The number of major trophies won and money spent amongst the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ clubs during Jurgen Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool 👀(h/t SkySportsPL/X) Guardiola na evil man ; he's from the kingdom of darkness 🤦 Klopp sef tried o

iamoyindamola:Yeah, most bars, lounges, restaurants and clubs have been charging consumption tax on items bought long before now. That one no be Tinubu's doings |
14 paragraphs and yet no mention of just one single policy that was initiated by Tinubu's administration that has impacted positively on the life of Nigerians that can be easily verifiable . Just stories , promises and pleading for Nigerians' continued understanding & support. Smh Such a shame! Let's wait for May 29 and see what Ajuri and Onanuga will bandy together as verifiable achievements of this administration in the past one year |
afrodoc2:The man is a clown. People like him plenty for governance in this Nigeria. U remember during Covid-19, I was shocked then to find out that LUTH owned by FG had just 4 ventilators. I'm not sure they've bought any since Covid-19 ended sef. Person go come dey talk say our medical facilities are now better. smh Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, Abayomi said, “Most of the COVID-19 patients are experiencing a very mild to moderate degree of illness. We don’t have anybody requiring ventilation at the moment.” It was gathered that the isolation centre in the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Yaba has nine ventilators and the newly built isolation centre donated to the state by GTB at Onikan, has some ventilators. Sources at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, said there were about 15 ventilators there, while the Lagos University Teaching Hospital has four ventilators. |
popizaino:Even in present day , Footballers still dish out worse tackles than the ones in the video compilation. Officiating didn't stop Ramos from breaking Salah's arm in a champions league final. Players still dish out leg breaking tackles every season |
iamoyindamola:The way they tell outright lies unprovoked is just amusing and annoying . If u go to LUTH ,FMC Abeokuta, National Orthopaedic hospital Igbobi , Neuropsychiatric hospital Yaba, etc and find out if there's been any upgrade of their medical facilities in the past one year by the Tinubu led FG u will find out nothing of such happened . But these people will come boldly on national TV and online to say these things that are so annoyingly untrue . I don't blame them tho cos the media people that are supposed to fact check them will just sit down beside them nodding their heads, swallowing the lies and asking irrelevant questions. When they do mistake go AriseTv and those ones decide to fact check them, they get angry and the viewers due to political partisanship will even be vilifying AriseTv guys for doing what independent media is expected to do. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:The music wey everybody dey steal ![]() |
Itsrm:U get! Now everybody just face am like that ni. Transporters will just buy the 1k fuel and transfer the cost to the general public who will have to board buses to their various destinations. Imagine workers using May 1st holidays to hunt for fuel instead of resting and enjoying the holidays with their families . Everybody don tire . What's the essence of fighting a battle one cannot win ? |

Itsrm:The big question is : WHAT DID THOSE PROTESTS ACHEIVE? Absolutely nothing ! Do u think anybody will waste his time engaging in such protests when u know it won't achieve anything ? Even those protests in Ibadan and some other places , I saw videos of fellow Yorubas on social media lambasting the protesters and questioning their sanity. They claimed they were being unreasonable for protesting against hardship when it is a Yoruba man that is in power . They were asking how many Hausa/Fulani did they see protesting when Buhari was in power . These are the issues . Do u think I will go and join any protest knowing that somebody will on camera and ring light somewhere in Toronto or London to question my YORUBAness simply cos I protested against Tinubu's hardship-inflicting government ? |
CrystalTiger:Weyrey wey no dey naija to pay his own Cyber security levy dey gaslight people wey dey see shege to pay for their own benefit ![]() Make I go LinkedIn go read the reaction of " intellectuals " that always agree with him on his political posts. Lemme see if they agree with him on this one too. |
larride:I never said Ajaero is not compromised . All I've said is that nobody can successfully lead a protest under this current government to force the hand of the government . Why ? Because this government will use propaganda to ruin such protest leader . It is what it is . |
larride:Anybody that decides to lead any protest under this government , they will always get something on him to discredit him and his motive. E clear ! |
Itsrm:Name one single protest that has succeeded after ENDSARS . Everybody have decided to use their hand cos if u don't , government will use it for u with propaganda. Shey na Ajaero protests don succeed after 2020 or which one exactly ? APC that will sponsor counter-protest sharp sharp . U won't even protest for one hour before u jam counter-protesters . Me I don't support any protest because it won't achieve anything under this APC government . Didn't u hear Ajuri recently claiming on live TV that u , me and everyone on this thread's spending power has increased under this government ? ![]() |
E choke, choken't it ?
|
Itsrm:When people protested police brutality during ENDSARS , how did it end ? People genuinely wanted a change , they wanted the government to do something beyond sacking one or two police officers after they must have killed innocent citizens . They wanted the government to take police welfare serious; hoping that will make policemen more responsible and more disciplined in the discharge of their duties as security agencies . How did it end ? Government sponsored thugs to disrupt the largely peaceful protests , things turned violent , the government sent in armed soldiers in a bid to quash the protests and break the will of the people. The government then went on rounds of propaganda , arrest spree and found ways to hold some of the protest organizers on criminal charges . Fellow citizens sided with the government and that was the death of any future United protest in this country . I read in dismay how everything was politicized and the few wins from the protest made bitter in the mouth by government officials and party loyalists . Trust me , there's never going to be any change-effecting protest in this country because some individuals will always find a way to defend the same set of people , ideas, hardship , government and policies they are expected to protest against . If Obi leads a proetst there's enough propaganda to use to question his motive , if Atiku does same treatment awaits him. If a common or average man leads a protest he will rot in DSS' detention facility like Sowore. |
Theflint1:The man just embarrassed all Nigerians . How can a presidential spokesperson of country with 200 million people not know something as basic as converting percentage to decimal points ? 🤦 |
afrodoc2:But Bayo Onanuga sef! He's a senior man na; at least he should be running these things through young guys in his office before tweeting them. Haba. It's actually embarrassing coming from a presidential spokesperson. |
TrebleChamp:There's the internet and then there's reality. Most people I know in real life who genuinely thought this Tinubu's administration was actually going to usher in renewed hope for them have actually seen that is not the case. On the internet it is normal for everybody to grandstand taunting each other about the outcome of the elections, political differences , etc. Off the internet, everybody resident in this country are living the reality. This is not even about any "baby step of pain". When u hear people talking and lamenting, u will know it goes beyond just using word of mouth to support government on empty stomach. MTN and other telecos are already mulling idea of increasing tariffs in line with current economic reality. They feel it is unfair that almost all manufacturer and service providers can increase price but they can't due to regulations. Imagine if that one adds to the food inflation and all these new taxes Tinubu is coming up with. |
Roland17:Thank You 👍 |
Emaprince:This thing na everybody e dey touch now. If u don't buy fuel for high price, u will pay cyber security levy ![]() I was reading the news piece about 80% of houses in Ibeju Lekki axis not having government approval. I read a particular part that caught my attention when the commissioner claimed people abroad just send money home, they get lands without doing due diligence and start building on that axis on lands reserved originally by govt for farming. I just shake my head cos It appears even people abroad who decided to invest in real estate in that axis are about to lose their investments. 80% is a whole lot of people o. Na almost everybody hand go touch in this era. |
Emaprince:Thank you. |
Unlimited22:Thanks, Yeah I'm well and fine now. |
Amigoss:Bayo Onanuga na Art student, na Mass comm he study for school ![]() PS: This is me playing devil's advocate. |
One thing that is very evident is that since May 29 2023 Tinubu was sworn-in, nobody don rest in this country be it OBIdient, ATIKUlated or BATist. I remember the day he made pronouncement about subsidy removal, na so I carry car go one filling station to another looking for fuel to buy only to meet dozens of people doing the same. Presently people are still in filling station buying fuel for around N1k per liter almost one year after. Like people wake as early as 3am to join fuel queue whether they are BATists or OBIdient. Prices of products have not come down, naira-dollar fluctuation is giving manufacturers and salesmen sleepless nights ; even the palliatives which was eagerly awaited by the people have not cushioned any effect of the hardship in the land. People abroad may not really understand these things/directly feel the effect, but anybody living in this country definitely feels it. I really feel for business people o because they always get blamed for increasing prices of their products, while the society overlooks how the customs duty for clearing their goods keeps fluctuating with the exchange rate. I look forward to reading what Bayo Onanuga & Ajuri will list as top Tinubu's achievement that is verifiable and can be felt by Nigerians in general in the past one year. |
Personally I'm not surprised about this tax, I only find the name funny; "Cyber security levy" ![]() What does that even mean? Tinubu na tax man, so I expect more of such taxes to come in the future. Make everybody brace up |
