Will he be punished?

The answer is NO....You & I know that.

How many electoral offenders have you seen punished?
Before now..
I mean, before 2021....
INEC never cared about Electoral Offenders..
..
It was after 13th July 2021, after the Senate passed the “National Electoral Offences Commission Bill” that INEC made to remind the Senate that the prosection of Electoral Offenders is also part of INEC’s job.
..
But they had not been doing that work all the while..
Thus, the Senate thought that the job of organising elections are already too hectic on them,, thus, it gave birth to the idea of relieving them of the duty of prosecuting electoral offenders by creating a separate commission dedicated to it.
..
..
So, it is up to INEC to decide whether to start doing their work from now going forward, or to go back in time and fish out grave electoral offenders from times past.

Yes the law is stupid. Because it's like having a gunshot wound and using plaster to seal it. It is an ineffective, inefficient law that runs after the symptoms but not the problem.
It is a law that is politically correct, and makes it look like the legislature is doing something while in reality we all know this is not the solution.
So I understand the so called reason for the law and I also understand that it is ineffective.
In An Open Secret-Ballot System of Voting,, if secrecy is not maintained, then the breach of the secrecy is an Offence..
..
..
Or are you saying that the Open Secret-Ballot System is a stupid method of Voting in itself??

INEC might have to start thinking about database technology in machine accreditation instead of network technology as database from server technology as e get why. I have a feeling some unscrupulous elements are jamming the network of polling units where they would lose massively. Just a thought. Just thinking o. To INEC, there is still enough time to change this technology to my aforementioned one before 2023 to avoid potential massive disenfranchisement of voters then. I rest my case.
I thought as much..
The reason why the machine failed massively was because it was connecting to the main server through internet..
And it was jamming, probably due to high traffic and congestion

Update on #AnambraDecides2021

TEXT OF A PRESS STATEMENT BY THE RESIDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER, ANAMBRA STATE ON OPENING AND CLOSING OF POLLS FOR THE ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION, SATURDAY 6TH NOVEMBER 2021

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the period for opening and closing of Poll from 8.30am to 4.00pm. This revised closing time applies to areas where Polling Units opened after the commencement period of 8.30am. In line with existing regulations and guidelines of the Commission, any intending voter who is on the queue by 4.00 pm shall be allowed to vote. All Polling Unit staff must comply with this directive.

The extension of time arose out of several field reports that voters have had problems with accreditation. The Commission is currently investigating the reason the accreditation devices, Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), have worked perfectly in some Polling Units, but not in others. In some of the cases, it would seem that this resulted from software glitches. Our technicians have already built an update to the devise software to prevent further challenges. The update is currently being installed in the concerned BVAS and we request voters, candidates and agents to be patient and allow our technical staff to solve the problem.

The Commission wishes to reiterate that in cases of sustained malfunction of the BVAS, the Presiding Officer must inform the voters and polling agents that accreditation and voting for the affected Polling Unit shall continue tomorrow or at another time determined by the Commission. With this extension of time and the recommencement of accreditation where the BVAS consistently malfunctions, the Commission assures that no voter will be disenfranchised.

Our deployment has also been adversely affected by transportation challenges in some locations. It must be noted that on account of security concerns, some of the transporters that were mobilized and collected 50% of their sign on fee backed out at the last moment, leaving some of our ad-hoc staff stranded. Also, some of the trained ad-hoc staff backed out at the last moment. The Commission is on top of these challenges and extant regulations and guidelines will be applied on a case by case bases. Consequently, we are harvesting areas where voting will realistically no longer take place today, including places where substantial disruption has occurred, to enable a possible recommencement of voting at another time, in line with extant laws and the regulations and guidelines of the Commission.

We appeal to all voters, candidates, stakeholders communities and political parties to remain calm and law abiding. We assure you that the Commission is determined to a make all votes count.

Thank you.

..
This same INEC earlier denied that none of the Ad-hoc staff backed out ooo.
..
..
HERE BELOW ARE MY OWN PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS AT MY POLLING-UNIT
..
The Accreditation Machine kept rejecting people who came to vote, even when their names are there on the physical booklet register.
..
These people that were rejected by the machine continued washing their hands repeatedly so that the machine would accept them.,, including one Reverend Sister like that ooo..
..
The Machine rejected them still, even after they finished washing their hands many times. The machine rejected them still, and even rejected their photos too..
..
Like, even after the photo-capturing with the machine, these people were still rejected again by the machine, and they were told to go back and wash their hands all over again.

With the hijack of result sheets of the above local government areas, the good people of Anambra State will agree with me that some people do not mean well for them hence the reason they are doing everything possible to ensure that there vote will not count on November 6th.

Vigilant Anambra voters must take this alarm serious because its a reliable information.

Anambra voters should not also allow anybody to intimidate them with Police because the evil agents of APC are currently moving round the State with many Policemen.

This is a big indictment of Police officers saddled with the responsibility of protecting voters on the election day.

No matter what they do, the vote of Anambra electorates must count.

If the original result sheets of the affected Local government areas are not produced, Anambra electorates will not accept the outcome of the November 6th election.
