He/She that has ears, let them hear.. The truth is always bitter to accept at first, but at the end it will be a delight to the soul.

That said, a litmus test to know if whatever you're engaging in whether business or job is right (of God) or wrong (of satan) is this: Ask yourself, does what I engage in bring pain, sorrow, hurt, and destruction to other people at my own expense? Even though I profit from it? Or does it make impact in the lives of others, help them solve problems and promotes them as I also prosper?

Just as the author of this thread said, 'The blessings of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorry to it', to you and to others. This should be your litmus test.

Terrezo, thank you for this, pls keep helping people, hundreds may not comment but will be delivered and saved through this.

More grace from God smiley.

What of Nutrition and dietetics.

Nutrition and Dietetics is one of the best courses/medical courses to study in Nigeria and anywhere in the world.
Opportunities abound majorly in the health sector.
Though many people including in Nigeria are just becoming aware of the profession, and will most likely downgrade it but it has great prospects...

I'm on the path to becoming a RDN.

Seniorwriter:

@OP
One of the best ways to sustain an NGO is through available funds and donations.
Over the years I've created effective fund raising appraisals.
Are you aware that there is a basic locomotive in my possession that can enable #1m monthly donations as long as they are constantly been updated of how their donation no matter how small is been used.
FYI transparency in this is key to establishing utmost trust for Donors to keep been loyal to their responsibility of donating when due.
This locomotives will attract @least one thousand donors to consent towards giving #1k monthly due to the transparency and freebies inherent within the donation campaign process.
More so the thought of how to actualize one thousand donors might make it look like a mirage but let me assure you that if the locomotive is holistically executed that figure will be the least.
Using Lagos as a whole that has 20 LGAs what is needed is to create 50 donors per LGA so imagine how easier it'll be getting donors from the online space using the locomotives that has millions of active Nigerians that are open to championing a good course and vision as your Organ is proposing and promises to the general public.
Much said kindly contact me if there is a Fund Raising Campaign Department.

Drop your official facebook ID/ facebook group for me to contact via that medium.

Proactivity Leads To Productivity.

@Seniorwriter

I work with an education-based NGO in lagos, but we're facing a challenge of helping to raise funds through strategic ideas, what practical ways would you suggest

Learn high paying skills. Skills like
- Copywriting
- Content writing
- Data science and analytics
- Web development and design
- UX writing
- Virtual assistant
- Email marketing
- Social Media management
- Coding
- Graphic design

Become a badass in one or two of these skills, then start offering them as services to clients on Upwork. There's mad money in these skills.

For example, I do content writing in the tech and games niche and I've made a pretty good amount since I started.

Also, some of these skills especially writing do not need a laptop. By just using your smartphones, you can actually earn hundreds of dollars every month.

Hi, I'm new to content writing, i need good sites that will help new content writers grow in the career and where they can be paid even if its not much for a start. Thanks

Career / Re: When Is A Man Said To Be Successful by blueskies(f): 10:21pm On Jun 02, 2021
From my opinion and biblical standards, one is said to be suscessful, wen you're actually fulfilling God's exact purpose, calling or assignment for your life.

This covers every area if your life, spiritual, career, business, mariage, finance etc.

Note that you may b doing wat you love but you may not be fulfilling God's purpose and assgnment for you.
Also, wen you're in God's assignment for your life, it will always involve your passion too but it will b much more than that, it will bring satisfction, peace, and fruitfulness to others.

God is the one who created you and therefore, has the answer to wat your puprose is that will bring you fulfillment.

On a final note, being successful the right way, is more than just money, fame, houses, career, business and all that, it is engaging in specific endeavours that brings glory to God...

Health / Re: Personalized Nutritional Counseling With A Registered Dietitian by blueskies(f): 4:30pm On May 29, 2021
marissanutri:

Hello Teephar,

Good to hear from you.

The major difference between a dietitian and nutritionist is the level of education and training between the two. Both function with same goal- To assist client achieve optimal nutrition, through better food choices.
A dietitian must complete one year dietetic internship and pass the dietetic test of professional competency by the IDN (institute of dietetics in Nigeria) to be licensed to practice in clinical setting, in addition to postgraduate degree.
While a nutritionist can be registered with Nutrition society of Nigeria, as a graduate of human Nutrition/ Nutrition and dietetics.

I would have to ask you, if you know the reason your dad was referred to a nutritionist in Ibadan, with dietitians practicing in Abuja.
Depending on who referred him, medical practitioner? Or non medical?, and his/her reasons for doing so.

I am sure the referrer wants the best care for your dad.

Apologies for late response.

Weldone Ma. I just got enrolled to study nutrition and dietitics in a private uni through a DE/top-up degree program.
I kindly need academic and career advice.

I also want to ask if it is a requisite to get a postgraduate degree before one can become a Registered Dietician?

Thanks ma
