly when he said he was pained to hear all those nonsense that Victor was greedy and that it is time for Nigerians to support him. Maybe if u listen without bias against Osimehn in ur heart, u will hear that part well. |
izzou:Baba a lot of injustice has happened in this country. I'm sure when Maroko was being demolished , we had people who supported the government in power that they were taking the right steps. Just see below the excerpts of the shege victims faced back then: Eleven years old Bose Atie, a primary five student of Kuramo Primary School, Victoria Island, had walls fell on her at her father’s house located on 20, Seriki Street, Maroko, during the demolition and died instantly. The father J.O. Atie now lives sorrowfully in his block 347 flat 2, Ilasan Housing Estate.Guess what ? The same Lagos government that justified why it had to demolish maroko later admitted in court the demolition was done in error. Investigation shows that the Lagos state High Court had also admitted in 1991 that the demolition of Maroko was done in error. There was an injunction by the Lagos Appeal Court that the Lagos state government should leave the vacated Maroko land untouched till the matter is finally determined but the judgment was not obeyed by both the Lagos state government and the other gladiators in the Maroko tussle. When I see people fixated on defending government actions at all cost, I just shake my head. |
GloriousGbola:Baba all this one u are saying is because the properties demolished are those of ur clients and not urs directly. God forbid, the day a loved one or ur direct property is affected; u won't care whether it is APC , LP or PDP government that demolished it. You will voice your displeasure loud and clear. I understand that man's pains; he lost a N150m worth of investment and according to his twitter thread, over 50 direct staff will be out of job. On his twitter thread , the man claimed he has C of O and every necessary title documents and approval. If FCT housing authority can take his property down, what makes u think some people who were LASBCA victims in Lagos were not in same shoes while he was praising LASBCA. The lesson in all of this is : DON'T MOCK A PAIN YOU HAVEN'T ENDURED. |
izzou:The truth be say, if e never happen to u na advise go full ur mouth. |
izzou:Baba, I've seen people go from 100 to 0 because of all these government demolitions. Nobody should be defending government for some of these demolitions because if you probe really deep, you will discover it's all about government land grabbing and nothing else. As a little boy my old man told me about the history of Maroko and how the original occupants were evicted from where we now call Victoria Island; I learnt not to trust government and its officials from that maroko incident. Some of us are critical of government because of the history we know and those things happening all over again. Anybody that wants to learn about Maroko incident can read the below business day link to the story. https://businessday.ng/news/news-features/article/how-nigerian-elites-grabbed-maroko-land-25-years-ago-part-1/ |
GloriousGbola:Well, if u say so sha. Your experience may not be someone else’s experience sha . But government pulling down people’s buildings down at this period is as insensitive as insensitive can ever be . |
These are the issues . Fashola claimed they gave Dangote the land he built his refinery on for free and he didn’t pay anything . Nine years later Dangote claimed he paid $100m for the same land and that he never received anything for free . Now the indigenes have sued Lagos state government to come out and explain if indeed $100m was collected by LASG for their ancestral land and what was done with the money. I won’t be surprised if the court throw the case out based on technicality
|
liveLongNprospa:This is what I was saying about that Osimhen matter . Nigerians are mostly hypocrites , but will support bad behaviors and even defend the indefensible when they are not the ones directly affected . The moment they are affected , they will suddenly discover their voice and start speaking against what they supported in the past. I remember months back when we had discussions centered around all these demolition going on in Lagos. A lot of people believe people whose buildings are being demolished are automatically guilty and that the government is blameless . Some people felt the owners of the buildings didn’t do enough due diligence , blah blah blah….. I’m sure if you tell this man that he didn’t do due diligence before he started his poultry in Abuja he will never agree with u and will cuss you out. The fact that the government didn’t even give him notice to allow him evacuate his birds makes his case pathetic . This is just a lesson for all of us that we should be more kinda with our words and put ourselves in people’s shoes When discussing their misfortune in the hands of government and its officials |
pkasso:Check ur mail |
MorataFC:The problem u guys are having is that those Americans are taking their investment in Chelsea football like pure venture capitalist in the normal production and service industry . Like they are seeing it like Coca Cola (Nigerian Bottling company ) buying Chi foods (producers of hollandia ). They want a situation where within a year of buying over the company it’s share capital increases , the company becomes more profitable and they can beat their chest they made a good business decision (most likely give the financial analysts more pay raise ). Unfortunately for them, a football club is not like that . A lot can go wrong with a football club; u can buy wrong set of players , u can hire the wrong coach with a wrong tactics on a long term contract , ur star player can get injured and it will affect the club’s performance , etc. Abrahamovic was still the best that could ever happen to Chelsea . He could invest without batting an eyelid and still hire and fire just to get desired results . From where I stand , it is a long lonely road for the club as far as these American investors are concerned |
LordAdam16:I agree with u. The man probably has thing set up already for him, he might land an international job anytime soon that may be more rewarding and less stressful than the presidency job. It beats one imagination why he would just walk away from everything just because of ego. He definitely has an exit strategy before throwing in the towel |
izzou:That’s another evidence that the master planner does not actually knows what he’s doing . |
Ibime:Things in Aso Rock are more complex than we see them to be . It was the same Aso Rock there was a shootout between Tunde Sabiu’s security and Aisha Buhari’s security . I think Aso Rock is another civil service on its own. If the powers that be want Ajuri out , there’s next to nothing Tinubu can do to veto him in. |
Ibime:https://fij.ng/article/exclusive-ajuri-ngelale-did-not-resign-due-to-vexatious-medical-situation-he-was-fired/ They said he was sacked after losing out in the power tussle with Onanuga. They only gave him a soft landing to resign publicly . |
afrodoc2:Like Treblechamp rightly said , I’ve been following election cycles for a while now and I’ve not really seen Senatorial and HOR candidates do much campaign beyond posters and bill boards that has their face , their party’s governorship candidate and presidential candidate. When the governorship and presidential candidates of their party comes to campaign in their senatorial district/constituency , they will ensure they wet the ground and arrange crowd whom they will speak to. The governorship and presidential candidates will raise their hand and that’s all. The rest of their own campaign is about sharing money , souvenirs and sometimes fighting the rival party’s candidate on their campaign tour. I’ve seen this happen in different campaign cycle over time. That’s why people of questionable character and intelligence always make it to the house of assembly and they really can’t come up with good laws that will move the country forward . |
Financial wizard whose wizardry and policies has made countless erstwhile profitable multinationals declare losses within one year of his ascendancy to office ? 🤦♂️ I don’t blame all these comedians and entertainers coming out to defend this clueless Tinubu’s government sha. Shebi it’s because they advertise shows and they still see people attending . They have no idea the kind of hardship their so called fans are going through under this rudderless administration. |
TrebleChamp:Omo! If Monday eventually becomes Edo state governor , I will know that APC’s machinery can never be defeated in this country . I just saw of a video of his campaign where he said “We are going to provide you with insecurity “. Even Oshiomole wey be him principal Dey try use hand make gesture say e don 4ck up again. ![]() Truly na sawdust Dey inside Monday head |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Omo! And these are just official figures o. Only God knows what the unofficial figures will be |
lordfalcao:I believe you watched the video posted here , but I don’t think you actually understand what you watched going by this ur “arm twist” statement you’ve been slotting into all of your posts . Osimehn said he was offered 130k by Chelsea which he will lose a bulky part of it to tax and other deductions . He said that is the true picture of things and not the narrative being parroted online that he demanded 500k weekly from Chelsea . The funny thing is the 500k rumor trended even on this very thread . Most of your fans believed the story back then and called him all sorts of name. Now he’s coming out to clear the air and state exactly the true situation of things , u Dey vex Dey shout say he’s telling lies. Oya tell us the truth and how you know it’s the truth. |
izzou:Some people don’t just have good advisers. |
izzou:People wey no serious. Their eyes will clear when they eventually decide to bury him and they discover the amount they are owing the government for the long time the corpse spent in the morgue . They probably don’t know by then a lot of people would’ve forgotten about the case and even government may not be interested in writing off the bills for them. Let them keep jumping from one interview to podcast to TikTok live . By the time the bloggers and clout chasers have their fill and move on to more juicy scandalous contents , they will learn |
iamoyindamola:I’m not interested in any yeye news on the Mohbad case anymore . I’ve stopped reading any news or watch any video on the matter . Like most Nigerians , I have moved on from anything related to the matter . When his parents are ready they will bury him and they will have a closure . If not let them keep in the morgue for 100 years and all of them be chasing clout on social media . |
Segedinho:I just saw another one .
I guess this was why they shielded him from the media and Oshiomole has been the one doing the talking |
Segedinho:Omo! APC no rate una with this candidate field for Edo state o. Haba! It’s not even about whether he can speak English or not sef , he’s just not really smart ni. |
Itsrm:Na who never see a large population of angry Nigerians in action go dey take that kind risk in this critical times. |
