Not everyone wants to lead in the capacity of a president. Soyinka has led protests in and out of Nigeria. Abacha sentenced him to death in absentia when Soyinka joined Saro Wiwa to fight for the Ogoni cause. Soyinka went to prison and was in solitary confinement for identifying with the Biafran cause. He was also the first to mention the Asaba massacre when everyone else was afraid to do so. Soyinka has done his part. Even in his 70s, he joined walking protests and pressurized the cabal to allow Goodluck Jonathan act as president. What else do you want the man to do for Nigeria? Even at his age, he is still doing what none of you so-called youths can have the courage to do. OBJ is a coward when compared to others like Soyinka, Fela and Fawehinmi.
