Ychick: Hi guys,
I just want to say the following:
1. NCDMB is largely on merit. So just calm down, do your preparation for the test and if you pass, you will have a job offer in your hands. 2. NCDMB payment is very good, as their funding comes from multinationals, they take 1-2% of all oil and gas contracts in Nigeria. 3. It is very organised and the Nigerian factor there is not too high. 4. On Pay, this is what I can tell you, 5 years ago, an entry level lawyer (contract staff) earned 250,000 a month. So I encourage you all, to prep for the test and calm down with the anxiety.
PS-it is also a permanent job as they are moving into their new head quarters and need staff. At least one should get himself ready for the test before one should be caught unaware because from look of things the test and the interview will not take longer time from now |

babacha: Most are one year training and if u perform well during d training, u have a very good job. They plan to create 3000 or more jobs this year if am not mistaking. They just finished d construction of their new head office not too long, a 17 story building in bayelsa. They are working with some local content company and they have some good project to commission this year and all those project need personal I don’t think this one is 1year internship program rather its their general recruitment process to absorbed the people into their mainstream workforce that’s my view from advert perspectives |

DonShearer: During that time, though it was paper and pencil, it was two papers: - The first one was all about logic and reasoning and the second one was general. In logic and reasoning what one's need is his IQ to do its best for him while for general it wasn't funny guys, it had five sections and each section contained 10 question. The sections are 1. Mathematics 2. Process Engineering 3. Mechanical engineering 4. Electrical and 5. Instrumentation . But that time it's only engineers are involved and few scientist Which am among them. This time my be different for non engineering and science.
Am Not saying that's what we should expect this time around. We should all pray and we should all submit to the will of God. Whoever get the shot am very much happy for him or her. Do you have an idea on how many people they’ll recruit base on advert compared to what they normally recruited |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: OilandGasJobs Recruitment 2020 by bmyc: 11:03am On Jul 19, 2020 |
The application has already closed what next? I believe hard work and prayers are the answer to the whole thing. Forget about influencing the process until it gets to an end remember merit count then any other ways follows✌️✌️ |

Remember it’s federal government job and federal character must be followed meaning every state of the federation must be represented, I think it’s among the reasons why they used Daily Trust paper for the advert and also extend the application duration |

Gmajor: I stumbled on this thread today even though I've applied for the job a while back. After seeing people talk about getting an email to update their account, I checked my spam folder and saw that I got the same email. But going to the website, I'm kinda confused on what exactly I'm supposed to update. The email itself does not specify what needs to be updated. I just saw the same mail asking me to update my basic information as a matter of urgency since on Wednesday and I did the update now. Does it mean one need to reapply again or that’s all? |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NNPC Aptitude Test On December 6, 2014 by bmyc: 10:47am On Sep 16, 2015 |
prelinctus: PCL's 'body language' doesn't suggest panic neither does it suggest hope. You don't expect them to start telling people that the recruitment is on hold when NNPC hasn't sent them a memo to that effect. So I have to disagree with you that PCL should know better because really, they don't know anything. They're just contractors waiting for orders from their paymaster.(sic) People are just asking the wrong people the right questions. Rekeson is the only person that has brought info from the right people(NNPC). Now, I'm not saying Rekeson's right but I'll rather hear 'grapevine' from NNPC than any 'automated response' ish from PCL. Looking at what you said NNPC has already contracted the recruitment exercise, if assuming the recruitment exercise is cancel don't you know that NNPC will pay them because is a contract? Then if NNPC would have to pay them I see no reason why the recruitment exercise will not be continue at all! |

PMB is interested in reducing number of unemployed youth drastically so somebody should tell me how will that work without recruiting young and capable hands into the service of NNPC? However, majority of those graduates working in NNPC are 2.1 or 1st class or Upper credit or distinction graduates, now tell me if those people are incompetent to work or is the corruption nature of the NNPC management. I want to believe that all of us that are on waiting list equally have the same type of result which by God grace we are going to use it in changing all sort of irregularities when we assume office. |
