mimilyrics: 1. Yes, biometric records are kept forever and for every application made, registered details are cross-referenced in UKVI databases with matches explored for information discrepancies. 2. This depends on the merits of her application. 3. 10 year ban in cases of misrepresentation and deception. Subsequent applications will be scrutinised.
Ps: why was a different name used earlier? Was it used as a means to game the system or was it the person's legal name at the time? well, to game the system at the time(she was much younger and her parents thought they were helping her). any way around this? |

Good day house. It's really nice what people do here. i have some question and i will be highly appreciative of very reliable, evidence based answers and opinions. someone i know tried to apply for UK visa about 11 years ago with passport that bears a name and date of birth that we will call J.K. Elizabeth and Bleep for the purpose of this thread and was denied(reasons not stated and more importantly her fingerprint was taken) fastfoward to 2020, she's wants to reapply with another passport with her genuine name and date of birth. now my questions are; 1. does the UK embassy keep biometric records for refused/denied visas? if yes, for how long? 2. does she stand a significant chance of visa approval this time? what are the odds? 3. what are the consequences if the previous records pop up? like i said earlier, informative and factual answers and opinions will be highly valued. thanks a whole lot. |

id911: Atiku Abubakar is a tested bridge-builder
He has friends all over the country and trusted across ethnic and religious divides
He's detribalized, not an ethnic and religious bigot. He believes on merit and seriously frowns at nepotism of any kind
He's an astute businessman; a successful entrepreneur. He has created and still creating thousands of jobs for Nigerians. He constantly empowers men and women to generate wealth and improve their conditions.
He's a disciple of restructuring and devolutions of powers
He's charismatic
He's enlightened, well exposed and focused
He's visionary, has foresight, understands the problems of the country and has solutions and timelines to tackle them
He's a lover of education and will hugely invest in training and education of our people
Abuse of power, lawlessness and impunity will be curtailed
Propaganda and lies will never be part of his government
Atiku is an excellent product that will better the lives of Nigerians. The youths and business minded people of this country who want our country to run like a business will queue behind Atiku to restore lost Jobs and bring unity to our country.
Let's ATIKULATE in 2019 to give hope to the common man Keep running your mouth for these evil men, you go hear word eh! Atikulate ko Geniculate ni |
Health › Re: I Have Ocd And Some Other Mental Disorder... I Hate Myself... Please Help... by BobbyDean(m): 2:17pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
Like someone rightly asked, are all these self diagnosed (ofcourse with the almighty Google)? I see all these people talking about socialising, getting a babe & all, no doubt good suggestions but please sir, what you need is to do is to see a qualified Psychiatrist preferrably in a Psychiatry hospital (they have a holistic way of patient management). If you are in Southwestern Nigeria, there's one in Yaba, Lagos & Neuropsychiatry Hospital Aro, Abeokuta, Ogun state. I think there is one in the East (Enugu or Anambra, not really sure). Also, some Teaching Hospitals have Psychiatry Departments you could visit. Meanwhile, forget all the rubbish people say about Nigeria not having proper facilities for Mental Health issues, maybe we dont but even the afflicted people dont use the few we have because of 'stigma' (which i understand maybe cos of our society) but do not hesitate to seek proper care from the right people (Doctors! Not religious leaders & herbalist). God be with you. |

This is why it is not advisable to have rough sex with pregnant women.
This swelling is a result of the baby's head being constantly hit violently by the father's preek when he was still in the womb. pls dont misinform the good people of Nigeria. Keep your belief to yourself |

That it worked for u does'nt mean it will work for others. Most men become more serious & work more harder and smarter because of their relationship... Moreover it all depends on ur partner, if ur partner encourages, supports & makes some sacrifices in the relationship for the betterment of the union, i don't see y one should leave such relationship... Romance › A Romantic Gesture, Lustful Beckoning Or Utter Disrespect? by BobbyDean(op): 11:45pm On Sep 11, 2017 |
We now live in an extremely casual world where some lifestyles that were not so acceptable are now the norm. No doubt, change is inevitable & honestly somethings have really transformed for the greater good of mankind, somethings will never change & unfortunately, somethings have gone bezerck. I was having a convo with a female friend the other day & she was telling how she had crazy fun the previous night, who doesnt like to listen to crazy fun stories & escapades right?. A male 'friend' of hers took her out to a club, a strip club to throw some bands @ naked women. She got an exclusive lap dance from one of the stripper & blah blah blah. My question is, is it appropriate to take a lady to a strip club? Personally, i dont support it, not because of some peity or morality but because it's not only disrespectful to 'womanhood', it's dehumanising to watch another woman dance seductively while you throw cash in the air. The hidden message in the act to me is 'let's go see pretty young ladies like you dancing naked to get paid'. It's just my bloody opinion & i would like Nairalanders to critique this. P.S. I think i made my opinion on this issue known in a quite civilised manner, please endeavour to do the same. Thanks alot! |

Health › Re: Isha Sesay, CNN Journalist Commends Nigerian Doctors And Nurses by BobbyDean(m): 2:04am On Jul 02, 2017 |
fastgyal: but on a serious note, we have really Good doctors here. we are our own problem. most hospitals are short-staffed and the doctors are overworked. With Nigeria taking the negative lead in several global health indicators, health personnel who should help reverse the tide are in short supply across the country with training and recruitment increasingly ebbing. Currently, the country has a little above 600 paediatricians to care for its over 40 million children, compared to the United Kingdom’s over 5,000 for 20 million children. The figures are more depressing in other areas of medical specialisation. With the rising cases of cancer across the country, there are only a little above 15 oncologists; 10 neurosurgeons to attend to issues related to the nervous system; and 120 urologists to manage conditions related to the male urinary tract and reproductive organs such as prostate, kidney, bladder cancers, prostate cancer, testicular cancers, infertility in men, sexual dysfunction etc. There's no motivation at all for these doctors, causing them to handle their work with less care. many of them are underpaid, less widely appreciated and undergo professionalism with tears. When those in power learn to start doing the right thing, then we'd start getting the right appraisals. what? 120 urologist? A little over 600 paediatrician?(altho those ones fail residents like it's nothing). These figures are damn scary & unfortunately it's gonna get worse cos medical folks out here dont even want residency again or @least not in 9ja cos they feel it's waste of life. BTW, how come you have these facts & figures? |

teamsynergy: to show dem life is not easy..
na joke oo
I don't think that doctors slap babies after birth . This used to be an old practice if the baby failed to cry immediately after birth. The doctor would hold the baby upside down and slap its butt softly to stimulate it to cry and take its first breath on its own . The upside down position wouldhelp in draining out the amniotic fluid .But probably now doctors have realised that this isnt compulsory as such and rubbing with a soft towel or just tickling the babies feet is sufficient to stimulate it to cry.The amniotic fluid is a very sticky fluidand that would make the baby really slippery. And holding a slippery baby upside down is a risky thing to do . I think this practice is practically obsolete , but you can still see it sometimes in half-researched medical dramas and movies . #copied are you a doctor, nurse or health science student? |

I might not necessarily go on to marry @ the said ages but i think there's some reason in the op's write up. He didnt say lazy jobless mofos to go get a wife, he said if you feel you can give 2 extra ppl decent lives, why wait till you get a billi (which most dont get eventually). It's not totally out of place especially for guys that are dating decent girls that dont really mind your status( considering what 'slay queens' have turned the world into) right now. #Justsaying |
