Belafonte: I she files for bankruptcy, he can push for custody of their son. If she claims she can take care of the boy, she will be compelled by the court to declare her source of income and she will be made to pay damages through her nose and might still lose custody.
She better pray to God Churchill’s lawyers bungle this case because there’s ample evidence of her running her mouth defaming the man. But the lawsuit is for defamation. There are no paragraphs for child custody anywhere in the suit. |

ursullalinda: Ha ;Dha :Dha .......500mil.....from where?......I don't understand.......is Churchill high or something? Many people are abusing lawsuits. How does one demand 500 million naira in damages from an individual who is not even a billionaire? If Tonto Dikeh were to file for bankruptcy, then the lawsuit would immediately go cold. Churchill needs better lawyers or he would waste money on fruitless litigations. |

I know one married mumu man that is riding okada in Lagos and he goes around changing women like boxers , while his wife with his four children were in the village suffering. He only send them #4000 every two weeks, tell me what can #4000 buy for four children. Thank God his sister that stays in Lagos alerted the wife immediately, and she packed her children to Lagos with immediate effect. Never underestimate anyone. I am sure the man underestimated his wife. But see what the wicked woman did to him. |

eni4real: Respectfully?? After pouring hot water on someone?? You think this is a theoretical topic?? Haa . Someone even mentioned acid bath!!!!!! Just put your darling brother in that man's shoe!!
Let's see if you will still be full of respect towards anyone that support this evil..
Naija is losing her humanity!!! God Don't mind them. Some of them have brothers who are married. I am sure if this happened to their brothers, they would not even want to hear any excuses. But because this man is not related to them, they don't care. They even think he deserves it. How can any sane human being support this evil act? I swear if this man was related to me, I won't take this lying low. Anyone who can do this to a human being, can commit murder. And if one digs deeper now, it might turn out that the man was not even cheating. Might even be the wife who has skeletons in her cupboard. It is the ones who cheat that are always this excessively jealous. They do it but don't want the spouse to even show any remote sign of cheating. That man would be a fool not to press charges. That is a large burn. |

Yes, that was why some push rather than punch, and still end up killing the person. Abi was it not on FP some months back how someone gave the other a small push and that one fell down and died? If you like, continue supporting this dastardly act until you either end up in jail or in a grave. Because don't believe that all families are the same. If this man belonged to some crazy family, it would be acid that would be poured on the wife's body in reprisals. |

Desiani must have said some harsh words about Nigerian political looters and Abacha most especially when she was receiving one of the best salaries in the word as Shell top gun in Nigeria back then. What happened when she came on board.....she left as a saint right? I am not a violent person by default, so I know my limit. I can never pour hot water on a human being. I have been hurt by a loved one. Their deceit grounded my life for years. But when I had the chance to react, I did absolutely nothing even though a lot of things crossed my mind. One of my strengths is my ability to remain calm even in very provoking situations. This allows me to weigh each of my options and their consequences. I am not saying I am perfect. Maybe, I might throw a slap or two. Just maybe. But my anger cannot get so uncontrollable that it would become malice. This woman's action is not out of anger. Anger is a natural human response to provoking situations. But uncontrollable anger is a mental problem that needs professional attention. |

toprealman: Be real man, have you ever been cheated on before? No, I have never been cheated on. But, it doesn't mean I have never been hurt before by people that I trusted way too much. While a slap or two or a shove or a hard push may be understandable (not supported, though), but beating someone to stupor or pouring hot water on a human being is just not human. It is wickedness. If my brother cheats, it would be understandable if he gets a slap or two. I will understand that the cheated spouse did it out of anger. Only a bastard does not get angry (according to a Yoruba adage). And people might hit out in such helpless situation. But to boil water with the intention of causing grievous bodily harm to a human being, and then taking that hot water and pouring it on that human being is something only a beast is capable of doing. |

What if one day, your younger brother comes home carrying burn wounds? Would you tell him he deserved it? I have always told people that I detest cheating, but I will never physically assault someone for cheating on me. I will never even raise my hand, let alone inflict such injury on a human being. This is evil. It should never be supported by a human being. What if that man had died? Is that a fair punishment for buying phone for a side chick? |

If you are not concerned that your own armed forces are breaking the law by unjustly murdering people, but only care why Kanu cannot come back so he too can be murdered, then stop discussing politics, it is for civilised people So, what does it mean to take a bullet for a cause? gidgiddy: The only thing Kanu has ever done was to talk. Whether he was soliciting funds for arms or calling Nigeria a derogatory name, it is still all talk. What the law wants to know is what he did, not what he said. Nobody has been able to tell me what he did that goes beyond mere words
And it is very foolish talk to say that Kanu was raising an army in his backyard. There is a group of people choose to wear some sort uniform and salute whoever they like does not go against any law. Talk is not always talk before the law. For instance, solicitation is a crime in many, if not all jurisdictions in the United States. And talk can be construed to be whatever it is perceived to be by a law enforcement agency. That is why the law allows the police to arrest someone if they feel he is going to commit a crime or if they perceive that what he did is a crime. However, the person must be charged to court within a stipulated period of time after the arrest has been made. |

Kanu has absolutely nothing to prove to you! He is a coward. What is he afraid of? The military has been accused of extrajudicially executing some people on the very day that it was purported that Kanu's house was raided. If ordinary people could take a bullet for the Biafran cause, why can't Kanu take a bullet too? |

I expect Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to come and pay his parents their last respects especially when his agitations led to their deaths.
The best Buhari can do is to arrest him but the international community will come to his aid like they did for Sowore. His staying away portrays him like a coward. He is a coward. Just like Ojukwu was. There was no evidence of Ojukwu fighting in the Biafran war. He was only good at rhetorics, and being an Oxford-trained man, his English was RP, so he used it to deceive millions of people to their death. The same is repeating itself. Kanu is the rabble-rouser this time. Although, he cannot be compared to Ojukwu in terms of sophistication, he is just as cowardly, or even more. |

Monday60655: Security stability did not depends on the menace and Havocs of Book haram and herdsmen, but in the hands of unarmed group. A group does not need to be armed for it to pose as a security challenge. Have you ever witnessed a riot before or a lynch mob? They all begin as an unarmed crowd of people. And then riot can begin with just a mere word of mouth, and before you know it, you have killings and burning of properties. As for Boko Haram and herdsmen, it is not like the security agents aren't doing anything about it. I believe you were not asleep when policemen foiled a suicide attack on a Winners Chapel branch. I also believe that you have not been asleep all this while that Operation Rattlesnake 3 of the Nigerian Airforce has been dealing with ISWAP in Borno. The fact that Boko Haram and other violent groups are still present in Borno does not mean the police or other security agencies should not do their work of enforcing law and order in other parts of the country. All those IPOB member that you see without weapons can become a terror in a matter of minute. |
