No,that wasn't d reason INEC gave to us. They postpone d election sighting incompentency and not-enough preparation by our security agencies.
And mind u,forget d perjury and certificate forgery saga against Buhari. Who told you Buhari didn't fill his form properly? Chai diaris Godu o!D case has been thrown outta d courth and mark my words,this isn't Marchdownbuhari but Marchingbuhari to aso rock. They (PDP) are afraid to lose. And this postponement will make Buhari gain more popularity and votes come march. Take it or leave it!

Now that INEC has officially shifted the upcoming general elections,what will happen to those having events like wedding,burial,e.t.c on the election days? Jonathan using all tools within his reach to make life unbearable for peace-lovin Nigerians since 2010.

I have been a guest on Nairaland since 2008 and I innitially registered as a full-fledge member early last year after a friend convinced me that I'll be more actively involved if i register.
Upon my registration,I delved more into different sections and got to know that most breaking and important news appear here first before other media houses got to make them public.
Then,one thing i noticed is that,here on Nairaland,things which some poeple refer to as "secrets" or "confidentials" are no longer what they seem to be.
Here on nairaland,information and ideas which some people keep as important and sacred that rake in millions for them and which some people spend millions of naira to get are discussed and taught here FREE OF CHARGE.
Then,some secrets which involve high-calibre people and diplomats which some media houses dare not try to publicise (when they dont want their license seized or businesses closed) are openly discussed on this wonderful forum.
This is why I come into conclusion that Nairaland should adopt the slogan "......where secrets are no longer secrets).

Mods please,help me move this thread to the front page. I really want a revenge. Mods,do the needful.

I am looking for someone who knows solar energy and inverter installation combined. I just developed keen interest in the two services.

Reminder to all former pupils of Ogun State College of Education (OSCE) Staff School, 1993/94/95 set , now Tai Solarin University of Education (TASCE) Staff School, Igbeba Road , Ijebu-ode, Ogun State.[/size][size=8pt][size=8pt][/size]

It was like yesterday as i remember our school received an impromptu letter of invitation to a friendly football match from our Lady of Apostles Primary School, (a public Shool) in Ijebu-Ode.
We from OSCE were very young boys of about 7-10 years then compared to our opponents who were about 11-17 years old.
Our teachers got few ''strong'' boys from primary 3,4and 5 together and we trained for the match which was scheduled to hold at 4pm, that same day. We spent the whole day training. Academic activities were halted for those of us who were involved in the training for the day.
At 2pm, we were asked to rest and a few were selected for the match. I was fortunate to be one of those who were picked. I can only remember just a few among us like me, Amojo Jacob, Gbenga Fayomi, Olukoya Mayowa, Isibor Ugbomo, Femi (in Pry 5 then), Liadi Oluwaseun, Ederika Henry,odunlami Tade, Funsho ( who used to come from Ikangba with the Fayomis'), Niyi, our captain, Olaolu Ajose Osikoya (idi bombay).
We got to the venue of the match around 3pm and were camped in a nearby school. We met our opponents who were also camped there. Their physical appearances alone sent cold blood down our spines. They were big and huge with no school sandals compared to we who were small and fragile with different designer white canvasses, tennis, snickers, e.t.c.
Our school authority prepared jollof rice and fried fishes ( eja din din) with iced water for us to kill hunger and give us strength due to the training we had. Also, they extended this gesture because our parents were not informed prior to the match. Hence the need to prepare something for us arose, and was applauded.
So, we were served in the presence of our opponents who envied us while eating and were willing to savor from the food. Their eye balls were red and out like full moon. They were so much interested in the food, that it seemed they were counting the spoons in our mouths as we ate. From their facial gestures, I knew they were infuriated and I overheard one them said they would deal with us ruthlessly.( God, have mercy oo. Trouble wan loom).
We got to the venue with strength and undigested jollof rice and fried fishes ( panla ni o ) in our bellies. The whole field was full to its brim. The spectators wanted to witness another conflict between ''David and Goliath'' and be part of history. Everybody's expectation was to see David defeated Goliath once again. Alas!, the reverse was the case.
As we gathered on the field to face these huge boys, in fact, I was scared . Although, I knew a few among them like God’s power, Rafiu, Kayode, Abayo, e.t.c. for we lived in the same street. After our prayer, our teacher Mr Ekinola said '' Jacob, I need 3 goals from you''. ‘’ Mayowa, 3 goals, Niyi, 2 goals'' (as if goals come that easy. Enu dun r'efo) we all chorused ''no problem sir''.
Pheew!, the whistle was blown and the match began. The dexterity at which our opponents played was superb. Their tactics were exceptional because they have represented their school on such occasion more than once, unlike we who were playing our debut inter-school match.
To my surprise, where ever the ball went was where my school team all ran to. If the ball went right, we moved right and if left, we ran left. Our team ran up and down like papers and nylons blowing wherever the wind blows. (But sorry o, someone like me was feeling the trouble of the undigested rice in my stomach while running up and down). I remember an opponent mistakenly kicked the ball at my stomach. Guess what? I went down on my knees and ran cold for more than 5 minutes before I regained my strength. I nearly defecated on the field due to the force at which the ball was kicked. In fact, I blamed myself for being a part of that match.
Within 10 minutes of the game, they scored. GOAL! We pulled ourselves together with hope to equalize and dealt with them. ''Fiam'', they dribbled us all, made some accurate passes and shot the ball in an uppermost corner of the goal post which made our amateur goalkeeper, Funsho dived like cat fish in water and fell down like a tree whereby sustaining bruises here and there on his arms and legs. GOAL!! Goal number 2.
We played 2-0 down in the first half. During the first half break, many people surrounded us (because we were young and fragile). They encouraged us to put more efforts and put them to shame. One of our teachers even suggested Mr Odebunmi (a young teacher in our school, who had no beard unlike others) should put on the jersey and join us on the field of play, but we shoved him aside and said we were equal to the task.
Pheew!! The second half whistle was blown. This time around, I felt more urge to defecate because of the undigested rice and eja dindin in my stomach ( I later learnt that nearly all members of my team felt same way) and I vowed to ''try my best'' till the final whistle.
In a nutshell, we managed to concede 2 more goals to make it an aggregate of 4-0!!!! After the match, I learnt Mayowa ( now a Barrister at law ) ran to a nearby bush and emptied the content of his stomach which gave him trouble to stop our opponents from scoring that much because he was our Yobo, Omeruo, Efe Ambrose - our main defender. Some of us fell on the field and were fanned because we had exhausted our energy while discharging our duties to our darling school and had never played that long before. Our opponents even came and checked on us. One of them said they had mercy on us to have scored 4 goals instead of more and it's the punishment for eating jollof rice without them tasting it. They said they spelt OSCE which is a 4-letter word.
They were even quoted as saying '' Won je rice , won o fun wa je. Jollof rice won de ta san-san si wa ni'mu. Awa naa de spell OSCE fun won''.
After this incident, each time we were in our school bus, and saw any of their students (our opponents) in their school uniform, we booed them and they replied '' 4-0 !'' with their hand gestures.
About 1 months later, I heard that we were to play another friendly match with a public school, which had bigger boys than the ones we played. I had vowed to feign illness to school on the day of the match by applying ’ rubb’ on my face and all over my body or even stayed at home ( if my mum allowed me) than being a part of the team that would face United pry School, Oke-Owa, Ijebu-ode. Emi ke!!!! Thank God the match was not held till I said ''bye bye'' to primary school in June 1994.
I shall never forget this experience in my life. Even in my grave!
Today, many of the small and fragile boys then, even our opponents are now fathers and men of honor in their chosen professions like Engineers, Medical doctors, Surgeons, Pharmacists, Lawyers, Teachers, Businessmen, e.t.c.
This makes me to conclude that ,,Omo on pe d'agba''.
If anyone of my opponents then ( Our Lady Of Apostles Primary School boys, Ijebu-Ode) is reading this piece, i hereby challange you to a return-match. We still have some scores to settle. You should know the contacts of your mates, because i know how to get in touch with my former school team mates. Let's go to Arena ( I suggest National Stadium Abuja) and get the old issue settled once and for all.
Now, I stand up to render our dear school anthem. Please, join me!
