What touched me most deeply in the entire article is the quote:

This is a most profound statement. Many Nigerians, at home and in the diaspora try as much as possible to emulate the western culture, ignorantly assuming that it will make them appear 'posh' and 'classy'. They don't realise that if the Westerners despised their own culture the way Nigerians do theirs, we won't even have a culture to emulate.

I have been speaking with a client who insists on being more American than the average American. When we talk on phone he introduces himself as Mr Yuuummy (Yomi). He speaks with an exaggerated American accent, even though his 'Yoruba-tic' intonation still manages to burst though. When I met him one to one I was unimpressed because of his whole fakeness. These kinds of Nigerians will go to Europe and the Americas and be more native than the aborigines.

Is it inferiority complex? A lack of self respect brought about by the despising of their own unique culture? You go London and instantly forget you're a Nigerian. Your children grow up to see themselves as English people because you have made sure they see their roots as 'inferior'.

Your culture is what makes you stand out from the average Joe. Own it. Be proud of it. Fly the flag wherever you find yourself outside the shores of Nigeria.

Just don't fly the flag and disgrace us sha. Our rep is already bad enough as it is.

This is our line of duty. While we need to water down the language for all to understand we can always spot the language of the fakes.. They delve into issues far above their competence. In a book of 1000 pages they cannot exeed page one. In my years of practice I have never heard any qualified doctor using such an antiquated language.

By tracking their posts it is easy to detect fake doctors here. It is easy to read and post article here even when you are not what you say you are. Most of them sound friendly with their writeups. But they have no capacity to sit down and write after an initial confrontation. They can 'dodge bullets'. Beware of everyone here.Even at the workplace the fakes are extraordinarily friendly and liked by patients. Thats how they survive being detected.

Mine is actually an outlandish one. So i met this pretty babe in the most unprecedented way. I went to my guy's place (just by my house) to just while away time. I wonder why people are making a lot of fuss about Leicester City's victory over Sevilla.

Their victory was down to Seville's shambolic defending and poor finishing over both legs than their magnificence.

What most people don't seem to know is that Sevilla has struggled of late for domestic form. Leicester's victory did not come to me as a surprise.

However, Atletico Madrid is a different ball game. I see them dispatching Leicester with ease, the exception being that Leicester ride their luck, for which there's not much chance.

On Madrid-Bayern, while I hate anything Madrid, I won't write them off. They seem to always find their way around the Bavarians regardless of the form they are in. So, current form does not factor in here. Anybody can win this one.

As a Barca fan, it's hard to analyze this one without being biased.

On the Dortmund-Monaco one, Monaco may just nick it due to their talent, strength, and character.

Overall, it promises to be four thrilling ties. And whatever happens, may the best teams win!

Honestly it's an issue i have never stopped addressing. It appears very strange & criminal to me for an individual to claim a certain tribe & lack the foremost identity of the tribe, language. Personally, when i see English as a 2nd language atleast while i still live in Nigeria. When i meet a new person & my intuition tells me we share a native language, my brain automatically kills the English switch except on occassions when i cant afford to do so. Unfortunately, a 'civilised Nigerian' sees you as being savage or uncultured when you talk to them in a Nigerian language (meanwhile the English Language, they can string a few words together to make the simplest sense). I think we need a rethink & a change of mindset.

i think cheating in men takes some degree of conscious & unconscious(if there is) effort regardless of your nationality, race or colour. You think men from Vatican city wouldnt cheat if they lived a regular life(atleast the life of a normal American, Ethiopian or Japanese man)?

Having seen so many gynaecologist consult & examine their patient & also from my own patient contact, one of the last things on your mind is deriving sexual pleasure from doing your job. Like it's totally off your mind(atleast for a right minded doctor)! Moreso, the ethical thing to do while examining a female patient is to have a Chaperone; a third party, usually a nurse or another doctor preferably female.
